The dream

"Tell me?", Tea asked, the elbows on the table and her head in her hands. “What are we doing on vacation?” Joey raised his right eyebrow: “It'll take a while until then.” “I know,” said Tea. “But shouldn't you know beforehand what you're doing?” Yugi had meanwhile left behind the menu when Tea started on the subject of “Holidays”. "You're bored, aren't you?" Ryou asked. Tea lifted her head and looked out the window: "No. Not really." Joey took the card from Yugi: "Do you have something to contribute to the topic?" Yugi shook his head. "I think he's more interested in memorizing the map," said Marik. Joey grinned slightly at these words. Ryou stood up: "Today you were talking again."
"Are you going?", Tea asked, her eyes still fixed on the street in front of the cafe. "Could it be ...", Joey began. "... that you're staring into the jeweler's shop window?"Tea turned her head in a flash:" No! " " So until tomorrow! ", Ryou called and left the others.
"Bye.", Yugi replied. "It's a shame that we meet and leave so early," said Tea. "If you don't say anything, then we can't say anything either." replied Marik. "Oh. I'm really tired." distracted Tea. "Aren't we all?", Joey asked the group. And it was true. Every now and then one could hear a yawn from everyone present. "If that's okay with you. Then I'll go too. I still have a lot to do.", Marik explained. Tea sighed softly. "Goodbye.", Joey said when Marik was halfway out the door. Yugi and Joey also left Tea after a while. After a cup of tea, she let her tiredness run free.

Tea opened her eyes jerkily. With a quick look around the girl recognized where she was. An amusement park? Or so it seemed. It all looked so old and deserted. She stared into her right hand: a jackknife. The student looked back and walked to the exit. The door didn't move an inch no matter how hard you tried to pull on it. It was pretty dark. But with the flashlight on her jacket, Tea was able to illuminate the area a little. Although she didn't know exactly where that lamp and knife came from. But something was pushing her to find out. Tea went deeper into the park. Strange cuddly toys sat on the floor and on the benches. Pink stuffed rabbits with bloody mouths. "Disgusting.", Tea thought. The girl swallowed. These stuffed animals turned out to be costumes and probably nobody here and now would want to find out what was hidden under these costumes. She was looking for another way out. Tea opened a huge gate and came into a rotunda. A strange looking dog came up here and ate around her leg. Tea used the knife reflexively against the creature. The dog had putrid old leash ties around its body.Without really knowing, she stabbed the infernal animal more times until it finally lay unconscious on the floor. Tea stepped on the creature again to test whether it was really dead. Only now did the student realize what she had done. The girl kept running and tried to open the doors, but all of them had broken locks. Then she came to a door with a sign next to it: ENTRANCE MOUNTAIN AND VALLEY RAILWAY.
Tea tried to open up. It went! With a swallow she went into the dark room. And again a monster came towards her! It was huge. With clubs for arms. Tea ran through a small iron door. The monster didn't follow her. She probably hadn't seen it. Or was it just too stupid to run after her?
Her breathing became harder. Beads of sweat stood on her forehead. But she went on. On another sign, Tea could read that the stairs opposite led to the roller coaster platform. She hesitated for a moment. But remembered the monsters she had seen and ran up the stairs as fast as possible. The control room was locked. Tea saw that from the penultimate step. The student thought for a moment and then touched her head. "I'm so stupid," she whispered softly. “I'm totally trapped now.” Her gaze fell on the tracks of the train. A large piece had broken out to the right, but it would have been easy to walk to the left. Tea tried. She went out onto the tracks and continued on her way to the left. After the first corner she could hear loud eating noises, but her legs led her further. The noises stopped. Tea took another step. Then she heard another sound. It was getting closer. Then she saw two headlights. A wagon came towards her! Where? She jumped ...

Tea startled: “It was a dream.” Relieved, she noticed that she was still in the cafe. Next to her the empty teacup. The girl touched her head: “Oh thank God.” She got up. "But why, did I then feel this pain in my leg as badly as if it were real?" Asked himself silently. The student left the cafe. The sunlight blinded her so much that she had to close her eyes. It took time, but then they opened again. Tea went to a phone booth. She sat down: "What does that mean? That dream ... it was pretty confusing. If ... it was a dream at all." She rolled up her right pant leg. Nothing. Tea let out a delighted breath. She pulled her clothes back right and then stood up. "I guess it was just a nightmare," thought the student as she stood on the sidewalk again. Tea continued on her way.
