Well! Now she had a plan. But now it was time to carry it out. (I'm not giving anything away yet; P) That could be really difficult. To carry out her plan, she needed to get closer to him. She still had to get closer without being hit by the sword. But what was the best way to do it? But even here she couldn't think any further, the quay was already rushing towards her again. Again she just ran away from him, fell while trying to avoid him and hit the ground roughly. Before she even had a chance to straighten up, she saw the sword rushing towards her again.

Sam: ° Oh shit ..... °

She turned quickly to the side. She had escaped the sword, but now she was lying on her stomach. Breathing quickly, she dared a look over her shoulder and tried to turn on her back again. But Kai didn't give her the opportunity to take a break. The point of the sword came closer and closer. Sam was paralyzed. She tried convulsively to turn away, but her mind was foggy. The sword was so close to her that it was about to hit her.She just screwed up her eyes and raised her arms in front of her face.

Her plan, her evasive maneuvers that were so good for a beginner, all of this seemed to have been of no use to her in the end. All her thoughts turned only to the moment when she had to hit the sword. About the moment when she would definitely be dead.

But the moment she was waiting for just didn't want to come. Could she have long been dead without her noticing? Reluctantly, she opened her eyes a little. What she saw really frightened her. What happened? She saw the sword just in front of her and a wharf that seemed to be trying very hard. But why. The answer came to her mind as she dropped her arms and opened her eyes fully.Around her was something that reminded her of a purple protective wall, only that it was quite see-through. A little scared, she looked up at Kai, as if he could explain to her what had just happened. But he just lowered his sword and began to grin strangely evil. Sam looked around. She saw Pixy just hovering a few meters away from her, but the little elf didn't look as if she had just played one of her magic tricks and besides, Sam didn't really believe that she would have been able to do it at all. Slowly she got up and her gaze wandered back to Kai. He was still standing in front of her grinning nastily. When she was on her feet again, she looked up at the window on the first floor, where her two friends looked down at them pale as a sheet, then her gaze wandered back to Kai again and looked at him somewhat confused.

Who had saved her with this protective bear (no idea how that is written ..... sorry ^^ °)?In the end, had it been Lumen who had once again freed her from this jam?

But slowly the Baierre went out again and left Sam defenseless.

Kai: "You learned something after all. I would have thought you would just give up at some point, but I did not expect that you would come to me with your defense magic."

Sam: "Defense ..... what?"

Kai: "I should have guessed that it was just pure coincidence."

His grin widened.

Kai: "But I would advise you to work if you can do that."

Sam was still looking at him in disbelief. SHE should have saved herself with this protective spell? But just a moment. It would have been possible. Pixy had also said that the powers that she had received from the stone around her neck could also be used to defend herself.

Kai: "Are you giving up or how should I interpret your silence?"

It was exactly that. The opportunity she was looking for.It fell like scales from her eyes at his words (Poor Kai. ^^ Gives her tips on how to do it or do it normally again and doesn't even notice it. * Tztztz * Such bad luck * ggg *) .

Sam: "Ok. I surrender."

Kai's grin suddenly broadened.

Kai: "So it works."

"SAM! Don't do that!" Came the calls from Zoe and Jill, who apparently still hadn't really understood what was going on down there. "Have you gone crazy? !!?" Both moved away from the window and were now apparently on their way outside.

Kai was not distracted by her screaming, however.

Kai: "Come on! Give me the stone."

Now it was Sam who grinned.

Sam: "Nope!"

Kai's good mood was blown away.

Kai: "What do you mean: 'Nope'? I thought you surrender."

Sam: "I do too."

Kai: "Then finally get that thing over there."

Sam: "No."

Kai: "You finally make up your mind.Give me the stone! "

Sam: "I won't give you the stone."

Sam's grin widened.

Sam: "If you want it, you have to get it. * Gg *"

Kai: "What does that mean again?"

He eyed her skeptically and rather suspiciously.

Sam: "That means: You should come here and get it, otherwise you're unlucky."

He took a few steps towards her and still gave her the same look that betrayed he didn't trust her.

Finally he stood before her. Only a few more seconds and she could implement her plan. Now it was only to be hoped that everything would work as she had imagined.

He started fiddling with the string of the chain with his fingers, but he couldn't quite succeed. So he lowered his head to her a little to get a better look at the problem. This was clearly her chance. She prayed to God (Dende ^^ * ggg *) that it would work.

She was a little queasy, but finally she put her arms around his neck and pulled his head down closer to her. He looked at her in surprise for a moment, then she closed her eyes and her lips touched his. (^^ Ui, nice!)

She would have loved not to open her eyes at all, because she had the damned feeling that the whole thing hadn't worked out quite the way she had imagined. It had worked for Caligo. She had made him subject to this, as far as she was sure, and at the same time, broken his will by letting Sam watch, which in turn had led to the argument between the two (oh man ..... quite complicated . @ _ @ I hope everyone understood that halfway. ^^ °) But did the whole thing work the other way round?

She wasn't sure. But suddenly I heard something clatter to the ground, then she felt him hugging her. To feel him with her, she had missed that feeling.

Slowly her lips separated from his and she opened her eyes. The two lines that had previously graced his cheeks were gone. Relieved, she smiled at him, a little embarrassed. Then she noticed the indignant and irritated looks that came from Jill and Zoe, who had apparently just come around the corner. She giggled at the sight of her. The two looked a bit very shocked.

The two friends also had to laugh a little and Kai looked at them a bit confused before the whole group went back into the building to eat.
