The Dragonfighter

The next morning I woke up and had a look around before I went out somewhere, because it could always have been that guys like that turn up again.
"Tomorrow!", Yugi said and had got some loaves from the pantry or something. I didn't care either, the main thing was something to eat.
"What do we do now? I mean, we can't just sit around here without doing anything! Or what do you mean, Zippo?"
"Zip zip!" He made and nodded.
"Yes, I know that too! I'm still thinking about it, but you can pack the things. We're off."
"And where?"
"To the other castles and kings. We have to tell them everything and warn them about the guys. With so many people at once, they have never attacked, and certainly not directly."
At first I looked a little suspicious, but then I started packing the things that are needed. Speak food, drink and things. Zippo helped me as best he could. Meanwhile, Yugi looked for weapons to take with you.He brought a sword and a bow.
"And who uses which weapon?" I asked him with a funny look.

"Oh ...", that sounded really great. We walked down the avenue again and into the great forest. It looked like a jungle. Lianas and scrub hung everywhere. They were large trees that alternated with smaller trees and bushes. It was a narrow beaten path on which we walked and I kept wondering if Yugi wasn't getting lost either. But Zippo seemed to trust him too.However, after a short time he made himself comfortable in the backpack. That made things so much easier.
All sorts of questions occurred to me that annoyed Yugi with.
"It's slowly getting dark. It would be best if we set up camp here for today.", Yugi explained to me and put down his weapons.
"You don't want to pitch a tent here in the deepest jungle. You don't mean it now! Or?"
"Why a tent? We don't have one. We have to make a place to sleep and light a fire so that the monsters stay away."
"The monsters? Please what monsters? Are you kidding me?" I asked him, not at all enthusiastic about his suggestion.
"Are you afraid of the tsunami?" He asked and grinned at me nastily.
"Me and fear ?! Pah! You would like that! But you can forget! I'm not afraid."

Yugi just had to laugh. I blushed slightly because I was a little embarrassed. But what the heck what could happen to you here?Of course, I always had ulterior motives that didn't leave me alone.

"We have a full moon, what's so special about it?" I asked Zippo, but Zippo kept tugging at me and told me like that, look carefully, when I did I saw that the moon was slowly turning blood red .

"But why all of a sudden? I thought we should set up camp here?" I asked him now, a little taken by surprise.
"You will see that soon enough. Come on quickly, we have to get off the road here. Hurry up!"
We cleared everything together as quickly as possible, Zippo also gave a lot of help, even if he wasn't that strong in his small form. We ran deeper into the forest and hid behind a large, dense bush, but it had mighty thorns that I kept scratching myself.Suddenly I heard horses coming closer. Getting closer. Then I saw her. The guys who must have attacked the castle. I was frightened and suddenly they stopped. One dismounted.
“I can feel something here.” He came closer, I was so scared.
"Tsunami, don't be afraid, he'll feel it otherwise.", Yugi whispered to me. However, I couldn't stop shaking. He slid over to me and pressed his hand over my mouth again, holding me tight.
"Do not be afraid. I am you and I will not leave you alone.", He whispered, I felt a little more secure, even if it did not help all that much. The guy was now standing right in front of the bushes. I thought he would find us any minute now and kill us, but he turned back and got on his horse. Yugi still didn't let go of me. He had to have a lot of trust in me, I thought to myself. Pretend I'm going to scream or something.
"I must have been wrong," said the guy and they rode on.On the wagons that followed you could see a lot of food and drink, also things and other stuff. Suddenly Zippo ran away and into the street. I wanted to stop him, but it was too late. He jumped up on one of the wagons and was gone. When it was all over, we both went out on the street again. I looked after them and thought of Zippo.
"Why did he run away?" I asked myself and Yugi too, but he couldn't give me an answer either. We turned around and went on, but suddenly there were calls.
"Ziiiiip ziiiiip zip zip ziiiiip!" And Zippo came running. He had something in his mouth.
I took him in my arms and Yugi took the bracelet from him.
"What is that?" I asked him.
"My mother's bracelet."
"Oh ...", I thought the rest. He looked so sad I didn't want to hurt him any more.
"It's all right Tsunami. You can say what you want to say. I have resigned myself to the idea that I will probably never see her again.We have to go on. "
After a short time you could see fire from a distance. They must have set a village on fire.
"Shit! Come on, we have to go there quickly," I said, pulling at him.
We ran to it and only walked through charred streets. All the houses were burned down. You couldn't see people either. Most likely they either died, fled, or were arrested.

"What do we do with the little one now?" I asked Yugi.
"How am I supposed to know. We have to take it to one of the kings, there it will be safest."I thought he looked really cute with the baby in his arms. Really cute. Zippo also looked very closely at the baby and fooled around, making it laugh or smile more because it seemed very young.

"Doesn't matter now, we have to move on. We can't stay here.", He said and grabbed the things and went ahead. I stopped for a moment and looked around. I was still stunned that someone could allow such a thing. Didn't want to and couldn't understand it. From that moment on, I vowed to fight to put an end to it all. Then I ran after Zippo and Yugi, still holding the child in my arms. It fell asleep in my arm. It was so cute
"Why did it take you so long?" He grumbled to me again. However, I didn't care.
"Who is actually responsible for all of this there?Who do these guys belong to? Or is that a gang? "
"They belong with great certainty to the future. Because who else should be interested in ordering something like this. Who could still benefit from it?", He wasn't sure either. After another mile of walking we finally found a suitable place to sleep. At least that's what Yugi thought. Again we were in a forest, but it was even darker than the other. Here everything was only dark, you couldn't even see the moon from here, nothing at all. I was really scared, of course I didn't want to show that to anyone, although I think that Zippo had noticed. Yugi lit a fire and grabbed some leaves, on which he then lay down and tried to fall asleep. I followed him because I had never done anything like it before. It wasn't terrifying to me. Zippo lay down with me. Extra very tight. He was so cute when he slept. I put the baby very close to me and covered it with a blanket beforehand.Zippo always kept a watchful eye on it, too.
I was scared all along. My whole body is shaking.
-Krack ... Krack ...- suddenly made something out of the forest near me. I got up, drenched in sweat, and was scared. But it didn't seem to have been anything. But suddenly a breath of air blew the rest of the small fire out. Darkness. Everywhere darkness. In my head my thoughts went in circles and nothing came of it. I stood there with a stick in hand. This scene reminded me of the one in Waldallee. I was like a stone. Immobile.
But then someone grabbed me from behind. Since I couldn't see who it was, I hit it with a stick. However, I seemed to have missed. I just kept hearing - crack ... crack -
Then someone held a cloth in front of my nose and I felt like I passed out. I wrestled with him, but I could only elicit a little soft scream before I passed out."Zip? What's going on now?" Thought the little creature and saw someone trying to pull away Tsunami.
"Grrr !!", it did and the eyes turned blood red again and the wings turned back into the silver colored fur.
"Let go of her!" He growled and knocked the attacker down.
"What's going on, Zippo?" Asked Yugi, who had woken up from the noise. "Hey who are you?" He asked the figure while lighting a torch. He also re-lit the campfire.
"Another guy like that?" He asked Zippo.
"I don't think so. He looks more like one of those fat bounty hunters," he growled, showing the fat lump his teeth.
"What was that supposed to be? Who hired you, ass?", Yugi asked him and grabbed his collar.
