The little ones were lying on the ground and were just getting up again when the mother snapped them both and ran up the slope as quickly as possible.She quickly disappeared back into the forest. The wolf family no longer noticed any of this.
When the old she-wolf got back to her den, she was greeted by the others.

Aika didn't answer. She just went into the cave. There she packed Wolfsblut and the other puppy.
"What was that supposed to mean?" She growled angrily.
