Chapter 7: The Legend of the Dune

The room was quite big. On one wall was a huge four-poster bed with a red sky and curtains like that. They were raised. Opposite was a large dressing table with a huge mirror above it. The fire in the fireplace a few meters from the bed was reflected in it and lit the room a little more. It was still night and the crescent of the moon shone through the window front. The windows were large and reached the floor. One of them turned out to be a double door that gave access to the balcony that spanned the entire side of the palace. It was open and the white, wafer-thin curtains became a toy for the light breeze that blew through the window. The atmosphere was eerie. Not least because of the strange light that seemed to emanate from the chain on the chest of drawers.

Startled, she straightened up, her eyes wide. She had had a strange dream, she could remember every detail, every word. To the woman who looked like an angel, with floor-length white hair and serious black eyes. A strange light had shone out of her and suddenly she had smiled. "My child, my dear child!" - "Mother?" it was almost a whisper. The woman smiled again and nodded. "Yes, it's me. As I can see, my decision was not wrong. The old woman taught you everything and laid all the prerequisites for absolute perfection. Your powers have awakened. Remember your childhood and your time when you with your master, you will need everything! " the smile suddenly disappeared and a sad look appeared in her eyes instead. "A great danger is approaching. You are needed, Dune! Remember your task! You have one more year to perfect your arts and you should make good use of them. Be obedient and show respect for your teacher, even if it is difficult for you." falls.Because it will, undoubtedly a quality that you have of your father! "She smiled dreamily when she thought of him. Diana only had it open-mouthed in her mother's face. The first time that she saw her mother consciously but she knew it was her. She had felt it. The woman's face had changed once more before she had spoken again.

"Beware of him, he is stronger than you will initially believe. He will trigger feelings in you. But always be aware that he is not showing you his real face. He is a real monster.

Protect your friends because without them you will never make it. Dune, my child, be careful, I am waiting for you and I pray that the gods will protect you.

Wake up, Dune and meet your teacher, he's already waiting for you! "Then the picture was blurred and she was awake.

Now she was still sitting in this bed and staring straight ahead.'Where am I here', then it hit her like lightning: the thief, how she got lost in the forest and how suddenly this man had appeared who seemed so strangely familiar to her. Looking around the strange room, her gaze suddenly fell in the mirror. She froze. This woman sitting there on the bed wasn't the one she usually saw in the mirror. She got up and went closer to the mirror to look at herself. She pinched herself absent-mindedly and when she heard the stabbing pain she was shocked, so she wasn't dreaming! 'But wwiso, what happened to me? My beautiful hair! 'Everything had changed. It seemed to have grown quite a bit, at least four inches. She also no longer wore her jogging suit. Instead she saw a dress, which consisted of partly transparent light blue fabric. It was the same as what her mother had worn in her dream. The flowing fabric of the skirt reached the floor and was slit on the sides. The top was loose and sleeveless. Almost like the clothes worn by wealthy women in ancient Greece. The front and back were cut very wide and gave a good view of her bosom. She still seemed to be wearing her bra. The otherwise beautifully curled dark brown hair was shimmering, silvery and smooth. They came up to her waist and were held in place by a silver bangle. Her skin was strangely light, much lighter than before. 'I tormented myself in the sun for so long! What a waste of time! 'Only the shape of her face was the same as before. And her eyes, they were just as deep green as ever. A relieved smile played on her lips when she recognized herself in it. But despite the changes, she found that she looked pretty, very pretty in fact. She smiled again and suddenly discovered that something was missing from her neck. The smile faded and gave way to a puzzled expression. The chain, it was gone. 'Is that the reason for the changes? But how ... was he the one? Where is he anyway? '

The chain, which was still lying in front of her, completely overlooked her gaze once more roamed the room. 'The doors are open! 'Diana walked slowly to the double door and stepped onto the balcony.

Two deep black eyes looked into hers and it was again as if she were sinking into them.

Chapter 8: The Teacher

'She's changed again! Truly amazing. That she is awake means that her "metamorphosis" is complete, 'he couldn't help but grin as she looked at himself in the mirror. 'She forgot! ', The grin disappeared and he watched in surprise as she walked purposefully towards him. 'But her eyes! They are the same as before. ' Returning her penetrating gaze, he suddenly felt how all the anger that had built up over the years left him for a moment and peace settled in him.'She really has amazing power, and she doesn't even know it.' he stated and reappeared in reality.

"You're my teacher, aren't you?" - "Yes.", He growled in his usual way and turned away from her. He was surprised at his answer himself. 'What did I say again? ', but it seemed like the only correct answer. The first time he looked her in the eye, he had felt that his task was much more extensive than he had expected. Not only would he set her free, he would train her too. With his arms crossed as always, he looked down over the parapet to the ground.

"Who ... or what are you?" - "I am asking the questions here! It should better say who are you?", He did not look at her when he said that, or rather hissed. She had not even changed 10 sentences and she was already getting on his nerves with her questions. 'That can be cheerful! '. If there was one thing he didn't like, it was questions that concerned himself, that was nobody's business.

“Postpone it until tomorrow, okay?” - “Oops!” Diana turned around with a jerk and stared at the little boy in front of her. "Piccolo, you said yourself that she is still very weak. Please, Dune, sleep in first. We'll discuss that tomorrow, okay?", The little god smiled encouragingly at her. "Oh, who are you? You're cute! You're exactly like the grumpy bear here, aren't you?" The little one got a slight red tinge on his cheeks, and he was suddenly glad that it was so dark. Finally he smiled. "Yes, we are Namekians. The Grumpy Bear" Piccolo gave an angry growl. “My name is Piccolo and my name is Dende and I am God.” Diana stared at him in surprise. This noticed the expression on her face and had to smile.

"Enough!" Said Piccolo, breaking the uncomfortable silence. Together they went back into the room. Only now, in the light, did Piccolo and Dende see the full extent of their change.'She's a real beauty,' thought the little Namek and couldn't take his eyes off her. Diana, or Dune, had recovered and sat on her bed. She leaned against the gable, pulled her legs up and put the blanket over it. Piccolo and Dende were about to leave the room when she asked them to wait. "I want to talk now. If I answer all your questions, will you tell me what's going on here?", She looked expectantly from one to the other. "As far as I'm concerned!", She smiled at the big Namek, who only stared at her grimly and rather reluctantly, or so it seemed, he returned, took a chair and sat down a few meters from hers with crossed arms and an evil look Bed away. He hoped the distance would lessen the effect of her gaze. Meanwhile, Dende sat cross-legged at the end of the bed and looked at her expectantly.

"Who are you?" the big one asked briskly, while the little one rolled his eyes and finally asked her to begin her childhood.
