9. Shian gets started




The months passed at breakneck speed and almost a year had passed since the friends had last seen each other.


It was Shian's birthday in a few days and she only wanted two things from her parents: A party with the others - and a new battle suit!


Chichi was only too happy to agree to a party - she hadn't seen Bulma in that long and they hadn't called too often. So the party was a done deal - and Shian should also get the combat suit.


"I'm really looking forward to finally being able to have a chat with Bulma again!" Chichi was totally excited and scuttled through the house the day before the party and had 1000 things to do.


Shian and Goku - just like Gohan and Goten - had discreetly made off when Chichi got her cleaning mania.The four were in a clearing in the forest, exercising.


Goku took his daughter pretty hard, because her strength grew from day to day and she had to learn to control this strength.


"Ok Shian! Attack me!" Goku asked his daughter.


“Ok, papa!” Shian flew towards her father with a monkey tooth and kicked it with full force.


“Yes, that's good!” Goku blocked the kick and went over to the counterattack. But Shian also blocked her father's attacks with an ease that was terrifying.


“KA-ME-HA-ME-HAAA!” She fired a huge Kamehameha and for the first time Goku only managed to avoid it with difficulty. Gohan and Goten, who watched the two of them, could hardly shut their mouths again in amazement.


"That was on purpose, wasn't it Papa? You could have dodged faster, couldn't you?" Goten was stunned.


“He's right, Father? Or?” Gohan put on a worried expression. "That power, that's something I've never experienced - or at least not without turning into a Super Saiyan!"

Goku and Shian had ended their fight after this attack because she was exhausted after all. After all, she WAS barely four years old and shouldn't spend her birthday lying in bed asleep.


The four returned to the house, where Chichi was already waiting with dinner.


"Well, you loiterers? That you come home too? Hurry up and wash up! The meal is already ready!" Chichi cast a worried look at her little daughter. "Shian! You look exhausted! SONGOKU !! You shouldn't always overdo it with your training !!" she began to rant.


"Hey - I ..." Goku tried to defend himself, but Shian interrupted her father.


"I exaggerated myself! I used a kamehameha and put too much power into it ... it was my fault."


Chichi looked down at the little one perplexed. Finally she just shook her head and let it be.


After eating, Shian went to bed immediately to be fit for the next day.

In the kitchen, Chichi and Goku sat together and talked about their daughter's progress.


"Chichi, before we got married you fought yourself! You know how it is! She likes to fight and her strength grows from day to day! which SonGotens will surpass - and that without transforming into a Supersaiyajin! Nobody can even guess how much there is really in her and how strong she will become when she grows up! "


Chichi looked worriedly at her husband.


"I know she loves fighting as much as you do - she's just like you! But she's only four years old - how can a four-year-old girl have such power? When Shian was born, I thought she was a perfectly normal one Would become a girl - but the Saiyan legacy prevails in her even more than in our sons! I know that she has to learn to control her power - but please don't overdo it!You're welcome!!! "Chichi looked pleadingly at her beloved husband.


Goku took her in his arms. "I'll take care of our little princess. Don't worry! Come on, let's go to sleep - and tomorrow we'll just celebrate a happy birthday with our friends!"


Chichi nodded and so they finally went to sleep.






10. Guessing about Videl and Gohan




The next day the others came early and soon everyone was sitting comfortably in the garden and having a late breakfast.


Vegeta and Goku decided to go train with the kids as Shian insisted on inaugurating their new suit.


But Gohan didn't want to come with me.


"You just go - I'll pick up Videl!"


Chichi and Bulma smiled knowingly and even Goku and Vegeta (!!!) couldn't help but grin.


"Your elder is really crazy about the little one !!" said Vegeta.


Goku shrugged.


"Gohan has been very thoughtful lately.I think he has something special planned - but WHAT that is, you're asking the wrong guy! Come on, let's go, or Shian will still eat us! "


Vegeta grinned broadly. "Your little one has you in her little hand!"


"It's no different with you. You can see that you love Bra more than anything!" Goku growled good-naturedly.


"Paaapaaaa! Are you finally coming!"


Goku winced and only acknowledged Vegeta's raised brow with a smile.


"We're coming! Come on, Vegeta, otherwise Shian will dismantle something with impatience!"


Goku, Vegeta, Goten and Trunks quickly flew after Shian, who was moving at quite a pace.


In the meantime Gohan had arrived in Satan City and was sitting on Jindujun with Videl to speed up the way back a little. The two had been a couple for 5 years now and SonGohan had planned a very special surprise today.


He let the cloud land on a beautiful mountain lake. Videl looked at him in surprise.

"Why do we end up here, honey?"


Gohan blushed and silently led Videl to a rock and asked her to sit down.


Then he took a small box out of his pocket and sank to his knees in front of Videl.


"Hmm ... Videl, we've been a couple for 5 years now and ... uh ..." Gohan started to stutter out of sheer nervousness. "II-I was going to ... d-d-you ask ..." He took a deep breath and finally blurted out. "Videl, I love you more than anything! Would you marry me?"


Now it was out. Gohan carefully looked up at Videl. Silent tears streamed down her cheeks. Gohan was completely distraught.


"But Videl, what is it? Did I say the wrong thing? Oh please, I'm sorry !!"


Videl put his index finger gently on his lips and gently shook his head.


"But no you silly! I'm just ... sooo happy. Of course I want to be your wife!" Overjoyed, the two fell into each other's arms.Shivering, Gohan took her hand and put the engagement ring on her. Then he gave her the second ring and she put Gohan on him.


"Let's go to my parents. They'll all be wondering where we're staying for so long."


Videl nodded and they climbed back on Jindujun.


Meanwhile, Goku and Vegeta had caught up with Shian and reached the clearing.


"So, Shian! Who do you want to fight today? Choose it, it's your birthday after all!" said Goku.


"I can really choose who against? Then I'd like to fight Vegeta!"


Vegeta just stared at the little girl in disbelief. Trunks was the first to find the language again.


"Man, Shian, do you have a blast? You are still much too small for that! You never have a chance against my father in your life! You ..."


Vegeta silenced him with a wave of his hand.


“Before you get excited, first feel the ki of the little ones!” Shian had her aura no longer fully under control because of the excitement and let her ki flow for a moment.

Goku nodded to the two boys and they retreated to the edge of the clearing.


"I'm starting Shian!"


Vegeta released his aura and attacked the little one. This stood there without moving. But at the moment when she should actually be hit by Vegeta, he bounced back and looked at Shian in astonishment.


A glowing blue wreath of flames surrounded the small figure. Shian raised his head and looked him straight in the face.


Vegeta sucked in a sharp breath.


Shian's eyes blazed in an inner fire, they glowed deep blue, for a moment her whole body seemed to consist only of light. Then ... she sagged.


Goku ran horrified to his little one, but she straightened up again.


"What are you all looking at me like that? What happened? I didn't do anything!"


Vegeta and Goku looked at each other and nodded barely noticeably. That would be interesting ...


After this incident, Goku didn't want Shian to fight again that day, so they returned to Goku's house - besides, everyone was already hungry.(Saiyajins just * g *)


When they reached the house, Gohan and Videl had also arrived.


"What's the matter with you? You both are beaming up to your ears!" Chichi looked at the two questioningly.


Gohan grinned happily.


"We both want to tell you something. We have decided to get married this summer!"


"Oh SonGohan! That's great news! I'm so happy for you, Videl!" Chichi was completely beside himself.


"Congratulations, my son! Welcome to the family, Videl!"


Vegeta gave Goku a friendly slap on the shoulder and laughed.


"Well, then you might even become a grandpa soon!"


Laughing, Goku shrugged his shoulders.


Everyone celebrated happily the second happy event of the day: Gohan and Videl's engagement.


Because of the news, what was happening in the clearing was completely forgotten. But one day the dormant power will awaken.
