The moonlight fell silver through the open window onto the large double bed on which Bulma and Vegeta had made themselves comfortable hours ago. A fine film of sweat testified to the previous activities, and the thought stole a smile on Vegeta's face. Articulate and powerful as she was, his Bulma could also use her tongue excellently elsewhere.

After all the arguments and loneliness, they had finally found each other and discovered in each other what neither of them had consciously been looking for.

The Saiyajin's gaze fell in admiration on the calm form of the lover in his arms.Finally they were one and no one could separate them from each other. For weeks he had wrestled with himself whether it was possible for them to bond, and that fateful night they had finally dared ... and it had worked. A tired smile made Vegeta's features appear softer as he pulled Bulma closer and nestled his cheek into the crook of her neck. He clearly felt the coppery taste on his tongue that Bulma's blood had left behind.

Unfortunately Bulma did not survive the ritual.

Fortunately, the bond had worked.
