Fanfic: Der Kampf um die Königswürde-Teil 6

Chapter: The fight for royalty-part 6

And here now part 6.

Then the time came. The arrival of Vegatta's brother was announced in the large ballroom.

"His Highness, Prince Vegeta, son of King Vegeta and Queen Burai with his family!"

The gates to the hall opened and first Vegeta entered the great hall with Trunks at his side. Both now wore the traditional clothing of the Sayajin rulers, a white battle vest with the blood-red family crest and the cape. With his right hand Vegeta guided his companion who was walking next to him. Bulma felt how proud her son was that he was allowed to walk at his father's side, like a future king. And Vegeta also enjoyed living like in the old days.

"Look, Dad! Don't they both look great?" asked Son-Goten, who were already seated at the large table. Goku nodded. He too had chosen traditional clothing, just like his son. Although he did not grow up among the Sayajin, he felt a close bond with these people.

"He really is a prince from head to toe!" Goku smiled. "And Trunks doesn't look bad either."

Vegeta took a seat on his mother's right, Trunks and Bulma on his left. Vegata's place was on your mother's left.

Then the food was served.

"Son-Goku! Remember! You are in high society here! So don't gobble up your food like that, but eat properly!" Bulma whispered to him.

"Of course! I don't want to embarrass myself and Vegeta!" he grinned. So he first observed the eating habits of the other guests and adapted himself to them.

After dinner, Vegatta got up and a gong was struck somewhere. All those present fell silent.

"Dear guests, my queen, members of the court! We have gathered here today to celebrate a happy event: the return of my brother, Prince Vegeta!" she began with your speech. "My long search was successful and I found him on a world called Earth, where he has lived for many years with another of our people.Kakarott, the son of Bardok! Both of them have already done a lot of deeds in their new adopted home and saved them from doom more than once! They are true sayajins! So let's have a toast to our two homecomers! Cheers to Prince Vegeta! Cheers to Kakarott, the son of Bardok, our hero, who fought for our old homeland until the very end! "

Everyone in attendance rose and raised their cups.

"Grrrmmblll ... always Kakarott!" Vegeta growled softly.

"What are you complaining about again! They say like father like son! Even a simple warrior can be a hero!" Bulma whispered to her partner.

"High Prince Vegeta! High Kakarott, the son of the great Bardok!"

"Well, at least I'll be called first ..."

"Unfortunately, Parduk, the only survivor of the last great battle for Vegeta, cannot be present today because he is not feeling well. His old injuries are troubling him again. But he sends us his greetings and is looking forward to welcoming Bardok's son to his property soon. "Explained Vegatta.

Later, after the banquet, the Queen asked Bulma to come to her. Vegatta was also present in your private rooms.

"I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, Bulma, for taking care of my son and making him a proud father."

"I'm honored, Your Highness. It just sparked between us. Vegeta took a long time to figure it out and understand it, but I helped him and together we made it."

Bulma had brought two photo albums which she was now showing to the Queen and Vegatta.

"This is Trunks when he was only two days old."

"My nephew was a cute little button!" noticed the sayajin princess.

"Well-and this is the only photo of Vegeta with his son. We took that at the hospital.Don't be surprised at Vegeta's serious face, but he just didn't want to smile! We were lucky that he even had his picture taken! In any case, he was present at the birth and did not leave my side until I was released! "

"A firm proof that he loves you." Queen Burai smiled.

"And he loves trunks. He just doesn't show it because he's too proud to do it!"

"He's like his father! He was just as proud a warrior! And only when we were completely among ourselves did he show me his true feelings."

The next day Vegeta started his combat training.

"This is the training room in which you can let off steam to your heart's content! Do you see those long towers there in every corner? These are the absorbers. They form an invisible force field on the walls that swallows up all energy attacks that have gone by, and they in turn for them." the generation of the absorption force field is used. " explained Vegatta. "So nothing can break!"

"Hey, great! Do you hear me, Kakarott? We can take this to the max!" grinned Vegeta.

"But with caution! I only brought three magic beans!" remarked Goku gravely.

"Magic beans?" asked Vegatta.

"A miracle plant! You eat one and immediately have your full energy again and all wounds heal in the shortest possible time! I want to save them for your decisive battle!"

"Do you have something like that on earth?"

"Yes, but they only grow in the quince tower at Master Quince! And there are always only a few of them."

"I understand."

"The absorbers are a great invention! And I think it's great that you sent me the plans for the system! Then Vegeta can also draw on the full at home!" said Bulma.

"This is where the control panel for the gravitational setting is located." Vegatta explained to her brother. "Do you still need an opponent to train or do you two do that all the time?"

"Just me and Kakarott!"

"Of course. The best against the best!"

"Grmmm ..." Vegeta growled angrily.

"There is one more thing I would like to know. You have broken away from so many old traditions! Why haven't you also abolished the duel for royal dignity?" asked Goku.

"Because it is one of the cornerstones of our society. In spite of everything, we still believe that what belongs only to the strongest of the royal family to rule. And this is always clarified in advance. You know: the fight belongs to a Sayajin like the stars to the universe! And don't worry. There will be no fighting until death! Only until an opponent gives up or is knocked out. " replied Vegatta.

"Isn't succession to the throne a matter of birthright? With us, the first-born is always the heir to the throne." noted Bulma.

"It is our custom that only the strongest prince or princess becomes ruler. Age does not matter. And that is why a duel among the direct descendants of the reigning rulers will decide who will be the new leader of our people when the time has come for a new king or queen! "

"Oh man! Kakarott, you are and always will be a wimp! How can you question the struggle for royal dignity? That's Sayajin tradition!"

"I'm sorry, I'm not so into tradition!"

"You can tell!"

"Then I wish you all a lot of fun - and don't do it too hard!"

Grinning, Vegatta and Bulma left the two of them alone.

Vegatta even had something for Trunks and Goths so that the boys wouldn't get bored.

"Kitsu will take you to our youth training camp. You will definitely like it there and share experiences." she said, pointing to a young Sayajin warrior from your bodyguard.

"Oh yes!" shouted the two boys in unison.

"Well, come along, you two. Should we take a vehicle or can you fly?" asked the sayajin.

"Of course we can! Let's just fly there, it's more fun!" called Trunks.

"As you wish, Little Highness. Follow me!"

The training camp was a bit outside of the city in a green area.

The sayajin landed with his young guests in front of the entrance to the main building.

"Greetings, Master Tarok!"

"Ah-Kitsu! What brings you here?"

"I'm bringing you two young guests! The Queen's grandson and his friend, the grandson of Bardok!"

"Ah, I heard of your arrival! Welcome!"

"Hello, good afternoon! My name is Trunks and this is my buddy Goten."

"I am Master Tarok, the director of this camp! The best warriors on our planet train and live here! And these are not just Sayajin! Anyone who passes the entrance examination can attend this boarding school!"

"I'll pick you up again tonight." said the sayajin from the bodyguard.

"All right." Trunks nodded.

"What about the princess's bodyguard, Kitsu?"

"I have nothing to complain about. I will soon be promoted for good work, master!"

"I congratulate you! -You know, Kitsu was one of my students. One of the best of his year! That's why he was allowed to serve as the sovereign bodyguard!"

"Really? Congratulations, buddy!" called Goten.

"I have to go back to the palace, master."

"See you tonight, Kitsu!" Master Tarok nodded and the young warrior flew off towards the capital.

"Then come with me. I'll give you a class today. By the way, I have the group your age for class! That works out well. Do you see the others over there? These are the candidates for the next final exams." Master Tarok explained, pointing to a group of young people who were busy doing warm-up exercises.

"Reminds me a little of daddy's training." noted Trunks.

Then they entered the building.

"Is Trunks an Earth Name?"

"Yes, Master! Just like Son-Goths. But I also have a Sayajin name. Only I hardly use it because I live on earth." noticed the boy.

"And what is it?" asked Tarok.

"Chiad."

"Oh! That's the name of a famous warrior! Then we will call you Prince Chiad Trunks."

"Hey, that sounds good! Almost like Goths!" laughed Trunk's friend. "Uhh, tell me, do I have to address you as Prince or
