Chapter: Blue III
After Blue left, a lot changed at Capsule Corp. . Bulma was in a less good mood, Bra was moaning more than ever and Vegeta took care of his son more than before. Trunks suffered most from the blues disappearance, after all, he had just lost his first great love. He knew where she was, he knew how to get there, but he didn't want Vegeta to know about it, because somehow he seemed to be connected to the whole thing. But how?
Vegeta was in an extremely good mood, that was clear. HE trained with Trunks and even laughs (!) Once. This seemed strange to his son, so he consulted his mother. "I don't know either, but it must have something to do with your little friend. Since she left, he's been acting like he's stoned. Even Bra notices that ..." That was Bulma's only answer.
Trunks made his way to his room no smarter. Up the stairs he heard his beeper, he had forgotten about it!As fast as he could he stormed into his room and read the message: "Meet us tomorrow at three at the old quarry in the 19th district. Try to prevent your father from following them." Trunks happily fell on his bed. Then he began to forge a plan on how best to get Vegeta to follow him. He decided that his mother surely had to and would help him.
The next day everything went according to plan. Bulma asked Trunks at breakfast, so Vegeta would be sure to hear, if he wasn't going shopping for her. "In the 19th district, to the health food store. I need buckwheat and greens, they don't have that in the supermarket." Trunks obviously said yes, and Vegeta didn't ask any questions. "I'll go in the afternoon, then I can still train with you in the morning, father."
The morning passed quickly, and after lunch Bulma handed her son 100 groschen. "Take care!" she winked at him and Trunks flew overjoyed towards the 19th district. That the excuse was perfect, Trunks bought greens and buckwheat on the way, so that Vegeta couldn't get suspicious under any circumstances. Everything went like clockwork.
At three o'clock sharp Trunks was at the quarry. There she stood, still as beautiful as she had been the first day. Her blonde-blue hair was blowing in the wind and her light-colored dress, which she wore for the first time, played in the sunlight. She didn't smile and her eyes just stared at him. "What's going on? Why should I come here? Have you changed your mind?" He tried to be serious, but the hope in his eyes was too great. "I wanted to say goodbye to you for good. I thought it was unfair that I disappeared so quickly. I think I owe you an explanation: It's not ..." She got no further. "Stop being human! Didn't I tell you to keep your hands off my son? I was already happy never to have to see you again! Last time I was gentle, but now it's over!"Vegeta had stepped out from behind a rock and was now approaching them both.
“Vegeta!” Wild flames blazed in Blue's eyes. However, she did not shrink back, but went straight to the Saya-jin prince. Trunks no longer understood the world. Why are the two rushing each other so much? With astonishment he watched as Blue threw her dress back and she was now standing there in a dark blue combat suit. Slowly he began to wonder if he was going to lose his mind. His girlfriend could fight? He had never seen her train, let alone fight.
But he didn't have time to think about it, because Vegeta and Blue were now facing each other, and neither of them seemed to want to give in.
"The great prince is afraid that his son will be taken away from him? Don't worry Vegeta. I just wanted to say goodbye to him and tell him that it is not his fault, but that of his father." With these words she jumped into the Air to land behind Vegeta, who was just as stunned by the girl's strength as Trunks. But he didn't lose his presence of mind and ducked under her blow. But that was just the beginning. Screaming wildly and with an expression of hatred in his eyes, Blue beat Vegeta. However, he put up with it and did not parry a blow. After enduring her blows long enough, he let his hand flick out within seconds. He was now holding the girl by the neck. “I told you to leave my son happy!” Blue gasped, but it didn't look like she wanted to give up. "Ask your son yourself, you big Saya-jin! Ask him if I'm in his way! He knows better than you, I think!" She coughed, but Vegeta didn't seem to want to release his grip, on the contrary, he squeezed even tighter too. "Is that true, son? Is it true that this human being is not in your way? Answer!" Trunks still stood there, stunned, and stared up at the fighting. He didn't know what to do. On the one hand he loved Blue, on the other hand Vegeta was his father and he couldn't attack him, could he?But he decided for the truth: "Listen to father. I love this girl as you love my mother, and I don't understand what you have against our relationship. I'm still your son!"
"I made a mistake years ago, Trunks. I should never have fallen in love with your mother. Love makes you weak! I realized that too late, I don't want you to feel the same way." Vegeta was still holding Blue in a stranglehold, but not as firmly as before. So she could breathe deeply again. "But you got stronger, because of your love, you just didn't understand it. And what about me and my sister? Are we just mistakes?" Trunks had flown upstairs and faced Vegeta. "You weren't a mistake! You are the product of a mistake! If I didn't want your mother so much, I'd be gone a long time!" Vegeta's expression was filled with an expression that Trunks had never noticed. Was it regret for what he'd said?"Admit it wasn't a mistake! Admit that you wronged Blue!" Vegeta let go of Blue and his hand dropped. "I ... I ..." Vegeta turned around. "I ... you are right. Damn it! Why do I let you pat me softly? You can see what a mistake it is!"
“But it's not bad or bad?” The now free Blue spoke up. "No, and now get out! But if you please together! And when you are at home, Bulma will tell you that I hate buckwheat and green spelled!" With these words he sent her away.
"Do you think he's mad?" Blue asked as she went to Capsule Corp. were. "No, he just has to think about what was said today. I think he's glad that I'm in such good hands." Blue smiled at Trunks, and hand in hand they flew home.
