Chapter: Children

Hi guys, this is Nikouki. I'm sooooo happy !! I have my own laptop now, so to speak ... Juhuuuu !! I want to sing and jump, and scream and dance! (Can't do all of that in the least, but ...) Judging by my current mood, this FF is going to be super funny, at least not sad. I can now work on the computer and no longer have to work on my homework, which is mostly done on the computer, in my room, which is usually climatically adapted to the outside temperature! Great, finally air-conditioned rooms, yeah! But before I fully talk to you guys, I better start ... one more thing, the story will probably consist of several parts and is about Vegeta 's childhood. In my story he has a little sister who I just put her on his neck and she's the real reason why Veggie is so good with children ... by the way, her name is Rhyanna, called Rhy-chan!

Have fun, your Nikouki-chan * smile *

Children

"Hey, Vegeta! How do you think Trunks are so funny? A baby is held close to the body, and not a meter away from it!", Bulma looked at Vegeta extremely angrily. How could you hold a baby away from you so dismissively? Awful! Even if you couldn't show any feelings, THAT was clearly going too far!

"I don't know ... should I keep him further away?", Vegeta was insecure, really insecure. How would he know if the little stink bomb wasn't dangerous?

"Vegeta ... I'm going to lose my nerve! You have to hold him close to the body. Babies need that!", Annoyed Bulma explained to Vegeta for the umpteenth time why babies need to be close to the body, and for the umpteenth time Vegeta got it nothing ...

"Why are you always so dismissive to the little one? In case you haven't noticed, he's your son too, not just mine!", Bulma continued her 'speak-or-die! '- Look at; it would nip the slightest attempt at recovery in the bud ...
"You don't really want to know ...", Vegeta didn't feel the slightest desire to talk about his past - he was very reluctant to talk about his past.

"Yes. I want to know. In a moment." Resistance pointless.

"All right. You won. I'll have to tell you about my childhood, that's why I dislike small children, even though SHE wasn't as small as Trunks is now ..."

"Come on! Aunt Cauli promised that she would teach me to fly!", Rhyanna was excited, so fidgeted like crazy and jumped in the air every few minutes.

"You don't learn to fly anyway. Have you forgotten? Pigs don't fly!", Her brother grinned smugly. Rhyanna made an ugly grimace at Vegeta, which confirmed his idea of his sister. He stuck out his tongue and slammed the door in the little girl's nose. Should she annoy someone else! He would have the whole day to himself if he didn't take the pacifier into town!He could train, all by himself, without his annoying little sister watching him with plate-sized eyes, could molt in the kitchen without Rhy-chan telling him to mom, didn't have to be nice to Pacifier Baby ...

"Vegeta! You're mean! I'll tell mom! You have to come with me, you know, I'm not allowed to go down to town alone!", A low voice tore the boy from his daily planning. Damn! So she wasn't gone yet.

"Then you were just unlucky.", Vegeta scornfully went to the window and jumped out with a leap. Today he would spend the day with his friends, without a pacifier baby ...

"Left me alone, Nona! He didn't take me with him!", Rhyanna had fled to her old grandmother in the south tower of the castle. She just couldn't be alone, then the little princess always started crying immediately. So now Rhyanna was sitting on her grandmother's lap, crying out. In the evening she would report to her parents about the 'bad big brother', as she always called Vegeta so lovingly.

In the surrounding woods, the four boys and the two twin girls sat well hidden under the mighty branches of the trees. Hardly anyone would be able to track her down here, only Cauli would find her here. Vegeta's aunt, like the queen, had grown up in the forest tribe. The mother of the two had died early, so Kairon, the lord of the forest people, had the girls through alone. Kairon had also determined whom his daughters had to marry, no ifs or buts. Maris, the younger of the two sisters, had been married to the king of the Sayajins because she was not entitled to an inheritance as leader of the whale people. This was due only to Cauli, the elder. So both girls had made a good match.

In his mother's home forest, the young prince was now sitting with his friends and playing 'Rhyanna'. Yet another game to illustrate his dislike for his little sister. You had to mimic sentences from the little princess, whoever came close enough to the correct pitch of the voice won.Vegeta evaluated the attempts of his friends. Kurait won almost always. The girl could imitate Rhyanna best, and unlike Tao, her older brother, Kurait didn't have to snort at every word. Sometimes Llynyah, the older of the twin girls, also won.

When the game was over, the six children went to the great fires of the forest people. Kairon would definitely have something edible for a grandson and his friends. On the way the children agreed on the next meeting, because it was not always possible for Vegeta to leave the castle. People raved about life in the palace, but none of them knew what it was really like. The duties of a prince were so much more important than those of ordinary warriors. But also so much more boring. Every few weeks Vegeta had to accompany his relatively strict father to some state meeting. Sometimes to make peace or to conclude a new trade agreement, more rarely to give another people the last chance to prevent a war.The king didn't always like it so much to be separated from his queen and little Rhyanna for many weeks and months, after all, Vegeta always had to go into battle with him.

Finally, after much thought, the date for the next meeting was set. Then Vegeta probably wouldn't be able to shake off his little sister - the wretched little burdock that stuck her nose into everything ...

Later in the evening the people from the forest folk sat together with Vegeta and his friends around one of the legendary big fires that the forest folk lighted for certain festivities. The children were often guests here, so they change the customs of this people. Kairon, Vegeta's grandfather, was a tall man with long, straight hair. The eyes and hair colors of the forest folk had faded a little from the constant life in the open air after many generations. Instead of the usual black hair and eyes of Sayajins, many people here had dark blonde hair and blue or brown eyes. The queen looked very much like her father, who sat proud and upright in front of the warming fire: dark blue eyes and dark blonde hair gave the queen's narrow, gentle face its beauty.

Now Kairon was sitting in front of this bright fire, the pitch-black clothing gave the leader of the forest people something sublime, but also made him look strangely distant. Kairon was an inscrutable person, mostly far from this world in his thoughts. Slowly the silluette of the crescent moon detached itself from the dark horizon in the west. It was getting late.

"Grandfather, I think I have to go slowly.", Vegeta grinned at his grandfather. As always, Kairon smiled his inscrutable smile. Nobody seemed to really know what was going on in Kairon, they 'really' knew himself. Not even Cauli and Maris.

In a hurry, Vegeta ran up the gently sloping road to the palace. In the pale moonlight, the pinnacles had a soft bluish tinge. There was almost something meek about the palace when Vegeta looked at it from afar. One could slowly guess what his mother found so beautiful about the building. Even the rather unfashionable city with its winding streets and alleys and the many battlements and turrets had something fascinating about it at night.

The portal was already closed. The guards at the great palace gate had strict orders not to let anyone in - not even the young prince. A faint suspicion arose in the boy. The king must have been very angry. In this state it was better to avoid King Vegeta ... But where should Vegeta go now? It was a long way to the forest people ...

"Hey Vegeta! Did Papa lock you out?" How do I know that disgusting voice? - "Yes, did he, why?" - "Oh ... it was my idea!", Ouch. "Oh no, I would never have thought of that in my life ..." - "You were always a bit limited ..." Well, wait ... "Do you think?"-" Yeah. "Stupid goose." And by the way ... Dad is raving about them like a sniffy rhino ... I think you can experience something tomorrow morning. ", Great. Thanks Rhyanna." I really wouldn't have thought of it ... "-" I say so. You're just pretty stupid. "How much I hate her." Well, we'll see you tomorrow, pacifier baby. "With his last remaining pride, Vegeta turned on his heel and went straight in the other direction. Pacifier Baby would pay for that.

"And next? What happened then?", Bulma sat on the half-broken kitchen chair and looked at Vegeta intently.

"I won't say yet." - "Why not? Spit it out. Come on!" - "No. I have to overcome myself first." - "Aha. Then overcome yourself faster." - "Ey, need for that." I have time! "-" Fine. But I want to know what happens next. Sure ?! "-" Fine, I told you that you won. I'll tell you more, soon. "-" No! You've got yourself overcome enough.Further, but suddenly. ", Vegeta got up and turned

to the door. "Let me go to the GR for a while, okay ?!"

I really hope that you enjoyed the first part of the FF. As you have probably noticed, this story required a completely different style of writing - it cost me some of my nerves. The second part will follow shortly, because this is the only place where the spice lies ... ^^
