Vegeta would probably have continued for a while if Yoshi hadn't drawn attention to himself by letting a flame flare up in her mind. Goku and Vegeta turned around and saw that a large red dragon was standing across from Yoshi. They knew immediately that the red one hadn't come to chat. He was obviously wild revenge as they saw no other trainer. At that moment the red one stood on its hind legs and hurled a jet of flame at Yoshi. Yoshi didn't put up with that and the black dragon roared his anger about it uninhibitedly. (To this: Yoshi is always black.) Goku and Vegeta decided to move away a little to be on the safe side. It was dangerous to be so close to fighting dragons. The red one flared up a flame again but Yoshi dodged cleverly and countered with a blow of the claw that injured the red one on the shoulder.The red one hit Yoshi with his strong neck and Yoshi spat a ball of fire on the red one, which he managed to avoid. The red one flexed its wings and jumped off the ground. The black one didn't let that sit on him and also pushed himself off the floor. He attacked while still climbing. Vegeta was pleased. He knew that Yoshi was far superior to the much younger, red one in the air, because in the air Yoshi could best prove his experience and his agility. A few minutes later the red one fell with a crash and Yoshi was the winner. The black dragon landed gently on the ground and Vegeta patted him on the flank in praise. The dragon sent him a happy thought. Vegeta was reassured to see that Yoshi was uninjured except for a few scratches. However, Yoshi was hungry and tired. The dragon made this clear to him with a growl and a yawn. Yoshi lifted off the ground again to look for something to eat.Vegeta and Goku decided to follow him to make sure Yoshi wasn't making any nonsense.




Yoshi landed in a clearing in a forest near the western capital. This clearing was, so to speak, his home. He was always here when he wasn't with Vegeta. Vegeta had chosen this place because this forest was considered cursed and people rarely ventured into it. So Yoshi was undisturbed and didn't run the risk of being caught. There was plenty to eat here and a cave to sleep in was very close by. Yoshi had immediately started to eat and didn't notice that the two Saiyajins had left. They had decided to exercise a little too. They flew to the Capsul corp. The two were lucky, because Bulma was not at home and the two could train undisturbed. After a while, however, the two of them noticed that the training made them pretty hungry too. So they went into the kitchen to get something to eat.With dinner they sat in front of the television in the living room. There was just a commercial about a kite tournament that was going to take place on earth. "Don't you want to take part with Yoshi?" Asked Goku. "Why not actually?" replied Vegeta. The next moment someone unlocked the door. that someone was Trunks who just got out of school. Trunks entered the living room and a small blue dragon padded after him. Trunks didn't look happy. "What kind of a face are you, Trunks?" Goku wanted to know. "Oh! Hi you two! Blue followed me to school." "Well, he is very attached to you!" Vegeta said with a grin. "All well and good, but does that mean he has to follow me to school? That was totally embarrassing!" said Trunks and looked sternly at the little dragon. Blue made an "I-didn't-do-nothing-face". "Have you heard that a kite tournament is taking place on earth?" asked Vegeta. "No, I haven't. But what are you getting at?", Truks asked although he already knew the answer." We should both take part in it with our dragons! "" Mum won't like that! "" Let that be my concern. "" Do you think Blue is strong enough already? Bulma noticed that Vegeta was thinking about something and snuggled up against him. She pushed herself up to him and pulled him out of his thoughts with a kiss. "What are you thinking?" she asked. He put an arm around her and said, "Well, there is a kite tournament here in a month that Trunks and I would like to take part in." "But that's far too dangerous. You know I don't like these beasts." "I don't even know what you have against dragons. They are very friendly creatures." "I'll make you a suggestion! If you convince me of that, then I don't mind if you join in. Agree?" "Yes".Vegeta kissed her tenderly and she returned the kiss just as lovingly. She wrapped her arms around his waist and rested her head on his chest. He took her in his arms and they soon fell asleep.


At this point Bulma had no idea that her opinion about dragons would soon change ...
