Yoko Kudo - A life like no other

* Chapter 3 *

I'm wide awake and go into the kitchen. Today we're going to the amusement park. I can hardly take it anymore. But it is only 7 o'clock and Mam said we would leave at 9 o'clock at the earliest. Another 2 hours, howl.

I go back upstairs with a glass of cocoa and change my clothes. Then I sit down at my desk again and stare at the picture of the boy. Did I really paint that? It looks so perfect.

All of a sudden I wake up from my brooding when my alarm clock starts beeping. I had completely forgotten that I had set it to 8.I turn it off and only now do I notice that my pens are still all over my desk. Since I have nothing better to do anyway, I put it away and am interrupted by Mam. She stands in the doorway and smiles at me. "Well, you are already awake, don't you expect it anymore?", She says and I nod very hard.

The time has come. We are there. It's just after 10 and the park has only just opened. During the trip I studied a brochure of the park and found out that there is a different star here every 2nd Saturday. And that's exactly a 2nd Saturday today. "I'm curious who's there." I keep saying and realize that I'm annoying my parents with that. Shortly after Mam has paid the entrance fee, I run to a large wall with a map of the entire park. In one corner is a picture next to it:

Cool! That is impossible. My greatest role model is here.Today at 2:00 p.m. I'm freaking out. "Who is this Tadama?" Asks my dad and I am amazed. "Now don't say that you don't know Minami Tadama," I say indignantly. That is impossible. My own father doesn't know Minami Tadama. "But I don't know.", He says and stares at me. "There is no such thing!" I reply. "You really don't know her. Well, you'll see and hear her afterwards!"

We're going on the roller coaster. Mam is getting sick and says she won't think about it again. Typical. Whenever it's really fun, she gets out. No matter. Dad and I go again. Then we want to eat and then make our way to the stage.

There she is! Right in front of me. Minami Tadama! I've been waiting for this all along. She sings 2 of my favorite songs. I hear her voice singing clearly and distinctly: "Tell me why is it so? Why can't I laught with you? I miss you so !." Breathtaking !!!

Unfortunately, I have to start again. But the moment counts.The moment when she stood right in front of me and her wonderful voice was clearer than ever. I want to be able to do that too!

My parents have decided to stroll through the park again and not do anything else. It's also logical. In this heat, nobody really has power anymore and everyone is exhausted. Mam buys me another ice cream, which I eat on the way to the car.

In the car, I think about everything again. It's actually a shame that Minami left immediately. At least she could have given an autograph session, right? If I ever perform there, I'll definitely do one. Ah! I look out the window and just stare at nature. I'm absolutely tired.

But suddenly: "Watch out, darling!" Shouts Mam and points to the street. I try to get up quickly and see that an animal is running across the street. I fly back and forth and bump my head into something and immediately become powerless.
