Chapter 15:

Once outside, their breath caught in the air. A countless army of dragons had settled a few miles. The biodiversity among them was also innumerable. Some had red scales, others brown-green, and still others had black scales. Many of them had horns on their sturdy bodies. Some thorns and others huge tusks, some without them were found. But they remained in their position, waiting for a sign to come forward to launch their attack.

Again the earth shook beneath their feet. The ground in front of them seemed to rise and sink. All could see how a chasm formed in front of them. Everyone stared at the spectacle with wide eyes and open jaws. At first there was silence but then it started again. Now the clouds released the moon, half of which was in the shadow of the earth. He rose from the chasm for which they had been preparing all the time.He straightened up to his full height. The banned. He was a good five meters tall and his body was sturdy and stocky. He had long, fiery red hair that fell over his shoulder. There were scars on his face and some scales on his skin, that of a dragon. His eyes, which shone like rubies on the dark skin, were glowing red. Long fangs hung from his mouth like a predator. You could tell from his yellowed teeth that he must be very old. He had huge claws on both hands and feet. He wore armor that gleamed in the pale moonlight. It was copper in color and had long dragon horns attached to its shoulders. Like his dragons, he also wore dragon wings on his back. He now looked down at Inuyasha and the others. You could hear how he hissed at her after his gaze stopped at three. His main focus was Inuyasha, Kinako, and Kagome.The ones who banned him many years ago.



"Here we go," said Miroku, more to himself than to the others. They gave him a nod in confirmation.



At a sign from that dragon demon, the dragons who scraped forward behind him flew towards them. But they weren't after Inuyasha or his friends. They whizzed over their heads and attacked Ashenton in a variety of ways. But the protective shield of Yasion withstood them. Still. One could watch how arrows shot from watchtowers and hidden hiding spots at the dragons. So this army was busy for the time being and could be kept in check. Now they could turn to the real enemy.



Inuyasha pulled Tessaiga and fixed his gaze on the rest of the group. Their looks also showed that they were ready. Kirara transformed to help them fight. You could tell that they were tense.Inuyasha jumped forward and launched his attack. But before he could use Tessaiga he was caught by a fist of the banned and thrown away. A laugh escaped his lips, a terrible laugh of the certainty of victory. His laugh broke off when he felt an arrow in his throat. At this point the skin began to discolor and steam. He hadn't noticed how Kagome shot one of her arrows at him. He just left it in and didn't try to remove it. His gaze wandered to Kagome, who then stared at her with anger. Flames gathered in his mouth to hurl them at the person who dared to hurt him. At high speed she headed for Kagome, who was unable to escape. But something suddenly tore her away from her point of view. Safe. The ball of flame landed behind them and melted everything around. She looked gratefully at her rescuer and then immediately stopped.It was Tieena who saved her from being burned. "Why did you ...? I thought you ... you said ..." Tieena interrupted her. "I know what I said. But I want to win fair against you" Kagome knew what she meant. It was about Inuyasha. She smiled gratefully at her, "Thank you, Tieena!" Now Tieena paused. She just couldn't understand this girl. But now they saw how one paw of the monster shot at them to crush them both. Not a moment too late, Sango threw her Hiraikotsu against her arm. She managed to stop his attack and save both of them. But now the banned turned his attention to Sango who rode on Kirara. Again he gathered flames in his mouth to hurl them at the neighbor. However, Kirara has always been able to evade his attack so far. Miroku, too, was no longer inactive and intervened in the battle of events. He threw a ban note at her opponent and when this ban note touched his skin, the note was surrounded by blue lightning bolts.He reacted immediately and hit his fist in the ground just before Miroku. The force threw Miroku backwards, directly against a rock. A violent pain flashed through his body and felt that they intensified with every movement. So he lay there and watched the whole thing with a bad feeling that he could not do anything.

Now Kirara rushed towards her enemy with Sango on her back. Sango held her Hiraikotsu ready to throw it in the neck. But getting too close to him was a mistake. He had noticed it long ago and suddenly turned around when she was close enough. Striking at Kirara with his paw, both were thrown off course. Sango was thrown from Kirara by the force of the blow and fell from a great height on the hard ground. She lay there in great pain, she must have broken something that she couldn't move. Kirara flew into a sharp rock that dug into her back. It transformed back into its small form, because the pain caused it to no longer stand it in this state.A laugh of victory escaped his lips and was now sure of his triumph. He turned to his next victim, but before he could see him a ball of flames flew towards him. With a scream that sounded like that of an animal, he tried to smother the flames. It was his attack that was directed against himself. But by whom? He searched the ground for this person and found her. It was a blonde girl. But she had an aura that was not human. It was the smell of magic that emanated from her. Kinako had steered a ball of fire towards him when he attacked Sango and Kirara with it, she had just been waiting for the right moment to fire it at the dragon demon. But there was something else he knew about this witch. Suddenly a pain shot through him, a pain in his back. He turned away from Kinako to check on the person who dared to attack him. This time it was Tieena. She had thrown glowing, oversized throwing stars into his back that buried themselves into his flesh.Inuyasha had meanwhile run to Kagome to protect her because she was very close to Tieena and Kinako also went to them. Tieena was standing nearby but alone. Tieena looked up at her enemy defiantly. She hoped it could help in this fight, that she could help Inuyasha. But she wasn't strong enough to turn the tide of this fight and she knew that inside too. With a straight palm so that the claws pointed forward, he hit her in Tieena's direction. A few times she was able to avoid him, but for a moment she was careless, which was immediately punished. His claws cut deep into her stomach and chest. Seriously wounded, she lay where she was, was thrown away and still suffered a head wound. All she could do was watch the remaining ones hold their own against the enemy.



They were shocked to see how one after the other was incapacitated. Now it was their turn to assert themselves.Inuyasha motioned to Kinako and she nodded in response. Not even Kagome knew what that meant. As if on command, the two jumped apart. Each on one side, now the dragon youkai had to watch out for two at the same time. Inuyasha and Kinako leaped towards their enemy in one leap. Since they were a few ahead of him in terms of speed, he couldn't react in time. Inuyasha landed on his left shoulder and Kinako landed on his right side in the hip area. As quickly as possible, they thrust their weapons into his flesh with full force. With aching screams he tried to shake them off. In vain. They had placed themselves in such a way that they could not be reached by him. "Come on Kagome! Shoot an arrow at him!" Inuyasha roared downstairs. She didn’t have to be told twice and put an arrow on the string. Aiming at the head, she let go of the arrow and the arrow rushed towards the banned. It hit his forehead and his skin turned again.A new cry of pain escaped his lips and now clutched the arrow to pull him out. When his hands touched the arrow, Kagome's arrow emitted blue flashes. Despite the pain, he pulled the arrow out with one jerk. Now his anger seemed to have grown and was able to shake off Inuyasha and Kinako with their weapons. Both landed next to each other on the hard floor. Kagome ran quickly to them. “Are you all right?” They both got up again. They were only slightly injured. "Keh! I don't know why they made such a fuss. It's not that strong either," Inuyasha scoffed. "This is how you see each other again. After such a long time" They suddenly turned to the voice. They looked at their opponents. "You really are. The three who banned me back then" His voice sounded like that of a grater. He had a smoky voice that didn't sound like a human's. "He speaks?" Kagome got it out of her mind without really realizing it.The dragon lord laughed. "Even if you did it then, you will fail this time. You have not been as familiar with your strength as you were then and apparently you are not able to unite as you did then" Unconsciously, all three of them bit their lower lip. Sango, Miroku and Tieena watched the fight in dismay. Even if they mastered the Fusion perfectly, they simply wouldn't have enough time to complete it. You were now in a bind. But somehow he was easy to attack and her attacks bothered him. Everyone could see that. They didn't have a real chance to unite and ban him, but maybe they could kill him that way.
