Fanfic: Sylnuiva al`Fey

Subtitle: Sturm auf Burg Draisch 1

Chapter: Storm on Draisch Castle

Hi Guys!
This is my first fanfic! It is mainly about me * g * the vampire queen Sylnuiva al`Fey! The story begins in Askalon (a parallel world to our world) and there is war going on right now! The necromancers (also called death callers) want to conquer the realms of Askalon and plunge into darkness. The vampires, elves, elves and dwarves have now teamed up to defy the undead armies of the necromancers! The vampire queen Sylnuiva and her two friends the archangel Quon Darek de Alth and the lord of the undead Necromanus del Ruth are the three heroes of the story!
Accompany her on her journey in the fight against the necromancers, which she even goes back to our world and time (Sylnuiva even back to school * gg * (the poor one is already around 1000 years old) which of course leads to all sorts of entanglements). ..

That said, let's start!

Storm on Draisch Castle

Sylnuiva, exhausted, lowered her sword and looked up. The battlefields were still dense around them. The section of wall she had fought on all day looked terrible. Killed ghouls and feydrim lay all over the battlements. Their warriors also lowered their weapons. The wild and at the same time suicidal wave of attacks by their undead opponents finally subsided after hours. If the vampire queen Sylnuiva al'Fey and her warriors had fought against mortals or at least against opponents who were like her, almost immortal and armed with the ability to heal almost every wound, no matter how terrible, it would be the young vampire queen was sure that she could win this fight. She had gathered the best warriors of the vampire people at Draisch Castle. But the problem was that the number of their opponents seemed inexhaustible! Although she and her fighters had fought on the walls and battlements of the castle for weeks and had raged terribly among the attackers, their number had not fallen noticeably. After those long days and weeks in which she had stood on the walls most of the time, encouraging both her warriors and the other defenders of the castle and fighting as only a rakhi like her could even she noticed how the source of dark power and magic within her had become weaker and weaker. Such a thing would never have happened in a normal battle, because every vampire who was reasonably warlike could seize the life energy and the strength of his dying opponent. But that was exactly one of their biggest problems. Their opponents had been violently torn from their graves not only undeath but also without any vital energy. The few ghouls who still had a little life energy were animated by such gloomy power that any attempt by a vampire to add this rebellious, life-averse energy of their own ended badly. Sylnuiva had already had to kill many of her warriors himself in the last few days and weeks, as they had attacked their own comrades as if inspired by this malevolent energy.Just an hour ago the vampire queen had to kill her centuries-long friend Siell de Illida with her bare hands, because he jumped at her with a crazy gleam in his eyes, knocked the sword out of her hand and beheaded her in the same movement had, she would not have jumped lightning fast in the protection of a kite pillars behind her. Fortunately for her, his sword was wedged in the hard rock, but the blow was still enough to knock off the wing of one of the stone dragons. Then she had to break his neck and ram her dagger into his heart to stay alive. Syl was still trembling at the thought of how close she had come to death this time. Also, the blood of one of her best friends was still on her hands. But even these terrible incidents were not her biggest problem. Because there was simply the fact that their opponents, unlike them, knew no pain. That also made it difficult to stop their opponents at all. Sylnuiva startled at this dark thought. Hadn't she heard a noise just then? Syl looked around and was just able to escape the unguided sword blow with which a ghoul tried to kill her. She jumped back into the shelter of one of the pillars. With a fluid, quick movement she raised her sword herself and faked a lightning-fast movement on the sword hand of her opponent and then switched the sword from the right to the left hand in order to behead the ghoul with a complicated twist of her sword Seulaslintan. This tactic would have worked with any good fighter. Only, the ghoul was a being that neither thought nor fought according to the rules of swordsmanship. Regardless of Sylnuiva's tactics, he fell forward, throwing himself into her sword, but in the same movement lowered his sword and thrust it through Sylnuiva's chest. The two dissimilar opponents fell to the ground. The ghoul stopped moving. Seulaslintan, Sylnuiva's sword, had led him back into the gentle expanses of death, and for good. That ghoul would never rise from the dead again. But Sylnuiva also groaned in pain. The sword slipped from her hands and dark mist enveloped her. Her consciousness slipped deeper and deeper into the alluring darkness and also the hellish pain slowly subsided. This time she wasn't going to fight death. She had seen too much suffering in the past few days. She would follow Siell into death. This time, after all these years, she would finally feel the deep peace that only death can bring. She would never have to fight again. The vampire no longer resisted the peaceful lure of death. But suddenly the pain flared up again. She felt the sword pull out of her body with a jerk. Every nerve in her body seemed to be on fire. She screamed in pain and angry!Who dared to disturb them now? Now that she had finally achieved peace. She noticed how someone slapped her face with the flat of his hand, so that her nose was bleeding too. But this violent blow brought her to herself again. The pain was still raging wildly through her body, but now she no longer feared it. She knew through him that she was still alive and she also realized again why she was fighting against the army of the dead callers, the necromancers, here at Draisch Castle. With her eyes closed, Sylnuiva focused on the deep wound in her chest and felt the broken rib bones and her muscles and flesh come back together fiber by fiber. It was fast, but not quite as fast as she was used to. Another sign of exhaustion. And the pain also subsided faster and faster. Finally her regeneration was so far complete and she opened her eyes to close them again in mock horror."I must be dead!", She groaned, "Although, they wouldn't even let a guy like you into hell anymore!" Harsh laughter from her friend the Archangel Quon Darek de Alth answered her jokingly meant words! When she opened her eyes again, she looked into the grinning face of her fellow combatant. "Well, are you going to be old, great vampire queen, or was that just a tactic to scare the ghouls, when you get up with your sword in your stomach and join their ranks in the fight against us, and then later defeat them all by yourself? "The worried look in her friend's eyes belied his mocking words. It must have really taken her a long time to recover. Quon turned and pointed to her sword. "You should better pick up Seulaslintan and take it with you! The others are already waiting in the great hall. You should also hurry up a bit, unless you want your people to kill themselves all to follow you into your supposed death!""He waited until she had actually got up and put her sword back in her belt. Then he gave her another worried look, then drew his own sword Vento and took her place on the wall. Sylnuiva was not yet completely in the Returned to reality and looked at him accordingly confused and blankly. "What did you just say? "Your friend rolled his eyes in annoyance." By Durnach's hammer! "he cursed," Syl what is wrong with you? I told you to go to the great hall. Negromanus and the others are already waiting. They want to discuss the situation. "He grimaced in agony." Well, as far as the situation can still be discussed! "He pointed with a sweeping gesture at the walls and battlements, which they could see from where they were! Sylnuiva's eyes were the same everywhere. Everywhere there were crooked corpses of ghouls and a few of the defenders in between Dead from their own ranks were elves and elves as well as undead fighters of Negromanus, the lord of the underworld, and to her horror she also saw one or the other lifeless body of her vampires lying on the walls."Go on!", The archangel at her side began to nag. When Sylnuiva turned to leave, he held her back again. "Oh Syl, you should rest a little! Get some sleep at last!" He interrupted himself when he saw her piercing look and started again. "Listen, Syl, don't look at me so poisonously! I know you're worried about the outcome of the battle." "But ..." Sylnuiva tried to stifle his words. "No but Syl! You can't spend every night on the walls! I know you are the best vampire warrior we have and your sword has saved the neck of almost all of us, but it doesn't do us any good if you're dead in an hour ! Now go in and talk to Negromanus and Enkil the Afraid Elf before he suffers a nervous breakdown. This Elf is still driving me crazy with his doomsday predictions "Sylnuiva just wanted to reply something but the Archangel gave her no opportunity:" And even if you Syl is strangling me, I won't leave you on the walls until you've slept for at least ten hours.Stop before you say something against it again! I will represent you personally! Now get out of here and get some blood from somewhere, because you already look as pale as one of those disgusting ghouls! And if you have to transform yourself into a bat and fly to the next human village to look for a victim! "He looked at her sternly and put on an expression that reminded Syl of her father's face when he wanted to make it clear to her that there was no contradiction! The vampire queen still wanted to contradict and tell him that she would definitely not choose a bat shape when The next wave of attack by the
