I look through the rain
in the light of the moon
how could it come to this
I do not get it!

You left me,
without a word of goodbye
for that I should hate you now
but I can't do it.

Loneliness gnaws at my soul
I can not live without you,
the knife is at my throat
but does not move yet.

I think of the time
that I spent with you
I think of this togetherness
and the time I was still laughing.

Tears run down my face
I can't take this pain!
I'll put an end to it
will hurt myself one day!

The knife now close to my throat
i still think about you
do you notice that i will soon be missing in life?

it slowly slides on its side,
I don't feel the pain anymore
my life seems like a roomdark, wide and empty.

Finally I sink to the ground
will I finally be free?
My hands filled with tears and blood
feel like a hot ember now,
they knock for a few minutes,
how a heart wants life
but now I lie there, lifeless and still,
my last thought, it was you!
