Reading sample: The way back to life




Regarding the FF: Bulma died that night and cannot be resuscitated either.


Trunks is around 18 and Bra around 3 years.


It's about how Veggi feels now and how he is slowly finding the courage to live again.


I hope you guys write me honest comments. It's my first FF. So, a lot of criticism so that I can improve. Greetings Shibo

Here we go:




Vegeta stood alone on a cliff. Everything around him was quiet, so quiet that she threatened to crush him. Here and there you could hear an animal disappear into the bush or the leaves in the wind. But he registers nothing around him. For him the world was shattered into a thousand pieces, just like his heart was when he knelt by her bed and held her lifeless hand.


He felt an icy emptiness grow inside him. It was the same emptiness as the one he felt before Bulma got to know it, only that it was much more painful.He was so grateful to her that she showed him what it really means to live and, above all, what it means to love. But now it was all over. His heart died with her. What should happen now without her? Without her love?


He would never see her smile again, her beautiful smile. She would yell at him again. Never again will he feel her warmth. Never again.


"Vegeta ......" As if struck by lightning, he turns around and looks in all directions.


´It was her voice´ But nowhere can he look at her, besides he cannot feel her aura either.


Suddenly he realizes that it was only the wind that blows its mischief in leaves.


´Now I´m starting to turn it off too´


And again he stares into the distance. Until suddenly, slowly but deliberately, he walks towards the edge of the cliff.
