Peace

A ray of sunshine

shines through the clouds

on my face.

I look up,

enjoy the warmth

and close your eyes.

A gentle breeze caresses my skin,

about my hair,

and swirls it through the air.

I keep wondering,

about this beautiful silence,

only broken by the chirping of birds.

How beautiful peace can be ....
