Well, the last part wasn't that long, but maybe you like the length of this part more! * loving * I made an extra effort!
Part 12.
Again I felt desperation rise in me, but I quickly suppressed it. My gaze was fixed on Piccolo, who was so close to death that one could feel the coldness of creeping life. Yes, the great Namek returned my gaze with the last of his strength and shouted the words at me that could no longer come out of his mouth: Defend yourself!
In my head my thoughts went on a roller coaster. How should I defend myself? I had no powers with which I could defend myself! The dream guardian was way too powerful for me to fight him. He had an advantage ... a nightmare!
But just as the thought occurred to me, a glimmer of hope glistened in me.Maybe, yes, maybe I had a small chance too. It was worth a try!
With an effort I braced myself against the cruel pressure exerted by my tormentor's hand, and I suddenly rolled to one side.
I use the moment of surprise to get up swaying.
With slightly squeezed lids, I stared over at the terrifying creature, which was also keeping my eyes on me. Slowly, but much more carefully, she came closer. It was like sensing that I was up to something!
And then, I began to put my idea into practice ... To make the last desperate attempt. I didn't know if it would work, but at least I wanted to try it.
I inhaled slowly and deliberately, gathering all my thoughts in order to concentrate. A small smile played on my lips when I found what I was looking for. And suddenly these feelings came over me with increasing persistence ... I forgot all the pain that was in my body and focused completely on the saving thoughts.
A rapidly spreading feeling of happiness took hold of me and extinguished all other feelings: I wallowed in the memories of beautiful days. Made me aware of her unique wonderful hours and enjoyed the rising warmth that surrounded me more and more. Like a fluffy, protective coat, it covered me.
While I was immersed in this beautiful and happy atmosphere and sank into it, I noticed how the dream guardian paused, confused. And I knew exactly what made him stop ...
Before my eyes, the fog began to lift. It was like the haze fleeing from me. But that wasn't the only reason why the smoke screen suddenly dissolved. The warm glow of a few isolated rays of sun found its way through the white smoke!
Under my feet the stony ground lost its repulsive gray and turned into a fruity brown, from which small green plants sprout in some places.
The more the world changed under my feet, the more I got the feeling that my assumption was correct: I could change my dream! MY dream!
Smiling, I looked at a beautiful, sun-drenched flower meadow, which was moved slightly by the warm wind. In the midst of the green plants and between some yellow buttercups rose a large black figure. It looked grotesque!
It almost looked as if the dream guardian was being crushed by the warm rays of the sun and the splendor of the flowers, but it was only the appearance that made him look like that!
But what I had hoped for did not happen: he did not flee!
Slowly he came towards me through the plants ...
At the same moment, three shapes that appeared before me as if out of nowhere made me shrink back in shock. With my eyes wide open, I stared at the black figures that had now fully manifested ... Dream Guardian!
But they didn't look at me. Their hoods looked in the direction of the "renegade"! A split second later, they were floating through the tall grass and surrounding him.
In the bright sunlight I could see the many blood-soaked spots that glistened wet in the cloak of the circled dream guardian. Just now, as if frozen in place, he tried to flee backwards. With a dull sound he crashed into one of the three dream guards and tried in panic to free himself from the tight grip of this guard, but it was too late!
Four chalk-white hands grabbed his hood mercilessly ... and tore it off.
I would probably never be able to forget the scream that echoed across the flower meadow! I had never heard such a horrible, terrible sound. It was like skinning someone alive!
Horrified, I pressed my hand over my mouth so as not to scream out loud too. Before my eyes I saw the fleshy, bulging, blood-streaked head of the Dream Guardian puff in the sunlight as if it were a balloon. With his mouth wide open, he screamed the last scream of his life. Meanwhile, black blood oozed from his cracked skin, flowed over his cloak and splattered the yellow buttercups.
And then, it was over ...
The loud, animal-like screeching died away with one blow. A huge gush of blood gushed from the creature's skull. A moment later she collapsed and let her head dangle to one side.
A white hand grabbed the dead figure's hood and pulled it back over his face.
I stared at the other three dream guards, completely immobile. Without paying any attention to me, they took the dead man into their midst and disappeared with him as quickly and silently as they had come.
Stunned, I looked at the place where the figures had just been standing, but then I threw myself around, ran to Piccolo and knelt on the ground next to him.
The tall Namek looked at me with dull, lackluster eyes as I brushed his shoulder with trembling fingers. I didn't know if he was still completely conscious, but I just spoke to him: "Piccolo, do you still have enough strength to tell Gohan that they can wake us up?"
Actually, I should have asked myself the question, because the way Piccolo looked, he didn't even have enough strength to survive the next few seconds! And at the same time as I was thinking this, the great Namek closed his eyes ...
"Piccolo, you mustn't die! Not now that the monster is defeated !!!" I screamed desperately. It was at that moment that I realized how much I really loved the big green man. This realization made my eyes wet. Small tears ran down my face and I gently stroked Piccolo's forehead.
As I was doing this, a strange feeling came over me.It was like something suddenly dragged me away from this place ...
A little note at the end:
Now one more part follows, then it ends with "Foggy Nights"!
