Chapter: Tejina- A book like no other ..
Chapter - Confused Skeleton
Suddenly there was a crash. It seemed to be coming from the ceiling. Someone, or something, seemed to have fallen. This was followed by a deafening squeak. "What was that?" Asked Pin, dismayed. "Don't know !?" Jen crossed her arms behind her head. And again there was a loud crash. "W- w- what is d- that?", Pin asked again. "Hmm, maybe it's a couple of Dundons ... the critters throw everything down too!" Jen said angrily.
(Note in between: Dundons = little red, horned creatures who throw everything around that is not in the tree with three ... close relatives of the goblins ..... !! very snappy !!)
Pin shuddered. "But I wonder why they come up here, they usually only live underground ...!?" Jen looked thoughtfully at the ceiling.
"But well .....!?", He grinned, "If I'm there, they're harmless anyway!" And again it made a blast ... this time near the wooden stairs that lead to the second floor led.Pin jumped forward and hid behind Jen. "Say, since when have I been your bodyguard !?" he asked a little sourly. "What? You just said that you can defeat these beasts ..... and I'm too scared of these things ....!", Pin whispered softly. Then, as the dust cleared somewhat, she saw something lying on the ground. It looked like a hand. "There you are Jen!"Shouted Pin. The relief could be seen on her. (more or less ^. ^). She grabbed her hand to help Jen to her feet. She grabbed her, tugged at it, and fell back on the floor a lot." Jen had suddenly been incredibly light. “Pin? Pin?” Jen patted her cheek. "Y- yes? W- what's the matter?" She moaned. At the same time as Pin, the skeleton picked itself up again. Pin looked around. Last of all, her gaze met the strange, standing skeleton, which still looked pretty much alive. Pin squinted his eyes and opened them again. "AAAAAH!" Pin screeched again. The skeleton returned the scream. "AAAAAH!" It came from him too. Pins rolled up again, and Pin rolled back to the floor a lot. "I think ..", Jen began "I think you blew her away ...!" Jen started to bawl and the skeleton joined in.
About half a minute later, Pins' eyelids twitched. "Quick! Hide yourself on the stairs!" Jen whispered to the skeleton, "otherwise she'll fall over again .." It nodded and marched towards the stairs, as Jen told it.
Pin opened his eyes and sat up. "Will someone tell me what happened?" Asked Pin angrily. "Um, yeah sure ..." Jen said. "Ruphus?You can come, she's prepared ..! "
Pin heard a faint tap, descending the stairs. When Ruphus got to the top of the stairs, Pin's eyes widened. "Wooooow! A real, living, true skeleton!", She marveled with an open jaw. "Well, yes, almost alive," added Ruphus. “Crazy! It can also speak!” Pin circled Ruphus a few times. "Um, I would prefer you to address me in the, Er form!" Said Ruphus, embarrassed.
As always, Pin wouldn't hear if you said something to her. "Ah yes, exactly Jen, you told us about him once. It used to be a faculty!", She asked Jen with a grin. He nodded.
It was already dark outside and Pin noticed it. "Jen, * yawn *, let's go to sleep, okay?" She stretched and yawned heartily again. "I think you're right ...!" Jen agreed.
They put some blankets, which they found on the first floor with Ruphus' help, and spread them out. A quarter of an hour later they were both lying on the floor wrapped up in blankets (Ruphus cannot sleep since he is already dead).Another quarter of an hour later, thunderous snores could be heard, indicating that they had fallen asleep .....
So ..... this time it's not that much (more precisely: 881 words) .... didn't have enough time to come up with something new ..... the next chapter will be more! I promise ...
