Chapter: My life

Hy, everyone!
Here is a new FF from me that I hope you guys will like. This is the first time I am writing from the point of view of a character. Of course I hope for clerks from you! So just ran to the keyboard! ^^
In any case, have fun reading!

My life

It's night. The stars are covered by the dark clouds. Only the pale moon shines weakly, and thus illuminates the street a little. A light wind blows and makes the leaves sway on the trees.
It is cold. I can see my breath turning into a breath. In spite of everything I go on. Always careful not to be seen, I took one step in front of the others. Fortunately, this street was not very crowded. Who knows what else they would think of me. I continue to work my way cautiously. I briefly dare to look back. My comrades show me that I should go on. It's easy for them to talk! After all, they're safe. If someone showed up, they could hide away with ease. But I would be more than conspicuous. So everyone would figure out what I -or. we - intended. So extreme caution!
I walk slowly down the street. It's kind of scary. I just hope that I can get to the street corner as soon as possible. Although I do this almost every night, it still scares me a little every time. But you can't get used to everything. That's why I'm grateful that at least the moon serves as a pale source of light.
I am getting closer and closer to my goal, and my nervousness is getting bigger. Hopefully this will all be over soon. At last! There is the Kurfe. I hurriedly stepped behind a tree. I briefly checked the area until I made sure that no one was watching me. When this was done, I put out a hand and gave a sign. My comrades came to me in a hurry. Of course it was easier for them because I gave them cover. Everyone gathered next to me.My best friend, Christine slapped me on the shoulder in praise. If she only knew how terrified I was. Adam looks at me proudly too. Since I was the last one to join the group, they thought I could do a lot. With justification. Next to me, Joel crouched on the grass and took out a laptop. No idea where he got this from. Probably stolen from somewhere. With him it is not to be expected otherwise. He and David look curiously at the screen.
After the six of us were together, Ken spoke up:
"As we discussed! David, you go ahead. Adam and Christine follow you and climb over the fence. Be careful! He must have more surveillance cameras than a bank. After you have secured a certain area, Joel comes to you," and will turn off the alarm system. Meanwhile Rachel and I will keep the dogs busy from the other side. So we can go into the house undisturbed.
All nodded in agreement. Our boss, as we call him, has hatched this plan.It wasn't exactly life insurance, but you could survive it. What worried me more than the Paln was the dogs. These aren't exactly my favorite animals! I hated her from an early age. Because when I was a little kid, I lost my mother to a bloodthirsty dog. I've hated dogs ever since. My body literally trembles when I see them. Anxiety. Yes i'm afraid of them. I don't know why It must have something to do with my past. Certainly not all dogs are like in my memories. But I try to avoid any contact with them.
And of course Ken knows this. And I am supposed to keep these mutts from attacking the others. But he is not serious. He always buzzes me with such tasks just because I have cat ears. Yeah right, cat ears! He thinks that the dogs ˝react better to me that way. I don't know if this will work.Anyway, I hope I'll survive. Because you don't break into a huge villa every day that is teeming with warning signs. But you couldn't do anything. A job is a job.
As I said, David raced into the darkness. The building was not yet in sight. Ken was of the opinion that we should briefly discuss everything again from a safe distance before we start. During our conversation a thick fog came up, which offered us perfect protection. Not a minute had passed before Adam and Christine started sprinting. An uncomfortable feeling spread inside me. Should I really ...
I winced, startled. Ken tapped my shoulder. Angry, I wanted to raise my voice, but he showed me that I should be quiet. I didn't have any other choice. With a wave of his hand he showed me that I should follow him. Do we have to go now? Can't we wait a little longer? However, Ken didn't pretend to wait a second for me.So I reluctantly follow him.
The thick fog didn’t make orientation any easier. My steps are speeding up so I don't lose Ken. Because one mistake and I'm done for. As we walked across the damp meadow, the property we were looking for became more and more visible. It's a huge house. No, I wouldn't call that a house. More like a villa or a castle. A high fence separated the grass from the grass. The front yard was adorned with small trees and hedges, and a gravel path led from the front gate to the door. The building looked a bit creepy, however. The dark stones that made up the building weren't exactly welcome. As if Count Dracula lived here personally. I have no idea why Ken always wants to rob such abandoned buildings.
Christine has made thorough inquiries about the house and its occupants that we are supposed to break into. It is said to belong to a very rich man who lives here with his grandchildren. The old man's name is Voltair, and he's running a company called Biovolt. 78 years old, and is said to be very cold-hearted. However, she could not learn much about his two grandchildren.
Meanwhile we reached the fence. There are many trees nearby, so there are plenty of hiding spots. I took a deep breath behind one of these trees. I have to go through it for better or for worse. At first I even argued with Ken. He threw me at my head that I was a coward and that I let my feelings guide me that there was no place here. So it is clear that I want to prove him wrong. But my senses tell me to go back. So I don't know what to do. File not the best if I just let it come to me.
I notice Ken rummaging in his backpack next to me. I'm sure he's looking for the meat that I should throw to the dogs. Adam poisoned it. He's got along with things like that.In his opinion, the dogs won't sound the alarm if they eat it. Swallowing hard, I watch my companion as he hand me the big piece. Great! I'm about to get into the crisis! Sighing, I take the meat.
"It's easier if you jump over from the trees!"
He can talk easily! He doesn't have to face numerous dogs face to face. Nevertheless I follow his advice and jump onto a branch with a jump.
"And what are you going to do?" I asked my comrade skeptically, since he has not done anything big so far.
“I'll give you your back!” His funny grinning face made me even more uneasy. Since I didn't want to waste any time, I already chose a tree that I can get to. Without further ado, I make up my mind and start jumping right away. Like a feather, I land safely on the branch. This will cause the leaves of the tree to rattle. It doesn't get any louder than that! I land on the floor with a swing and bend my knees.Immediately my breath catches. My muscles are stiffening. I feel the pure fear rise in me, and I can hardly hold back the trembling. I feared that. One of the guard dogs stood in front of me. It wasn't very big, but it was enough to scare me to death. He looks at me attentively. Fortunately there weren't any more, otherwise I wouldn't have screamed out loud. The small, brown eyes study me carefully from head to toe. But what amazes me that he doesn't attack. Apparently he's waiting for me to move. Swallowing hard, I look at Ken. With hasty han movements he wants to make it clear to me that I should throw the fish to the dog.
I look at the dog again. I feel my throat constrict and I can barely breathe. I could feel the fear in every phase of my body. Hardly knowing what I was doing, I grabbed the cold piece of something that was lying next to me. The mutt didn't move a bit. With his ears turned forward, he looked at my throat.I had no choice. Because if I pinch and run away now, the beast will tear me apart. Besides, the whole action would fall into itself, and my friends can see each other again in prison. I definitely didn't want that. So I try to overcome my fear and throw the meat right in front of the dog's nose.
The dog watched curiously what was accused of him. He puffed it several times. Come on, eat!
The thing jerked its head up. His eyes darkened. Oh no! What is this beast up to? Did she smell the poison? Then I am delivered! Shivering, I crawl back a little, not taking my eyes off the dog. This one started to growl. The dog's teeth came out. He took a few steps forward.
The fear in me turned to panic. The trembling had long since stopped. In contrast, I quickly gasped for air. Then I winced when the mutt started barking loudly too.Oh no! Please do not! Do nothing to me! I screwed up my eyes and put my hands to my ears.
"What did you do? Damn it! Do you have to screw everything up too?" I only briefly heard Ken yelling at me from the side. I didn't mean it! What can I do that I can't stand these beasts! Damn it, won't anyone help me?
Suddenly I hear more barking, but that didn't come from this dog. Hesitantly, I opened my eyes. And what I saw there made me shudder. More than five dogs now stood in front of me, and read their voices. I opened my eyes wide in fear and panic. I no longer felt my legs and my senses began to fail. I heard steps that quickly diverged. Did Ken leave me alone? No! That can't be! He'd be the last one to do that. But unfortunately I couldn't make sure that my theory was correct, because I was completely motionless.I only looked at the mutts that were still standing in front of me and barked.
I hardly knew what I was doing here. I wanted to stand on my feet in vain, they just wouldn't obey me. As if the dogs were waiting for this very moment, they rushed towards me. I sat completely helpless in
