Chapter: AWG - 40 - (False) facts
A / N: Weeds don't go away, in my case not at all. Here the ... probably penultimate part ... or the penultimate part. I can't say when I update. You will experience it. Thanks to my loyal reviewers and the finger for everyone who reads but doesn't say comments. And last but not least, the stinky finger for myself, because I have relieved and it takes so long to update.
A short review: With the help of our little green Zerbie-Hulk, the volcano collapsed and unfortunately not everyone was able to get to safety in time. Who has stayed and how and whether no one has suffered a slight damage to the roof at all - find out!
Chapter 40 - (False) Facts
Tales and his crew were on the bridge of their ship. After the incident in the engine room, a loud discussion had broken out, but no one came up with anything remotely meaningful. Most of the time, the members insulted each other and lost sight of the essentials: if they couldn't get away from here, they would perish.
It had started so well - namely with the question "Where does this monster in the engine room come from?" - "Hey, Daizu isn't that your mom?", The humanoid gave Pea a thud on the head, "Ouch!"
Tales was the only one who hadn't entered the heated discussion. He had more important problems. Why should Freezer order him back at such short notice? Did he do something wrong? And if so, what are the consequences?
Tal's fist slammed onto a flashing faucet.
Everyone winced. Raisin took his head from the back of Kakao's knee and Daizu stopped pulling on Raisin's antennae.
It was quiet for a few seconds and suddenly the rotors suddenly started sending normal signals.Amondo crawled back to his feet and the rest of the crew followed him.
"It seems to be working again."
"Hm," Tales was short and derogatory. The tall Saiyan turned away, his cloak flapping noisily. With sophisticated steps he left the bridge, "I'm in my quarters. Call me when we're home."
"But Master Tales," Daizu continued to babble without thinking, "What about the cattle in the engine room?"
Tales stopped. "It's yours," a cynical grin crept over his face.
When the Saiyajin had left the room, the crew members looked at each other questioningly - "What is it now?" - "Well, I don't feel like taking another step," somebody pouted offended.
At that moment the ground rumbled beneath them.
"The start signal! FAST!", In a matter of seconds, Kakao was dashed to the starting system and the sequence was activated.
They hardly felt anything from the start - and no one looked out the windows when the ground broke away from under them like a souflet if you cooked it wrong. The smaller components of the tournament visitors were compressed and pulled into the depths of the planet. The different metals shifted against each other, their frames warped and broke, crushing the other structure only to end up being wedged in by the steep ravines or completely crushed like in a scrap press.
Nobody was watching? ....Almost no one. The old woman stood on tiptoe at the edge of the engine room and clawed the framing of the porthole with her fingertips. She saw exactly how the planet seemed to collapse. Remembered exactly how it was so long ago when this place was considered a deserted wasteland. Before the first tourists showed up to see the fighting competition.
Although the ship was sealed better than soundproof, she thought she could hear the deafening noise.
Bardock - was no more.
Slowly the round ship moved away from the huge rubble dump, the crater - or better said its remains became smaller, the contours blurred and at some point, in the far distance, it didn't look so bad anymore. But only after the planet and all the associated misfortune had moved out of sight, the old woman let go of the window and devoted herself for the first time since the start to the room and the people who had come together here.
Her gaze slowly slid from one to the other. Most of them had fallen asleep from exhaustion in the meantime ... Celipa was leaning against Totepo. They both looked exhausted and probably wouldn't wake up until they got to Vegeta-sei. 'When you sleep you look really peaceful'
The Canassan Ranjapi had suffered numerous wounds. Momoko had taken care of his wounds and fell asleep in his arms.'No, the trip wasn't in vain. '
The camel stood in the middle of the room and smacked its lips with satisfaction. The old woman went up to her cross-eyed comrade and patted one of his legs. The camel clacked contentedly with its huge ears.
"We survived it," said the old woman softly so that the camel could just understand it from the short distance. "We survived it - but Bardock ...", she did not continue. Thoughtfully, she stared straight ahead. She thought about it and finally her eyes brightened a little bit - she looked over at the sleeping Canassan.
Celipa winced from time to time. The old woman noticed how her eyes moved. The Saiyan seemed to be talking in her sleep - but it was too indistinct to understand. Sweat appeared on her pale forehead and her earring jingled uncontrollably when she tossed her head from side to side.
The silent giant at her side didn't notice anything.Totepo didn't change a face.
At some point Celipa pushed his upper body to the side, his head was tilted and small droplets of drool splashed onto the metal floor.
"Toma! Toma !!", Celipa clung to Totepo's shoulder, "Toma, where are you?", Then she let herself fall lifelessly against Totepo.
Where was Toma? And where were all the others?

Between all the debris and dismembered spaceships, the surface of the planet was covered in dust.
There had never been a comparable quake. The planet would never recover. Even if it had been a desolate wasteland before, the environment had developed its own system. Everything was correct. Small animals or plants had got used to the conditions and found a peaceful home.
It was all over now.
Stone on stone and a uniform sadness that seemed to reach far beyond the horizon.Everything was quiet. No screaming fans, no small children, no belligerent warriors, no caring mothers or fathers. No crackling fire, no food stalls and no small animals. Nothing. Everything was dead. Dead and extinct.
A few hundred meters away from the original volcano, a few stones suddenly began to shift against each other. The low creak intensified and suddenly the smaller pebbles burst apart like cones and a blood-smeared hand shot forward from inside the planet.
5 fingers, some long scratches and finally a wrist, the forearm and the second arm. "Argh", a pained sound penetrated the dusty air. It sounded weak and laborious - but it was the first word in a new era. The volcano was no more.
Slowly he struggled out of the stony ground and got to his feet, coughing. After he was finally able to stand reasonably straight, he carefully began to dust his clothes. He was in pain - but he had been through worse.
The figure reached for its belt and operated the remote control of its space capsule.

Far away from the former volcano, the area hadn't changed. The events had no longer affected the desert. Right next to a coral-like giant cactus stood a space capsule like the Saiyan use. Inside, the consoles switched on, the drive was activated, and the position of the signal was located. The device began to shake and rose into the air to take the user home safely.
From a distance he saw her coming. With one easy movement he brushed a strand of green hair from his face. "I guess someone means it pretty well with me!". Zarbon limped slightly beaten into his capsule and headed home.

Another ship had left some time ago and had already entered the next galaxy. There were engineers, medics, and academics on board ... Dashu's staff. They all showed little respect for him - but they feared him. So it was no wonder that only the best and most experienced doctors were hired to take care of the weakened Dashu.
Okane himself had sustained more severe wounds, but he couldn't afford to be considered a weakling. As long as his brother was not fully conscious again, he had to hold the position.
He was throwing orders, commanding intimidated crewmembers into the engine room and back, telling them to raise the temperature on board - he didn't want his butt to freeze off.
His camouflages secretly cursed him, but no one dared to contradict him.
"Sire?", A blond android bowed to Okane.
Disregarding this, he took the glasses from his nose and cleaned them, even though the glass had already shattered."What is it? Can't I even have 5 minutes of rest? Bungler!" His words dripped with contempt.
"What about the wounded, sire? What level of treatment do you want?"
Slowly the android took a step closer.
The broken glasses hissed past his nose in a flash.
"Did I allow you to come closer? Get out of here! Make sure they stay alive!"
The boy ran out of the hall and carefully closed the door after seeing Okane make himself comfortable again.
"Bloody bungler!", Okane scolded himself. He stretched out the fingers of his hands and almost couldn't believe what he saw: his hands were shaking!
