Preface

So, just a little foreword to my FF. I hope that I succeeded in the characters, although the Demolition Boys have become a little "different". Unfortunately, I missed the final of the Beyblade World Championship of Blade Breakers * grumble * my video recorder ... so if something doesn't fit, let me know, then I can change it.
So that was my excuse first * g * So I hope you like the story!

1. The new one

Two slim young girls hunched over in a room that was crammed with computers.
"I don't like that." Said a black-haired woman with blue-green eyes, "You are too strong." "You are right," answered the other, also black-haired, but who had green eyes. "Who will take it over?"
"I'll do it. Just have to hack into your system and log in. A piece of cake. I'll build a good story." Said the first.
The second smiled. "And I take on their opponents.They probably don't even ask. "

“We have a new one on our team.” Boris said to the assembled Demolition Boys. "Why? We can do our job on our own." Tala grumbled
"We don't need any help from" he literally spat out the word "a woman."
"Biovolt insists that you add her to your team. She received top marks in the training.
And a beautiful woman who turns her opponent's head is never bad. "
Disdainful snorting from the Demolition Boys. At that moment Biovolt walked into the Beyblade team's hotel suite. He pushed a black-haired girl in front of him.
She looked a little confused, but her eyes took in every detail of the room in a matter of seconds. Her demeanor was watchful.
She eyed the Demolition Boys appraisingly, but not disparagingly.
"Hello my love!" Biovolt welcomed them. "Boris must have already told you about her ... May I introduce you to Jade?Jade, that's Bryan, Ian, Spencer, and the team leader, Tala. "
"We'll let you know each other now so you can get to know each other." Said Boris and disappeared with Biovolt.
Jade stood indecisively and then turned back to the boys.
She eyed them with a fixed expression.
She sighed, "It won't be easy," she thought. "Hi, I'm Jade, as you already know," she said. "I'm supposed to take on the technical side of your team. Collect data, develop new blade combinations and so on. You should still be responsible for the blading. I'm not particularly skilled at it either. That would have to displace all worries and so on be excluded.
I don't expect you to receive and treat me kindly.
You don't seem too thrilled that I'm here either.
I suggest we make the most of this and accept one another.
It's not on me.The only question I have at the moment is: "She paused and her face, which was so serious and determined before, got a wistful expression
"Is there a free bed anywhere? I haven't slept since I left Ottawa last night." Fatigue spoke from her face.
With a wink from Tala, Ian got up and motioned for her to follow him.
As soon as they had disappeared from the room, Spencer spoke up.
"What do we do with her?" he growled. "Biovolt wouldn't be thrilled if something happened to her." noted Bryan. Tala stared thoughtfully out the window.
"Let's see how good she is. Then we decide whether she will become one of us. Nobody will touch her that long, right ?!" he finally ordered. The two nodded reluctantly.

When the door closed behind them, Ian stopped and held out his hand to Jade. “I'm Ian,” he said. She looked at him in amazement, but then shook his hand."Nice to meet you," she replied. "Don't worry about the others.
If Biovolt picked you, you have to be really good with computers.
Tala respects that. And if he accepts you, the others will do the same. "Ian explained." That's what I thought, too, "Jade thought mockingly.
Ian showed her a room in the spacious hotel suite that was now hers.
She thanked her and immediately collapsed on the bed when he was gone. Before she finally fell asleep, she dutifully wrote an email to her sister:

Hi Cecile!
I arrived well. Apparently everything is going as I thought: Everyone here listens to Tala and he listens to Biovolt. Bad mood. Have to "prove me worthy" first. If they only knew ... Well, I'll get some sleep now.

She sent the mail off tired. Briefly she wanted to look again to see if there was any new information.But when she opened the website, her eyes closed and her head sank on the keyboard.

Tala was the last to go to sleep. He had been training for a long time.
But before he lay down, he was overwhelmed by curiosity.
Quietly he opened the door of Jades' room and looked inside. She was lying on the bed, her hands still on the keyboard of her laptop. A website flickered on this.
He went quietly to the bed and carefully picked up the laptop.
He lowered it and set it on a table. When he turned to the door, he paused and looked back once more. Jade was curled up like a kitten.
Tala left the room and went to sleep.
