Fanfic: Halloween
Chapter: Halloween
Here is a short story about Halloween. Please for clerks, sorry that it has no end.
Dark darkness loomed on the horizon. The streets were swept empty. The student Kayome was the only one on that dark night.
She rode her bike down the once busy street. It was ten minutes to midnight, she had just returned from her boyfriend and was an hour late. Kayome hurried.
Her parents' house was at the end of the street, but she had to pass the cemetery first. Strong wind came up. Her black hair was completely disheveled. She cursed. The street lamps went out suddenly and it was pitch dark. She ignored her fear. Then she saw someone standing in the street, she stopped.
“Brother!” Her blood froze in her veins. The little boy was standing in the middle of the street. He was wearing dirty torn pants and a ragged shirt. Blood dripped from his arm onto the street. He smiled wryly.
Two headlights came from behind and blinded Kayome. She covered her eyes and heard a crash and the terrible cry of a small child in pain. She put her arm down. "BROTHER!"
But nobody was on the street. She was still as if swept empty and where her brother was standing, there was a black cat crossing the street. Her green eyes lit up the frightened girl, no more wind came up, no noise from the surroundings, the only thing you could hear was the girl's breath. She closed her eyes again and took a deep breath. Slowly she started her bike again. Felt haunted. The street suddenly seemed so long to her. She drove faster, faster and faster, using all her strength, but the house did not seem to be approaching, she stopped exhausted, gasped for breath. She looked around. She hadn't moved. The cemetery was still next to her. She panicked, threw her bike on the side of the road and started walking. She ran as fast as she could, a stone, she fell. Her knee was sheared and burned badly, her pants showed a large hole. She was getting more and more frightened.
"Sister ... sister!" her little brother's voice. She got up slowly and turned her head to the left, against the voice.
"Sister ... sister." Yes, that was the voice of her beloved brother. The voice came from the empty cemetery.
