I thank you for the lovely inspectors!
but I don't want to hold you up too long, so let's go:

Chapter 7 The fight begins

Over the next few days, Kagome's condition got better and better. She felt strong and showed everyone that she was healthy again. She also noticed Inuyasha getting more and more impatient. Even she could hardly persuade him to sleep.

Kaede had used all her inventiveness to dissuade the group from fighting the goblin again - it had to be one, because Kagome, Inuyasha and even this figure she had visited twice called him that - to fight. Unfortunately she didn't succeed, it was already a done deal. It should start the next day.

Meanwhile, Inuyasha secretly tried to sabotage all preparations. * It should be noon tomorrow at the earliest when they start. Maybe they won't catch up with me when I leave tonight! *
When evening came, everyone ate something again. They didn't know when they would come back here and it should be a nice end before we continued. Kaede was often absent in her mind. She thought about whether she shouldn't tell the others what she knew. Inuyasha, on the other hand, tried to find all possible reasons to be around Kagome. Sango and Miroku overlooked this on purpose. The young couple had given themselves away often enough in the meantime and they knew what was going on. Shippo, on the other hand, was jealous. So he was put to bed by Sango as fast as she could. * You should have one last nice evening again, this may be the last for the near future! *

Nevertheless, everyone went to bed very early. You wanted to be rested and ready the next day. Kagome went to his tree with Inuyasha. So as not to have to wear a shield over her chest. Had she decided, she would take Inuyasha in her arms to sleep by his tree that night. The next morning began. Kagome blinked her eyes and immediately noticed that something was wrong. When she noticed, she shot up out of bed as if something had stung her. She was in Kaede's hut! Why? Had Inuyasha brought her here? But where was he then ...? There was something panic about her look. He wasn't ... The rest of the small group, which had already got ready and wanted to leave soon, looked at her questioningly. Kagome ignored it and looked around searchingly. She even ran to the tree and back again. “Where is Inuyasha?” Since nobody knew, only Kaede could guess where Inuyasha was, Miroku said with a smile: “Don't worry, it will catch up with us during the day. It happened a lot! cried, she knew he wouldn't catch up with her. He had broken his promise and went looking alone.

The Hanyou, who could not be found, was already a few miles away from the village at that time. He didn't dare give a thought to Kagome. It hurt himself too much to have to leave her like this. He only had one thing in mind. "I'll find this goblin and hunt it down!" he called out loud to distract himself.
A long way off he came to a mountain range. Strange! It hadn't rained anywhere in the country in ages, but over these mountains clouds hung black as night. He could smell that it should be raining here at any moment. Not only that, he could smell that goblin's disgusting smell as well.
So he had made it. The goblin had to be here!

A little way away from Inuyasha, at the foot of one of the mountains, stood this black figure again. "So Kaede didn't manage to dissuade him from coming here. I've changed so much, maybe he'll make it after all." She decided to follow him and watch. The wind was anyway so that he could not have noticed them.

The hanyou now followed the goblin's scent. It went deeper and deeper into the mountains. As night fell, Inuyasha slowed a little. "It is probably better that I go to sleep again tonight, even if the dream catches up with me again." He looked for a sheltered spot, sat down, held Tessaiga tightly in his hand and soon fell asleep in this position.

From the outside you could see Inuyasha entering the dream phase. He became more restless because he knew what dream he would experience again. The black figure that followed him went towards the sleeping Hanyou. Carefully she put a hand on his cheek and whispered: “It's over, rest and gather your strength!” She had hardly spoken when he calmed down again and looked as peaceful in his sleep as ever.

When the sun was long behind the clouds, Inuyasha woke up. He felt more rested than he had in a long time. After stretching, he saw that breakfast was in front of him.A little puzzled about it, he sniffed as if he suspected it was poisoned. But everything was fine and he ate. Immediately afterwards he went on.

The goblin's smell grew stronger and stronger. Inuyasha, quickly jumped in the direction he was coming from. Shortly after the forest that grew on the lower third of the mountains ended, he saw him too. That little creature that attracted Kagome so much.

"What do you want here?" he heard a small squeaky voice say.
"Your shards of jewels and vengeance for what you did to Kagome!" Inuyasha yelled back.
"It took you a long time to find me. It will be an easy game!" The Hanyou got ready to fight. The little goblin, on the other hand, isn't. He laughed. "I only fight when I have no other choice ..." At that moment it started to rain. The little one had raised his hands and it looked like he was opening the clouds and letting out all the rain that the country had been missing the last few weeks. It was going to be a violent storm. The rain shot down the mountains in rapidly growing streams. The Hanyou could barely stand on its feet, all the ground under its feet was washed away. The goblin, on the other hand, floated over the sweeping masses of water. * I just have to hold out until all the water has poured out, with the amounts it can't take too long! * More and more boulders and earth slid towards the valley. Inuyasha jumped and jumped up again and again, because he slipped into the valley. The goblin, on the other hand, just laughed to himself.

After a few hours, when the rain had slowly subsided and Inuyasha's strength was nearing its end (he had really struggled not to be dragged into the valley), the little one looked at him. "I have been told that you are a stubborn dog. Maybe I'll still have my fun after all! Best of all, I would first introduce myself ..." With his last sentence, the goblin's voice became deeper and deeper and he turned back into the great demon."My name is Takuan and I am ruler of the clouds and the rain!"

With a small movement of the hand the demon now had an inconspicuous wooden stick in his hand. But Inuyasha felt the staff had just as much power in it as the jewel shard the youkai had. * Is there a splinter in there too? *
The fight should now begin. Inuyasha tried wildly to beat his opponent. This fought him off with ease. The Hanyou tried harder and harder, but did not want to get a hit. After a while he pulled Tessaiga and wanted to use the windscar. At that moment Takuan jumped into the valley.

"Does this sight scare you a little?" Inuyasha called after him arrogantly as always and followed him. Despite its size, the demon was not easy to spot in the forest that was there. But he didn't have to look far either. Takuan came towards him again and wanted to attack. The hanyou responded quickly and swung Tessaiga in the direction of the wind scar.Shortly before it could hit, however, Takuan moved to the side and the attack flew into space.

Inuyasha looked up and couldn't understand anything. * How could he avoid this attack? This is not possible! * The demon, however, prepared again for a new attack in the direction of Inuyasha.

A light flew past the Hanyou and Takuan dodged. "You are still alive? I underestimated you human woman!"

Kagome slowly calmed down. “Maybe you're right, Miroku, and he'll catch up with us!” Kagome herself didn't believe what she was saying, but they still had to go slowly. She took a very quick step so that the others struggled to keep up with her.

Towards evening they stopped for a rest. Miroku and Sango made the night camp, Kagome prepared the food and Shippo tried very hard to keep the group happy. Since Kagome had kept up her speed all day, everyone was tired and went to sleep immediately after eating. They hadn't slept an hour before Kagome startled. She had had a dream similar to the one Inuyasha had told her about. But then in the fight she heard a voice that drowned out everything: "He won't make it without your help!". Kagome couldn't have known that Inuyasha knew that voice too, but hadn't told her about it.
The girl knew, she just felt that the voice in her dream was not meant for this one, but Inuyasha really had to be in danger. But where should you go to find him? She closed her eyes again. The voice, Kagome hoped, could tell her where to go. She concentrated and spoke into the darkness: "Please tell me where to find him!" no answer was heard. Kagome waited and then pleaded again. “Please tell me!” A tear ran down her face. Suddenly she heard: "Go in the direction of the mountains."
She opened her eyes again. Now she not only knew where Inuyasha was, it seemed as if she had also established a connection with him.

Kagome quickly woke the others. “We have to go on!” She was looked at sleepily. "What now? We just lay down!" replied Sango tiredly. “Please trust me, Inuyasha is in danger, he will need our help, we have to go to him!” Even if no one could even guess how Kagome knew that, they followed her after the camp was cleared.

Kagome went faster and faster. She had pushed her tiredness away. It was very difficult for the others to follow her. Shippo had already sat on Sango's shoulder just to stick with it.

The girl realized that they were going far too slowly and that Inuyasha was way too far ahead. "Sango, call Kirara, otherwise we won't make it!" That was her last chance. Hopefully Kirara would hear her. Sango had
