Subtitle: Sayajin Story

Chapter: Intro

Hi!
I have already uploaded this FF once, but since the entire system has been changed and somehow my FF has also disappeared, although it is displayed under my name, I just upload it again.
It is the continuation of my FF "When the Night Begins", but it is understandable even without its predecessor. The main chara is Vegeta, but other charas are added.
Then I stop talking around and post the first part. I would be happy about commies with criticism etc.

He breathed a sigh of relief.
Slowly he put his crossed arms behind his head and crossed his legs.
The dusty smell of his cot and that of the old blankets on it rose to his nose, as it did almost every time he lay here. In the semi-dark his room looked much smaller than it was.
Vegeta stared at the ceiling. The ceiling stared back.
He cursed this damned life. Not his life, but the situation he was in. There were three things that made him mad.He, Prince of Vegeta-sei, which was little more than a footnote in history, did not have a people under him, he was a servant himself. This fact made me sick. That was the first reason.
It had been years since that event, now he was 24, but he remembered it as if it had been yesterday. He still remembered exactly how they had got him out of his rat cell and how Freezer had told him about this "catastrophe". He couldn't believe it then, couldn't believe it, but he knew it was true. Since then he has worked for Freezer.
But there was also a good thing: There were people who he thought he would never see again, they were the only ones who still saw him as a prince, which was fine with him. Two Sayajins, with him they were the last three of their race to survive the explosion of their home planet. Nappa and Raditz had been on a mission and when they had found out that Freezer now - he never said it and was extremely reluctant to think so, but it was like that ... still - they had and had the power to him connected.Through the thin walls that separated the soldiers' quarters from one another, a voice came rasping out of the loudspeaker. It must have been his neighbour's room, because shortly afterwards his door opened with a creak and Vegeta heard his footsteps echoing on the cold floor. They moved away only slowly and looked almost drowsy to him.
As if the atmosphere had only been thawed by these few noises, the other rooms also came to life - or rather, their occupants. Footsteps, voices and other noises mixed into an annoying noise that Vegeta knew all too well and had learned to hate.
And that was exactly the second reason for his indescribable anger at everything. He was one of them, one of those nameless people whom he had despised as a child. They thought neither of resistance nor of a fight to somehow improve their situation and to save the little spark of pride in them from Freezer. They just let it go, were perhaps even happy about their small, stinking room on board the mighty ship on which their dear Lord and Master Freezer was, were happy about every warm meal, regardless of whether they were three days old was or just sucks. And that was exactly the type of Vegeta. He was someone. He had a name, a big name. And he still had his pride, which no one could ever take away from him.
So he waited until the noise level had reached a reasonably tolerable level. He closed his eyes and tried to get all thoughts out of his head.
His other neighbor coughed loudly. It sounded rattling and Vegeta wondered when the guy would spit out his lungs.
He wasn't really someone who howled after times past, but he really wished he had his old room back. He had been allowed to live in it until he was 12 years old, but after that he began working as Freezer's errand boy.Since then he had been sent from one hole to the next, one room worse than the other; utterly unworthy of a prince.
Something crackled and Vegeta sighed. No! That was the loudspeaker, what did Freezer want from him now ?! He had just returned from his last mission ...
"Vegeta, Master Freezer asks for you. Come into the hall at once," the voice croaked in his direction from the opposite wall. There was another rattle, then it became reasonably quiet again.
Vegeta didn't respond. He remained motionless on his cot, but he knew that he had to go. It was an order ...
He clenched one hand into a fist and clutched the stinking old blanket beneath him. His face hardened and he clenched his teeth. He would have loved to scream at that moment, so loud that you could still hear it in the farthest corner of the universe. It was exactly the same with his father, but he only had to endure this humiliation of being ordered around by someone for a relatively short time.Vegeta, on the other hand, had been working for this wretch for years now, but how was he supposed to defeat someone who hadn't even been matched by a whole army of sayajins?
He growled softly and sat up with a jerk. After a few seconds he got up and trotted toward the exit.
A thousand times more he preferred to spend days, if not weeks, in this peculiar little room with the almost non-existent lighting, than even for 5 minutes with this being, whom he despised more than anything else, in a room. He really dreaded those few minutes, but there was nothing he could do about it ... not yet.
Vegeta kicked the door with his foot, the lock, which in the first few days had almost caused him to blow up the entire door, rattled and came loose so that he could step out into the corridor.
Here, too, there was only sparse light, which bathed the long corridor in a dreary gray.
There were doors everywhere to his left and right.Somehow this deck reminded him of a nest. With his head bowed and his eyes grim, he strode down the long corridor. From every room he passed he heard different noises; Confusion of voices and other things
The cold walls echoed his steady steps. Vegeta turned the corner and almost crashed into a tall person!
"Be careful!" He hissed and glared at the warrior. Now the sayajin could make out a second person; it was Wato.
That little bastard always hooked up to someone, he was like a parasite that couldn't survive on its own. This tall guy was arguably his current victim, but it was only a matter of time before he got tired of him and deported him! He had also tried to get close to Vegeta and to win his friendship. However, he was not in the slightest interested in it and after what seemed endless four weeks his arsenal of swear words was finally empty.Fortunately, by this point the little creep had finally given up.
Although you couldn't tell by looking at him, Wato was an alien of the Sheh`t race. It looked like a Sayajin that was too small, his hair was long and lank, but pitch black and there was nothing unusual about his face, except maybe the somewhat large eyes. However, he lacked the tail, the landmark in general. Vegeta hated him.
Wato grinned underhandedly and folded his short arms over his chest - he looked ridiculous.
"You bumped into me, Sayajin! You'd better be careful where you put your feet!" Countered the tall one. His voice was rough and dark. He looked muscular, his skin had a strange gray sheen and made him look kind of sick. But there was a strange sense of security in his eyes.
Vegeta was unimpressed and looked back at Wato. The little coward hid behind his new "friend" and was still grinning to himself. And then he actually dared to open his mouth.
"Exactly, Sayajin, don't puff yourself up like that!"
His voice suited him perfectly. It sounded squeaky and shrill and sounded like scratching a blackboard with your fingernails.
At first, Vegeta's anger shot up in the head and he stiffened. He would have loved to squeeze that idiot between his fingers, but he thought better of it. Not because of his new bodyguard - he left him completely cold - there was another reason. This worthlessness was just not worth wasting your time on.
So it tore itself at the strap and gave the little one and his companion a cold smile.
"I have more important things to do than grapple with you. Let's postpone that until another time!" He said, trying to make his voice sound as bored as possible.
The big one smiled too.
"Whenever you want, sayajin!"
Then he started moving and Wato tripped after. As the little one passed him, Vegeta grabbed his arm with lightning speed and hissed at him:
"He won't always be there to protect you! Take care of your back, you never know what's lurking in secret!"
The little guy's already much too big eyes widened for a moment and Vegeta read pure fear in them! Then he turned from the prince's grip and hurried after the other.
"We'll see!" He shouted when he was on a level with the big guy again.
Vegeta looked after the two of them in disgust. It was just humiliating what he had to deal with. He quarreled with a couple of would-be fighters of the lowest class ...
But there was nothing that could be changed for the time being.
And that brought him to the third and last point:
This last reason for his hatred of everything was simply the fact that he couldn't do anything about the first two reasons! He was powerless. Powerless over these small, actually meaningless things, which however annoyed him and there was nothing he could do about it.He clenched his fists and sucked in a sharp breath. Now was not the time to feel sorry for yourself. He had received an "order" that he had to obey if he did not want to annoy Freezer. Not because he didn't want to spoil his mood ... he'd love to! The point was that when Freezer was angry, you couldn't tell by the look on his face. He was completely cool behind that grinning mask that he wore on his face every day. That wicked grin that Vegeta wanted to wipe off his face with his own hands! He rarely showed his anger to the soldiers, and when he did you could actually make your own coffin.
He had other ways and means of punishing you. Either, you had to do double the
