I know I've exhibited the poem here before, but I deleted all of my old FF chapters and poems in order to perform them more properly now. Also, this is the poem that is dear to my heart =)

Wanderlust

Oh Egypt, you land of the sun!
I watch your shine with delight!

Up to here I feel your power
Because you shine in your splendor.

This beautiful land
It already sets my heart on fire.

The land of the pharaohs,
Where the gods live!

With the graves
From all the dignitaries.

The huge pyramids
The mighty Ramessids,

When will I finally see you
And don't just build on your dreams?

The many beautiful hieroglyphs
When will I be allowed to read it?

And against this great art
My works are just a mist!

I hold out and wait for it
That you open the gates for me

You land of the pharaohs,Where the great gods live!

I just lack a lot of deben
Oh Pharaoh, can you give it?

So many beautiful gems
Lie close to the bones.
Everyone thinks you're dead
But some people need you in times of need!

So get up and help them
Be busy like the bees!

All help is rewarded
To the Lord who dwells in hearts.

You lie in the great pasture,
I stand at the sheath of the road.

What do I want, life or death?
Oh gods, I'm in need!

I want to go to the temples
Or would you rather look into the graves?

Where should I go, come help me
Oh Pharaoh, you great bull!
Then may you live forever,
Are you also close to Thebes.,

In this beautiful land
It's already setting my heart on fire!

You great Ta-Meri,
You are loved by people and animals.

Ever since I can remember
Do you pull me under your spell?

Egypt, you are my country
And I'm getting out of hand

When someone says somethingAgainst you so undaunted!

Because you are already part of me
I wish I were a part of you too!
Hopefully I'll be traveling soon
And praise your shine.

Far away the loud chorus echoes
In which I praise the falcon Horus.

I hope that I'm standing straight
Before the great creator Re.

He is the bright sun in life
He can give it and take it again.

Everyone has a lot to do
When they praise God Amun.

My words are not scarce either,
With the master of the craftsmen, the god Ptah.

Anubis guards eternity,
3000 years full of serenity.

Osiris is the lord of the Nile
And determiner of this eternal game.

They were the great saints
But I don't want to offend the others either.

Now I want to finally see you too
And don't just build on dreams
