The chirping of birds woke her up. Kagome slowly opened his eyes. The sun shone warm on her face and made her want more. So she got out of bed, went to the window and opened it so that fresh morning air blew through her room.
3 days ... 3 days she hadn’t seen Inuyasha. She missed him terribly, she could feel it. But she couldn't go back - and he wouldn't come for her! Inuyasha probably even thought she didn't want to see him. That was not true at all. She would forgive him again and again - no matter what that meant to her. But she couldn't help but ignore all of his small - and bigger - quirks or find them nothing. After all, she loved him for it. Pride was a terrible thing!
Still - Kagome looked at her desk, where a small splinter of the Shikon no Tama was locked in a small glass.The others, Sango, Miroku, Shippo and Inuyasha would certainly need it. ° Will Inuyasha get him? ° Kagome sighed. Maybe. But she wanted him to come to see her, not to get the splinter back! (Menno, the whole ff is so far reminiscent of the episode "The place where we met" * pouting *)
Kagome went slowly and lost in thought into the bathroom, washed and dressed. At breakfast with her mother, grandpa and little brother Souta, she hardly said a word. The two "men" were of course almost bursting with curiosity, but Kagome's mother kept them from being too pushy.
Without paying special attention to her surroundings, Kagome got up, put on her shoes and went outside - without saying a word. Souta and Grandpa looked at each other in amazement. "What's wrong with Sister? Otherwise she's not so calm either." And the old man replied: "She's pretending to have a louse run over her liver.Do you know more? "With these words he turned to Kagome's mother. But she just smiled at him friendly and meaningless.

Kagome was now on the way to school. She would be way too early, but that didn't matter. In fact, she didn't really care about school. Only Inuyasha spat in her head anyway. She sighed deeply.

Inuyasha was just turning the corner when he suddenly saw Kagome. Suddenly it was boiling hot over him. ° Oh my goodness: What should I do if she's still angry and doesn't want to return?What if she never wants to see me again? ° Inuyasha looked out of the shrine again. ° Kagome ... She looks so sad ... ° Shit, now he had already come to see her, and now he didn't dare to look her in the eye ... He leaned a little further to see Kagome better. Unfortunately a little too far ...

Kagome was just walking across the yard when she suddenly heard a loud crash that ripped her out of her thoughts pretty quickly. "What to ..." ° Hmm ... the noise seems to be coming from the Higurashi Shrine ... Could it be something ... is Inuyasha something ...? ° Then she shook her head. ° No, I doubt it. Inuyasha wouldn't show up anytime soon ° (quickly ... pff - after 3 days). Nevertheless, she had become curious - and even if she did not want to admit it, she secretly hoped that Inuyasha had come ...

"Damn" Inuyasha had leaned against a rotten piece of wood - it had probably once been a chair - and the stupid thing had actually broken apart!Inuyasha struggled to suppress a groan. Great. The noise had been so loud that it would wake even a person with poorer hearing than a youkai or a hanyou. That said, Kagome would find him here, provided she checked to see what had made the noise. Inuyasha peered carefully through the door. ° Shit, she's actually coming! What am I doing now? ... ° He looked around and suddenly he noticed a small, separated area. For whatever reason, he was suddenly scared of meeting Kagome. With one leap he jumped behind the curtain (which separated the area).

Kagome ran towards the shrine. She pushed open the door carefully and peered inside. No, Inuyasha didn't seem to be here. She was almost about to leave when she suddenly heard a suppressed cough from a dark corner of the room. When she listened more closely, however, she heard nothing more. ° Strange.I could have sworn that there was something ..... there! Yet again! And it comes from the corner there ... ° single-mindedly she went to the curtain and pushed it aside ...
