Rainy Season Chapter 5

Two weeks passed with the usual chaos in Nerima. With one exception.
Shampoo took part in the "fiancé hunt" to Ranma only half-heartedly. She held back noticeably and mostly looked very thoughtful.
Which of course also caught Cologne's attention, which had a certain suspicion.But the old Amazon did not speak to her granddaughter because she knew that she would talk to her about it when she was ready for it.

Then something very unexpected happened and things took their course.
Shampoo suppressed a sigh as she watched from the corner of her eye as Ukyo and Kodachi fought. Ranma, who was standing in front of her, eyed her slightly annoyed.
"And what do you want here, shampoo?" the dark-haired boy asked with a pained tone in his voice.
The Amazon looked at him and was amazed to find that she really didn't want anything from him anymore, that she didn't care.
Akane, who stepped over, was startled when she noticed her rival's strange look.
"Nothing! Shampoo don't want anything from stupid boys!" said the violet-haired girl at last and poured the ramen box she had brought with her over his head. Then the Amazon looked over at Akane and nodded to her.
"You want him? Then yours, shampoo you no longer want him!" she said definitely.Those present stared in disbelief at shampoo, which simply turned and walked away.
Ranma stood with her mouth open and looked after her in disbelief.
"What the hell is she doing?" he muttered confused and wiped the pasta off his face.
Akane gave him an amused look.
"Perhaps you have finally demonstrated your understanding?" she said dryly and ignored his outraged scream.
Her face turned serious again.
#I should talk to her ... #, she decided to herself and looked at the other girls who met their gaze defiantly.
# It's a shame the two won't give it up anytime soon #, Akane noted with amusement, #I just wonder why shampoo did that ... #

Cologne looked up from the book she had just read when shampoo stormed into the Cat Cafe. Without a word the girl ran up to her room and slammed the door.
#What does the child have? #
The old Amazon closed the book with a sigh and got up.
#Sometimes I wonder if I was the same when I was her age….#, then she definitely shook her head.
#No, I don't think so, # Cologne mumbled thoughtfully.
Finally she went after her granddaughter to talk to her.

(You did WHAT?) Asked the amazon matriarch in amazement and looked at Shampoo with big eyes.
Hold her chin out.
(I threw my ramen box over his head and gave it to the violent girl) she repeated calmly.
(Ah yes ...), Cologne stood there with an expressionless face and considered. Finally she snorted and began to laugh uproariously.

Ryoga staggered swaying through the forest.

He straightened and finally moved on.
"Shampoo," Ryoga finally whispered, barely audible.

Shampoo woke abruptly when the storm broke.
The rain pelted the front door with a terrible force.
It thundered and flashed while the wind blew almost whistling between the houses of the city.
The amazon wiped her eyes drowsy and went to the window of her room.
She looked out into the street and wondered where Ryoga was.

The girl stood there for a while, indulging in her thoughts, when she was about to turn away, she was startled.
Wasn't there something there?
Her breath caught when she saw a small, black figure kicking for its life in the street.
"Ryoga," breathed shampoo before she rushed out of her room and headed for the door. The young Amazon completely forgot that she too had a Yusenko curse.No sooner had shampoo stepped out of the door than they hit the first raindrops and transformed the young girl into the shape of a cat.
Undeterred by this she ran undeterred to the little black pig and grabbed it by the scarf with her teeth.
If someone had looked into the street at that moment, they would have been very surprised.
You don't see a pink cat dragging a little black pig into a house every day. When they were finally safe in the Cat-Cafe, Neko-Shampoo leaned against the front door and locked it with the help of "P-chan".
Purring, she rubbed her head against Ryoga's, who was standing there in awe. Then Neko-Shampoo grabbed his scarf again and dragged him to the bathroom.

(It's good that you're back) Shampoo whispered as she pressed against Ryoga. He didn't know what to say and kept his eyes averted, embarrassed.
The amazon girl had just jumped into the warm water of the tub with him and when they turned back they found themselves in a very compromising situation.Tightly embraced and completely naked in a bathtub. The prodigal boy heard the blood rush in his ears as shampoo continued to hug him happily.
(Shan-Po, that's not proper) he forced out with an effort while she paused as she realized how intimate the situation actually was. A fine blush covered her cheeks and she felt Ryoga begin to tremble slightly. However, she did not let go of him, but gave him a very strange look. A shudder ran through the body of the prodigal boy who was struggling not to pass out.
Shampoo leaned forward and was about to say something when Cologne's voice came through the bathroom door.
(When you young people have finished with your… bath, go to Shan-Pu’s room, I have made fresh clothes for you there), the door rang amused.
It was too much for Ryoga, who shivered again and rolled his eyes before passing out.
Shampoo, which was hugging him tightly, kept him from sinking into the water and held him tightly.She heard her great-grandmother slowly move away and looked gently at the unconscious boy in the face.
(Ryoga, you crazy, strange boy), the Amazon said softly to him, (I'm glad you're here.) Then she closed her eyes and snuggled up against him again.)
