Chapter: Foggy nights. 7th

Man, last time I was in such a hurry that I forgot the number 6 after "Foggy Nights" in the headline * sighing and shaking my head *

@Kira_w: Well, you will be right that nobody comes into the bathroom unannounced so quickly ... After all, they are all men who can do without surprising a young woman in the shower! * wide grin *

@ gray-eye: Before I thank you about your picking a question: When will your FF continue ???

So, and now on in the text. I guess I'd better keep the prayers to myself * lol * Because most likely they are not completely suitable for minors! (And I have a FF here that should be serious * cough *)

Anyway, at least we all know that Dende can't hear prayers ... right ?!

@ Paen777: I'm sorry if I really keep you guys waiting. (Like this time * sigh *), but when the work gets over my head, I can't concentrate on my FF as well. But I think it's great that you keep leaving me a picking office * beaming *

@Amiel: * grin * Yes, I can very well imagine what's rhyming in your head (and it's probably more horrible than anything I could ever write!) * Laughs * Well, after that part you're up then maybe a little disappointed. * gulp *

@ Aika-Angel: Yes yes, such a small, fine love story on the side is something fine * swarm * I think it's great that you seem to like Picco as much as I do ("Schlag ein" * gg *)

And it's also nice that you know the feeling of a lack of time ... but unfortunately I don't have the autumn holidays off. * yammer * (I'm already in training-> old box)

So, I hope I haven't forgotten anyone ... at least it continues now With foggy nights:

Part 7

Shivering, I pressed my arms against my upper body. Small drops of water pearled from my damp hair, fell softly, with a barely audible splash, onto a hard, woody floor. This time my dream world was not immersed in this steady, endless darkness! A dusty gray. It looked like the lonely glow of a street lamp in the middle of the black night. But this light glow was enough to see where I was. Next to me dark walls and right in front of my eyes a long narrow staircase. I was here in a big house whose owner, judging by the layers of dust, had died ages ago!

I looked carefully over my shoulder. Here too, just a ramshackle wooden wall! So there was only one way to go: up the stairs! With a slight inner shudder, I noticed that my current location was a trap with no means of escape, but maybe there were other paths at the end of the old stairs!

Slowly I stepped onto the first creaking wooden steps with bare feet, leaving damp prints on the dry floor. With every further step, the old boards bent a little lower under my toes.I got the terrible premonition that suddenly they would just give in and break through. But nothing happened!

Taking a deep breath, I pulled the fluffy bathrobe closer around my body. Somehow, if only a little bit, he gave me the feeling of security! A low, regular rustling mingled with the sound of the cracking stairs. I knew that it was my own bathrobe, the much too long fabric of which slid gently over the floor. Nevertheless, I felt this one noise so terribly that a cold shiver ran down my spine. It sounded like a cloak dragging across the floor! I tried to suppress it, but the rising fear took over my body more and more. Pulled me into their deep dark spell!

Several long strands of hair were sticking wet to my face, but I didn't mind. Soon the end of the stairs should be visible! Or?

Slowly, with a pounding heart, I stepped onto the next rotten steps ... Exactly at the same moment, far behind me, at the start of the stairs, there was a dull creak and crack. Was there anyone there? It couldn't be the dream guardian. This creature was floating and not touching the ground!

As the creaking grew closer and closer, I got the horrible feeling that an icy hand would wrap around my heart and squeeze the bloodstream with cold force.

The dull noise, hard, heavy shoe soles, stepping on the hard wood in a steady rhythm, echoed in my ears! Came up to me!

This indescribable panic that seized me now made me think only one thing: away! Away from here! All my feelings, emotions and instincts were fixed on one single goal: escape!

And I ran! The soles of my bare feet pushed off the woody ground almost silently. The faster I ran, the quieter my steps on the stairs became! But instead another sound echoed in my ears like a thunderclap: the quick, dull echo of the heavy shoes that came closer and closer.Much faster than I could ever have run! It came. Unstoppable. Almost reached me!

There! One last glimmer of hope. The end of the stairs! And a door! ... Only ten meters. Ridiculous ten meters .... eight ... five ...

A hoarse laugh rang out just behind my head! Obsessed with terrible panic, I reached out my hand, touched the old rusty handle and pushed it down at full speed! With all my strength I braced myself against the thick oak wood. No reaction. Locked!

Desperate, my open hands pressed against the insurmountable obstacle. But then I gave up!

Trembling, I leaned my forehead against the hard, brittle wood and closed my eyes. I heard that hoarse laugh again, this time right in my right ear. A hot breath caressed the sweaty skin of my throat! Slowly I lifted my eyelids against my eyes, turned around with an empty, shattered look ...
Nothing! I stared at the endless staircase with wide eyes. Where was the pursuer? Stunned and yet tense all over, I let my gaze wander over the wooden steps. But there was no one here!

It took a while before I finally understood: This was a nightmare! And in nightmares, incomprehensible or terrible things happen!

Close to tears, I turned back to the heavy oak door, taking my eyes off the stairs. I wanted to try again!

My right hand carefully pressed down the rusty handle. A soft squeak penetrated the silence of the old walls. And then I tried something I should have done much sooner. Instead of pushing, I pulled the handle lightly. There was a groaning creak, but immediately the door opened a small crack!

"I donkey." I whispered softly to myself. With another strong pull, the door swung open so that I could easily walk through.

A sweet, penetrating smell wafted into my face with a cool breeze. But when I entered the small bare room, I noticed that there was no window here that was open! The breath of wind ... Just an illusion again?

My eyes fell on a filthy fireplace. A few red-hot pieces of coal glowed beneath a large heap of ash. It almost looked like someone had lived here recently!

There were black shadows in the four corners of the dusty room.

And only two white, wafer-thin curtains, in front of a glass balcony door, reflected a weak light from outside. The moon?

Slowly I stepped all the way into this dark, eerie room and looked around with anxious, searching eyes. But apparently there were no more doors here.

Exactly at the same moment as my gaze turned to the back left corner of the room, the heavy oak door fell behind me, cracking loudly into the lock! And suddenly this big shadow moved out of the dark corner of the room ...
My heart started beating so hard it hurt all my ribs! In front of my wide-open eyes, a black figure emerged that slowly floated towards me. And the heavy cloak rustled across the floor! Immediately this strange, sweetish penetrating smell wafted over to me. It was the smell of burnt and rotting meat ... The smell of death!

At that moment I understood and felt warm tears run down my face. The tears of despair!

He didn't chase me! He was waiting for me here !!!

Something like that is called bad luck! * laughing fits war * <- I'm in a weird mood again today! Nevertheless, I hope that not everyone will label me as crazy and give me their opinion in a neutral way.
