Vegeta is completely in a trance and doesn't even notice that his son is getting closer. By the time Trunks reached the cliff, it was too late, his father stepped over the edge.


Trunks gets everything out of himself and swoops down the cliff.


In the last second he reached Vegeta and was able to save him shortly before the impact.

With his father in his arms, he flies back up to the cliff. There he drops Vegeta, who stares at his son with blank eyes. Minutes pass in which no one even moves. Trunks is completely stunned, he had never seen his father like this before.


"What is wrong with you?" Trunks asks the completely absent-minded Vegeta. “It's not just you who lost someone you loved.” He's starting to shake his up. Vegeta doesn't show the slightest reaction, just keeps staring at his son.


At that moment it seems to Trunks as if a deep ravine separates them and he just couldn't reach him anymore.


Without saying anything else, he grabs Vegeta and flies home with him.


Where he promptly puts him in his bed. Trunks is amazed that Vegeta apparently doesn't even think to fight back.


After leaving his father's room, he looks after Bra, who fortunately was sleeping peacefully.

`She finally fell asleep from crying so much .`


Since he couldn't sleep anyway, he goes downstairs to the kitchen to get something to drink.


To his surprise, he finds his grandparents there looking mournfully at the table. When Trunks enters the kitchen, they look up and give him a rather sad smile. Trunks also forces himself to smile, which, however, remains a pathetic attempt.


"Did Bra cry a lot?"


"Yes, she cried herself to sleep. Did you find Vegeta?" answers Dr. Briefs.


"I took him to his room."


Trunks takes a coke and walks out of the room. All he wants now is to be alone.
