Inuyasha and Kagome have got to know each other better and so they want to go on the hunt for the shards of jewels together.

Inuyasha and the demon ran towards each other, Inuyasha swung Tessaiga and cut the demon in two.

Kagome, a little frightened, ran to the remains of the demon and looked for the jewel splinter, immediately afterwards she found the splinter and immediately put it to the others.
