FOREIGN WORLD 18
The wedding celebrations should begin at 12.00. The sun rose slowly and the morning was still dawning slightly. The room in which Chichi was now alone was still dark. Chichi had been roused from her sleep by the soft squeaking of the door. However, she was wide awake in seconds when she realized that Kakarott was no longer next to her. With a slight sigh, she got up and pulled the curtains back to let the dawn into the room. Then she opened the window and enjoyed the freezing cold and fresh morning air. She took a few deep breaths and thought about what had happened the previous evening. She was afraid, yes, she was afraid that something much worse would happen that day, the day of her wedding. But then she shook her head vigorously as if she wanted to shake all the bad thoughts away. She would pull this off, yes and nothing would happen. She leaned out the window one last time and enjoyed the fresh morning air. The dawn glittered in the meadows and it was snowing! Yes, it was actually snowing. That made Chichi smile. She loved the snow and if it continued to snow like this, everything would be covered in the white splendor in the evening. She felt like she was in a fairy tale. She was getting married, yes, and it was snowing on the best day of her life.To warm up, she stroked her bare arms, but that didn't help and she closed the window with a heavy heart. She took the blanket that hung over the nearby chair and put it around herself. Then she sat on the windowsill and watched the snow fall to the ground. In just a few hours she would marry him, him: the man she was expecting a child from, the man she loved above all else, but unfortunately also the man who, completely ignorant, put her in danger. But now she didn't care, no one would prevent this wedding - no one! At first she didn't feel at home in this palace, on this planet. But he had helped her settle in here. Yes, she was finally home!
So she sat at the window for a few hours until there was a knock on the door.
"Yes please," Chichi replied nervously when Bulma finally entered. "It's Chichi, I think we should get you ready slowly. Your wedding starts in two hours.Chichi just nodded in response.
First, Bulma sent Chichi into the bathroom and let her in a hot tub. "And how did you sleep?" Bulma asked her friend with a smile. Chichi smiled back. "So-so," she replied, making Bulma laugh. “Believe me, I felt the same way.” Bulma thought of her own wedding to Vegeta and couldn't help but sigh. Chichi looked up in amazement. "Is something wrong Bulma?" Chichi asked her friend. Bulma didn't want to worry her friend unnecessarily before her wedding, so she smiled and shook her head. "But not, how do you come up with it? I just couldn't sleep so well yesterday, that's all." She answered hastily and Chichi smiled encouragingly at her. "It'll be fine" was the only thing Chichi replied. Bulma thought while scrubbing Chichi's back. "Ouch" she suddenly shouted. "Oh, please excuse me," replied Bulma when Chichi rubbed her sore back. Then Chichi continued to get ready while Bulma gathered all the things she needed. When Chichi finally came out of the bathroom, she was already wearing her snow-white underwear, which harmonized perfectly with the dress. Skillfully played, she bowed to Bulma, who then began to giggle. However, she collected herself relatively quickly and pushed Chichi to her antique chest of drawers with the large mirror in front of it. There Chichi sank down on the velvet upholstered chair and Bulma began to do her hair for the wedding. In the meantime, the two had just under 75 minutes left and the time seemed to fly by. The clock was working against them. Bulma tried to pull up Chichi's hair, but she couldn't quite succeed. Chichi's hair was fine as silk and now reached almost to her waist.Chichi could often get quite angry, but when she sat there so peacefully, Bulma always reminded her of an angel and that since she was little.

Bulma had just turned 8 and was walking in the nearby park. She was looking for friends. She had never really had anyone to play with her. Her father was too busy with his inventions and her mother sometimes had time, but otherwise all she had in mind was her flower beds. She was always alone. There wasn't a child to be seen in the park either, when Bulma was about to turn around, she saw a little girl sitting on a park bench. Her clothes were easily torn and she was crying. Her hair was blowing slightly in the wind. Back then Bulma decided to check on this girl ...

Bulma decided to just leave Chichi's hair open. When Chichi noticed that Bulma loosened the clamps she looked around in amazement. But Bulma smiled at her. "It looks a lot better that way," she replied and Chichi just nodded. Then Bulma started working on her make-up. It should look subtle and that's why she only put on some mascara and a bronze-colored eye shadow and a pale pink lipstick.

Bulma went to the park bench and right at that moment the little girl looked at her with big sad eyes. " What happened to you?" Bulma asked the little girl and sat down next to her. "My parents ... They killed her! Just like that, just for a little bit of money!" the little one sobbed and threw herself into Bulma's arms. She was a bit puzzled at first but then hugged her. "I'm all alone now, I have no one anymore!" she kept crying. Bulma thought about it. If something like that happened to her! Oh god, she didn't want to think about that. "But maybe you are not alone, you can certainly live with me, then I am finally not so alone anymore."Said Bulma and the little girl looked at her with big eyes." Are you serious? "She asked and Bulma just nodded with a smile. At that moment sparks were spraying in the little one's eyes .....
Spark of joy ..

When Bulma was finally satisfied with the makeup, she helped Chichi put on the dress. It was made entirely of white silk with long arms as it was winter. It was fitted and nicely embroidered on the sides. At the back a train of about 2 meters was attached and at the end Bulma handed her the veil and the small silk blanket so that she really didn't freeze. Finally Chichi looked at herself in the mirror and with tears in her eyes she turned back to Bulma. "Thank you" she breathed and hugged her friend.

"Thank you," said the little girl and threw herself into the arms of the older one. thought Bulma.

It was just like then, only now Chichi no longer looked like an angel who had fallen from heaven - No - but like an angel who was strong and nobody could harm him. An angel over whom Dende held his hands. Bulma hugged her friend again and then pushed her away from her. "Chichi, you look great ... like an angel!" she whispered to her friend. She just smiled gratefully at her. "I think it's time, otherwise we'll be too late. The children who hold the veil are waiting for us in front of the door," said Bulma and they both left the room.
Meanwhile, Kakarott and Vegeta were already in the ballroom. Kakarott could hardly hold back a grin and Vegeta looked at him conspiratorially. The guests were all already there, including Era. She was dressed entirely in black and was looking around for someone with hostility. Kakarott sensed that she was up to something and gave Vegeta a hint that he understood immediately.Immediately he ordered 4 guards to stand next to the table where Era was sitting. Fortunately, she didn't seem to have noticed anything and Kakarott breathed a sigh of relief. First he wanted to concentrate completely on his wedding to Chichi and only then on the present for his Chi! He slowly returned to his position right next to the altar.
Chichi and Bulma had meanwhile also arrived at the door and a guard asked if they were finished. Bulma brushed him off for a moment, however. "All right, Chichi?" she asked her friend one last time and when she nodded immediately with a smile she gave the guards a sign and the fanfares could be heard in the hall. For Bulma it was a bit of a bother to have to stand next to Vegeta but she didn't have time to think about it anymore because at that moment the doors were opened. The children behind them grabbed the train and then they entered the hall with typical sayajin wedding music. Everyone immediately turned towards the door, as everyone wanted to take a look at the bride first. Most of them nodded encouragingly to Chichi on the way to the altar, but she mostly only had eyes for Kakarott, who looked at her smiling. It wasn't an amused smile, however, no, it was an admiring smile that played on his lips. It was a long way to the altar and Chichi watched the guests out of the corner of his eye. She knew many of them well and also liked them, some she only knew by sight, others not at all. But then she discovered a person she knew only too well and hated like no one else in
