Chapter: Piccolo and Arkani 28
Ok here is the penultimate part of my first FF! * happy * With part 1 I still thought I wouldn't do it for so long and now.
But somehow everything turned out differently than planned. Mijuki and Taya have a much bigger role than I actually gave them at the beginning. And Arkani a smaller one, I have to change that soon! * grumble *
Speaking of which, my second FF is called `very ordinary everyday problems ?! `and maybe I'll make a little Christmas special if you are interested. *G*
Slowly, very slowly, her eyes got used to the darkness. She lay on her back and felt the freezing cold around her. She also felt a throbbing pain in her wrists. Where am I? When she tried to get up the girl had to realize that all her strength had left her. What's wrong with me? Carefully she turned her head to one side and was startled at the large pool of blood in which she seemed to be lying.Suddenly her memories came back. She saw Mijuki who lured her into the deep forest and beat her up. Why? The Tokra tried again to straighten up, but it was not granted to her. Powerless, she dropped back to the floor. A rustling in the bushes, a disgusting, hungry growl and the outline of a skeletal demon slowly approaching them were the last things the terrified Tokra noticed before a deep darkness enveloped them again.
"Should this be my end? Piccolo!"
Damn it! I will never find it like that! Taya stopped and looked around. She hated the Tokra for having to run around in the middle of the night in a not necessarily safe forest because of her! “Oh Mijuki, where did you take her?” Desperate, she continued on her way.
Mijuki stood by the window and looked outside. She knew exactly where the Tokra was and she decided that she had to help her. Determined, she stormed outside.
Dende watched the girl who quickly disappeared into the forest. "Piccolo, I think I might have found a lead."
Mijuki rushed desperately through the forest. The way she had previously covered didn't seem SO long to her, but that must have been due to her irrepressible anger. Yes, she was blind with anger. She had had so much fun with Arkani. How could she have done that? About a kilometer behind her, two Namekjaners had great problems following Mijuki. "Damn Dende, this is about Arkani's life, why don't we just fly after Mijuki's aura?" "The forest is too dense! We'd lose her from above!" Dende looked sadly ahead. He didn't like the thought that Taya or Mijuki had anything to do with Arkani's disappearance, but what it looked like at the moment. But he liked the feeling of premonition that was spreading through his body even less.Someone was going to die that he knew for sure, he just couldn't tell who it would be.
Bloodshot eyes surveyed the dying body on the floor. He had already lost a lot of blood, but that didn't matter. The flesh was in pristine condition and shimmered in the moonlight. The brown hair and clothes were completely soaked from rainwater and blood, but that wasn't particularly important. He could already feel the metallic taste of blood in his mouth and the tender flesh between his claws. Full of anticipation, it knelt next to its feast and opened its mouth wide with its razor-sharp teeth, ready to sink into the body and tear away the last remnant of life when a sharp stone brushed its head. The demon looked up angrily. Another hit him in the eye. That was too much. With a high-pitched scream that made Taya and the Namekjaners sit up and take notice, he sat up and looked angrily at the one who had bothered him so boldly.
A young girl stood a few meters in front of him. She was breathing heavily, and in her left hand was clutching a half-inch branch. She stares angrily at the monster. Never, never would she let something happen to Arkani, especially not because of her. The demon looked once more wistfully at his "snack" and then stepped towards Mijuki. Taya, where are you now? I'm so afraid. I would love to throw the branch away and run home so I can hide under my covers. But it's as if that wasn't my body by sticking because it doesn't run away. He stops here and returns the monster's gaze. Do you remember? That kind of cattle attacked me back then. You wanted to help me, but you couldn't. The Tokra finally saved us. How ironic! The same situation, the same place but this time it's different.
Without any warning, she stormed towards her opponent. Clutching the branch to be able to stab at any moment.Mijuki did not reach the demon but her destination. A strong arm with three long claws dug into her heart. Gasping for air, she fell to the ground. It had all seemed like an eternity to her and yet it was only a few minutes. Minutes in which Taya had reached the clearing. Minutes in which Piccolo and Dende found Arkani. “Arkani!” Dende knelt by the Tokra and laid her head in his lap. The older Namekjaner had torn the demon beast to pieces with his devil's spiral and looked down carefully at his beloved.
