Trunks (part 2)

It had been almost three months since Trunks had bumped into the girl from the market.

It was Saturday again and Trunks - like every morning - ran through the rows of stands, hoping to meet YOU again. He didn't really believe in finding her for a long time, but something inside him urged him to look further.

Of course he had asked the rice dealer about the girl, but he hadn't been able to help him either. He just said that he had never seen the girl before and that she was not "very tight" anyway and a criminal at that.

Trunks had thought about it for a long time and had finally come to the conclusion that he didn't care if the girl was a criminal, not very tight or something.

He wanted to find her, touch her, kiss her.He wanted to do to her everything that happened so often in his dreams. He didn't want to dream anymore. He wanted YOU, just her.

"Just her," Trunks said quietly to himself. He had completely forgotten where he was. Completely lost in thought, he was staring into the crowd when suddenly someone tapped him on the shoulder from behind.

He turned around in surprise. A little boy stood behind him. Trunks noticed that he was holding something.

"What do you have there?" He asked the boy.

The boy now held out something that looked like ...

'A letter? 'Trunks thought.

"Is that for me?" He asked the boy.

This nodded.

"By whom ..." Trunks wanted to ask, but the boy pressed the piece of paper into his hand and ran away.

Trunks slowly unfolded it and read.

'Thank you,' it said.

'Did she write this letter? 'Trunks thought immediately.

He turned the note over.

'Tonight. 21 clock. In the park.'

Trunks was totally nervous. At last he would see her again. It was all like a dream. Trunks prayed never to wake up.

It was now exactly 8:55 p.m. He had just five minutes to get to the agreed meeting point.

'Then I'll probably have to fly again,' he thought and disappeared out of the open window.

In a few minutes he had reached the park. It was not very big and therefore easily manageable. The girl didn't seem to be there yet.

'Am I too early? 'Trunks thought, but the next moment he saw it.

Arrows, there were arrows on the road. Alongside it was written 'This way'.

Trunks did as he was told and followed the arrows. About twenty yards further on, the arrows pointed to the right. Next to it was written in large letters: 'It is not far anymore'. After another twenty meters, 'Go! You have me right away '.

After another 40 meters, Trunks had reached a staircase that led to a kind of basement.

On the wall next to a large arrow pointing downwards: 'I'm down there. Search for me'.
