All those present were visibly amazed at the enormous speed and super punch of Maladan. He was still standing in the center of the circle and his modern combat suit with the brown belt shone in the sun. Vegeta got up after seconds of indecision and wiped his bleeding lip with his still white glove. Anger and horror were reflected in his face. You could literally see how he was seething and his anger would easily have been enough to cross the SSJ3 border. He had to make an effort to remain an SSJ (which he had become in the meantime).
"Tough, but a good defense won't do you any good either". Said Maladan, knowing full well that this would fuel Vegeta even more.
Vegeta now had to get rid of his accumulated energy somewhere and did this by firing thousands and thousands of small energy balls at Maladan and covering the entire battlefield in a huge cloud of dust.After the smoke had subsided, Maladan was seen standing there in a small, blue energy shield and asked:
"Well, Grandpa, have you vented again?". (This sentence will find a deeper meaning later)
Vegeta just smiled maliciously and at the same moment he attacked Maladan like mad. But since Vegeta just blindly tried to hit Maladan with his fists without any major tactics, Maladan could easily dodge without using his hands. Maladan used one of the bad defensive positions of his opponent to kick the knee who had washed himself. Vegeta flew high in the air and Maladan teleported over his opponent to send him back to earth with a violent punch. To Maladan's astonishment, however, he only hit a mirage and instead of shooting Vegeta to the ground, the same thing did with him. But Vegeta didn't use his fist for this, but a hardening Final Flash.The energy beam with Maladan at its end raced towards the bottom of the ring at a tremendous speed and hit in a huge explosion. After the dust cloud had subsided, Maladan stood on the ring floor with a grim expression on his face. From his clothes you could see that this attack had not left him without a trace. However, Maladan first had to watch Vegeta race down from the sky and send energy balls at his opponent every 1.5 seconds. Each of these energy balls would have been strong enough to wipe out a big city. The ring looked accordingly, because Maladan dodged skillfully and did not allow a hit. An exchange of blows developed that was now less monotonous. Vegeta, who could now have a clear thought again, proceeded, as was his way, with tactically clever attacks again. Maladan was amazed that it wasn't so easy for him to dodge a lot of Vegeta's attacks and he even had to take a few hits.When he was even pushed to the edge of the ring by his opponent, Maladan had to take to the air to give himself a short respite. However, Vegeta surprised everyone with a very well-known technique from Son Goku. A yellow glow formed around Vegeta and suddenly his strength and especially his speed increased enormously. Similar to the Kaioken, it was now possible for him to send the completely surprised Maladan to the ground. But he had no problems catching the fall. Still under the influence of the Kaioken or a similar technique, Vegeta teleported behind Maladan and kicked him in the back. Maladan then flew back to heaven where an unpleasant surprise was waiting for him. He saw how Maladan's body was about to collide with the energy ball when Vegeta was amazed to discover that it was an illusion (!). Not Maladan flew towards the energy ball but only its illusion and behind it the completely unsuspecting Vegeta who was now only able to avoid his own attack. Son Goku then deflected the energy beam because otherwise it would have fallen on the assembled team. After this duel ended without a hit, Maladan and Vegeta faced each other again in the ring. On both faces you could see that the other had not counted on the strengths of his opponent. Vegeta now transformed into an SSJ2 and went on the attack. He was supposedly stronger than Maladan now, but significantly slower. He couldn't land a hit at first and Maladan smiled at him for his tactical mistake when Vegeta surprisingly landed a direct hit against Maladan's temple, who was now a bit dazed and was beaten up by Vegeta (who was now SSJ again) according to the rules of the art.In the middle of the air, Maladan slowly came to his senses again and realized that Vegeta had already positioned himself behind him with good prospects. In his hands Vegeta was already carrying a powerful ball of energy that Vegeta had dubbed the Big Bang. That hit would have been the end for young Maladan. What happened now happened so quickly that none of the audience could follow (Vegeta told them everything later). Vegeta was just about to fire his super attack at very close range when Maladan struck with his supposed belt (!). He hit the completely surprised Vegeta with full force like a whip in the face whereupon he rushed to the ground and hit painfully.
The crowd waited in amazement for Vegeta to recover and get up, which he did. Both opponents, badly marked, were now facing each other again in the ring for the decisive round. Vegeta smiled and said:
"That this happened to me right now".
None of the audience could follow and so Son Gohan asked:
"What do you mean Vegeta, what can happen to you?".
"An los Maladan show us your little secret, they'll all find out anyway."
All eyes were now on Maladan. He smiled when suddenly his supposed belt ... moved !. It wasn't a belt but a tail wrapped around the tailie like Vegeta had done when he first arrived on earth.
It took the audience a while to understand what Vegeta already knew and what he was allowed to experience painfully. Maladan was definitely a .. SAJAJIN !. And the fact that he didn't have to turn into an SSJ to keep up with Vegeta proved what kind of reserves this boy still had. Everyone was now feverishly wondering where this unknown Sajajin could come from, but these deliberations were interrupted by Maladan himself:
"Respect Vegeta to defeat you I would have to reveal too much of my strength here, but since there is someone I want to do this favor in the finale (serious look at Pupurin) I have to use a very nasty technique - you wanted to it is no different ".
Thereupon Maladan demonstrated his enormous speed again by teleporting himself behind Vegeta and performing an unusual hand edge blow. He put his hand behind his right shoulder on his back, just as if he were about to draw his sword. Then the hand shot out from under some contortions that could not be perceived in detail and hit Vegeta's neck with all its force. This much immediately as if struck by lightning and writhed in pain on the ring floor. After a few seconds he felt a kind of stiffness and Vegeta, who could still speak, was no longer able to move. Maladan said to the shocked Vegeta:
"I know what damned pain it is, but to defeat you" more gently "I would have to give about 20%, but I don't want to reveal that yet, please forgive me."
Vegeta was counted and immediately relieved of his torments with the help of Magic Beans.Maladan refused his Magic Bean and sat in the shade of a tree. Vegeta now reported to all the other participants of his fight and the all-encompassing stiffness that this blow and the pain it caused. A lively discussion ensued and everyone agreed that the statement of not even 20% combat strength could well be correct. After about 12 minutes, the referee said the intermediate status after the first round, which calmed the mind again:
