Chapter: darkness

Hello. This is my first FF and I hope you like it. It would be nice if you didn't tear it up in the air right away *

In any case, the planet Vegeta was not destroyed in the story and the Saiyajins are still alive.

I wish you much fun.

Vegeta yawned heartily. Once again he was bored. "That gets more and more boring from day to day," he remarked, while he watched Nappa, his only friend and constant companion, as he shoveled up the fire that they had lit a few hours ago in view of the falling dusk . He was anything but skilful, which made the young prince frown. However, he was silent. At least that way he didn't have to get his fingers dirty.

His thoughts were probably reflected only too clearly on his face, because Nappa stared at him for a brief moment, almost hurt.

"What is it?" Vegeta asked coolly. A smug expression appeared on his face. "After all, I am the most powerful warrior in the universe!"

"Your father is the most powerful warrior in the universe," replied Nappa unmoved. "But one day you will surely take his place and rule over our planet. But until then, until you are just a Saiyan on a conquering course."

Vegeta sighed. Yes ... conquests. Butcher. How it all bored him. If he was fighting, of course not. Then he enjoyed every single second. He loved the challenge. To his regret, they haven't existed for a long time ... His toys just always broke too quickly.

“We can leave.” The giant finally managed to completely smother the embers. He seemed almost proud of his work.

"Good. Oh, Nappa ... what was the name of this planet?"

"Troson," answered the question in monosyllables and made a grimace - probably because he had not received any praise for his efforts.

He doesn't expect any recognition from me just because he poked around a little in the ground - Vegeta thought indifferently and arbitrarily pointed in one direction. "So to the west!"

"How do you know that there is west?"

"Quite simply, I'm a prince, am I not?"

"Yes, but -"

"And that means that I can decide where the cardinal points are on a planet. It's that simple."

Nappa growled unwillingly. Then the two Saiyajin rose into the air and flew in the direction in which the west had to be as of today.

They didn't speak a word to each other. Only when Vegeta spotted a few largely scattered lights far below did he break the silence. "What kind of creatures actually live here?"

"All sorts of animals should be here. Starting with mindless beasts, up to some so-called exegetes." He immediately made a defensive gesture. "Just don't ask me what that means!"

"An exegete is a interpreter, a prophet," explained the prince with a fake noisy sigh and started to land. Nappa followed him.

They were on a dark street. Only here and there were foul-smelling torches burning, which, although they gave hardly any light, turned their surroundings into black, swirling shadows. Vegeta was barely able to say a few times whether something was actually moving there. He activated his scouter and let his gaze wander quickly but thoroughly. Nothing. And absolutely nothing! He hastily turned once in a circle. There was no trace of Nappa. "That's impossible," he grumbled and called out the name of his comrade a few times. No Answer.

Impatiently, he crossed his arms over his chest and looked around again. It stayed that way. He was alone.

"That costs us valuable time!" He shouted angrily when his ears suddenly heard a strange noise. Over him. Slowly he looked up at the starless sky. Then he saw her ...
