Chapter 4: A Block Of Ice Thaws!
The next morning Hinako woke up very early and went to the bathroom.There she ran warm water and sat down in the tub. "Nice…"
she said, closing her eyes and relaxing.
At the same time Kai woke up and to his amazement, Strawberry lay next to him. "Well, little one!" said Kai with a smile. “Just lie there, I'm going to the bathroom!” Smiling, he laid the little cat on his pillow and quietly closed the door. Yawning, he went to the bathroom and changed in the anteroom. With a towel around his waist, he went into the bathroom and stopped. Hinako sat in the tub with his back turned to Kai and sang. She had a beautiful voice that cast a spell over Kai. Without really knowing what he was doing, he locked the door and walked a little closer to the singing girl.
Hinkao didn't notice Kai because she was completely focused on her singing.
"From a distance the world looks blue to green

Kai clapped softly."Beautiful!" he said and walked closer to Hinako. She was startled and grabbed a towel. "What are you doing here?"
"I actually wanted to take a bath, but the tub is occupied!" he said with a smile and turned around.
"Oh no, the tub is big enough for two people!" Hinkao said with a smile, without any ulterior motives.
Suddenly Kai noticed that he was way too nice to this girl and he turned around.
"Why do you think I would like to bathe with you, that's the last thing I want!" he said, cold as always, and unlocked the door. "And one more thing, I'll throw your miserable cat out of my room, what's she doing in my bed at all!" he said and slammed the door behind him.
"SHE LIKES YOU!" Hinako yelled after him. "Just like me ..." she added in her mind.

At the same time, Hinako got out of the tub and dried off. "What did I do wrong ???" she asked herself the whole time. She got dressed and then wanted to go to her room.
As she passed Kai's door, she got a strange feeling and her hands knocked softly on his door as if by themselves.

What she saw made her shine.
On the bed lay a sleeping Kai with her little Strawberry in his arms.
Hinako closed the door quietly and went to the bed and the sleeping quay. "Strawberry, are you sleeping my little one?" she said softly, and the little cat immediately opened its eyes when it heard its mistress."Well my little one, come here!" she said and spread her arms.
The little cat jumped into her arms and huddled against her chest. Kai, noticing the loss of warm fur immediately, opened one eye to see what had happened.
When he saw Hinako, how she cuddled with the little cat, he had to smile again and got up.
