Chapter: Vegeta-between pride and love part17

Face death in the eye

Vegeta waited patiently for a long time for his father to return. He sat in the docked spaceship for several hours in an exemplary manner. But at some point his concern and curiosity was greater than his patience. Carefully he pressed the button and with a "zzzit" the automatic door opened. On velvet paws he crept through the door into dark, deserted corridors. They were made of black and silver metal. Everything was highly technically wired and welded to each other, as it should be with the function of a good spaceship. The light was extremely subdued, but Vegeta's black Saiya-Jin eyes could still see everything. Guided by his intuition, he scurried through the corridors like a phantom. The spaceship was brand new, he only knew the room he was in and the direction to the exit via the hatch, but that didn't help him either. So he wandered aimlessly through the corridors, driven by his childish fears, his curiosity and his inspirations, he quietly walked the corridors with caution. His subtle senses perceived every sound, movement and shadow, the young Saiya-jin preparing for a fight. His father a proud and mighty warrior, his elite troop no one had returned. He prepared for the worst, but the hard-boiled little Saiya-Jin was also plagued by fears. When he suddenly arrived at a dead end, in front of him was a huge door, "decorated" with important mechanisms. Vegeta stood with his 5-year-old brain trying to understand the structure and construction of the door. There was a red button next to the steel door, but was it to open or for an alarm? He thought briefly, the mind of a Saiya-Jin ordered everything to be constructed as simply as possible, but to use it in a diverse and effective manner, after which the door should open when you press it. But what if this new construction included security and the spaceship triggered an alarm. The young Saiya-Jin could not answer for that, because his father might not be able to carry out his mission due to the alarm, he did not want to be to blame for it.So he pointed his finger at that, he hesitated. What if the technology in the door he was destroying triggered an alarm or an explosion? He followed the struts of the cables and looked for as free a place as possible, an energy beam jerked out of his finger and burned a large hole in the steel door. After he had burned a hole in the door that was so big that it would fit through, he went 1 step back, put his index and middle fingers together, bent the rest and then telepatically pulled out the burned-out steel disc with movements of the fingers. He quietly placed it on the floor in front of him and slipped through the hole. He was now in Freezer's spaceship, designed completely differently from that of the Saiya-Jins. It had a basic white interior and everything was brightly lit. The young prince felt uncomfortable, but his feelings drove him on a search. He kept hearing steps, voices and machines, he scurried through the long corridors of the spaceship with the utmost caution. The concept wasn't difficult to understand, however. The spaceship was oval in shape, as was the main corridor in it, every 10 meters a corridor led into the interior of the control center. Little Saiya-Jin had been able to hide himself well with many tricks up to now, and he had already had many disgusting figures in armor and weapons running around, probably the patrol. However, he did not notice anything that gave an indication of the existence of his Lanz people, when he suddenly saw an arm weapon, he quickly ran towards it and looked into the eyes of a dead comrade. With a shock in his veins, he walked a few meters, the blow hit him. Several of the soldiers, his father's elite unit, all lay dead in front of him. Her empty glassy eyes stared at the Saiya-Jin. Her hat was covered in soot, burned. Cut and blast wounds adorned her clothing and body. Vegeta flinched, the shock written on his face, his hands trembling and his big, horrified eyes stared at the corpses of the Saiya-Jins.
