13. Transformation
It was already after midnight when Gohan woke up because he had to go to the bathroom. Yawning, the little one got up and padded to the edge of the cliff to pee down. "What am I doing? I can never jump down here! I will starve to death." Son Gohan pityed himself again as he peered over the edge. But he was quickly distracted by something else. "Oh, it's very light tonight! Suddenly something was different. As if hypnotized, Son Gohan stared into the moon and suddenly he could feel his own heartbeat very intensely.
Piccolo, still hovering in the air above him, did not miss any movement from the boy.He was surprised to see what was going on down there. Gohan stared at the moon for seconds, then suddenly his canine teeth lengthened, he got fur and grew up with a deafening roar while he transformed into a huge armed monkey.
The devil watched the spectacle in disbelief.
