Sanji was startled. That guy, that Molar, was barely older than Luffy, at most 17.
Nami watched with horror that the water around them froze. They couldn't sail away now, that was clear.
Molar looked at the group. He recognized Luffy, he had already seen this straw hat boy on a poster, and he had also seen Sanji and Zorro. Those were the guys who had killed Sir Crocodile.
Then he saw Thea, she was looking him straight in the face, more determined than he had ever seen her.
He knew she was reading his mind.

Luffy clenched her fists.

Usopp was still crouching in the lookout and cocking the first projectile into his sling.
Sanji casually lit a cigarette and put his hands in his trouser pockets.
Zorro stuck his third sword between his teeth. Come on, he thought.
Thea clasped her hands behind her back. Without anyone noticing, she broke a piece of the ice that had wrapped around her ship.
And when Ace's hands caught fire, Molar was startled inside, but didn't show it.
