Mr. Satan got all the credit and Son Goten wanted to challenge him. He had trained with Gohan to be strong enough to defeat Mr. Satan. He even became SSJ in the training match against Gohan. Suddenly Trunks shows up.
"I'll fight him too!" Shouted Trunks.
"This is MY fight!" Shouted Son Goten.

3 weeks had passed since Trunks showed up and Son Goten had become quite strong.
"I have a suggestion," Trunks said when she was back at the C.C. were.
"Namely?"
"We play scissors, rock paper!"
"No, that's boring! We fight! Whoever wins can compete against Mr. Satan!" Suggested Son Goten, "but I warn you! I have trained with Son Gohan!"
"So what?" Said Trunks, less surprised, "I was on vacation with Bulma and Vegeta, and -"
"How? Vegeta was there too?"
"Indeed. And I tell you, I've made a lot of progress!"
"That's what I'm an SSJ for!"
"I've been for a long time! How long haven't we seen each other? 2 years? I was only gone for 2 months, but you haven't visited me for a long time. Plus I've been training in the GR in the last few weeks!"

Immediately he got up again and fired an energy discus that hit Trunks in the stomach area because he wasn't paying attention. Trunks was already quite weakened and fired a series of energy balls with his last strength, which Son Goten easily avoided.
"You probably only trained for strength!" Shouted Son Goten mockingly.
That was too much of a good thing. Trunks screamed as loud as he could and became SSJ 1. He immediately teleported behind Son Goten and hit or kicked him around. Now Son Goten was also an SSJ. He held on to Trunks, who released himself easily because he was so angry. Now he had Son Goten and hit him hard in the face, so that the blood spat and fell down, forming a crater. He turned back again.
Trunks struck out for the final flash, he had gathered enough energy again.
"Final ... FLASH!"
Son Goten could hardly move, but he didn't want to give up either when a ball of energy flew towards him. So he took his last strength and countered with a small ki ball. The two energy balls met and there was a huge explosion (I don't just let Goten lose, I should have a good reason). Trunks stopped moving and Son Goten was also at the end of his strength. The first attempt to get up again, Son Goten failed, but the second time he stood up to some extent. But he fell down again immediately. The decisive fight had ended in a draw, right? No. Son Goten was not yet passed out, but he did not move. Then an idea occurred to him: he still had a magic bean with him.
'No, that would be unfair,' he thought, 'but if I give Trunks one too ...'
He did that too. First he ate one and then he put one in the mouth of the unconscious Trunks.He moved Trunk's jaw so that he chewed it up. He was back on his feet immediately. The fight could continue.
Both were a bit weakened, but at least it was about the fight against the anti-champion!

When he was already quite weak on the ground, Son Goten flew towards him at top speed, paying attention to Trunks movements. The latter, however, moved a little to the side and Son Goten could no longer change direction. A rather weak Ki beam came towards him from the side, which he unfortunately only noticed too late. Trunks now stood on their feet again and they beat and kicked themselves as best they could.Everyone had to take a few blows, but after a while Son Goten decided to go on the defensive. Now Trunks really didn't meet anymore and they parted again. Then Trunks suddenly landed in the next tree.
'What was that? ', he thought, but before he could think about it any more, a ball of energy came towards him.
Trunks dodged and fired a KameHame-Ha in the direction of where he felt Son Goten's aura, but he was somewhere else again and called (as SSJ):
"Came ..."
