Agony of hell
"To ... Toya! Toya open your eyes!"
Chiaki's voice came softly to Toya's ear. Toya slowly opened his eyes. Above him he saw the face of Chiaki and little Alice. "Are you all right, Toya?", Chiaki asked worriedly. "Yes, yes. Everything is okay. I just felt dizzy." To be honest, Toya didn't know what was wrong with him. He sat up. He gently ran his hand through his hair.
He ran his fingers over a spot on the back of his head, which he quickly regretted, because a stabbing pain bored into his head. "Your head fell on the edge of the bed," Alice explained when she saw Toya winced.
"Come with me. I'll treat you," said Chiaki, leaning him on and leading him out of the room. "Get well soon, Dr. Kiritani," Alice called after them.
"Ouch!" Toya sat on a chair while Chiaki bandaged his head. Toya screamed whenever he ran over the wound. It hurt like hell. Toya's gaze fell on the clock in the hallway. "What?Already 8 p.m.? I wanted to go home earlier today! "Toya jumped up.
"Hey! I wasn't finished yet!", Chiaki yelled after Toya storming away.
Toya came home panting. The bandage hung from his head on his shoulder. When he looked up at the door, everything was spinning. He staggered back. He almost fell, but he heard Aya's voice behind him: "Toya. There you are. Why are you coming so late?"
Toya spun around. Aya was standing behind him with Suzumi, who was holding Kyo in her arms. When Toya saw Aya he stumbled up to her and hugged her. He gasped, his legs couldn't carry him anymore, his head hurt and there was a rustling in his ears.
"What's wrong Toya? You are heavy. I can hardly carry you!" Aya panicked. What about Toya? Why was he panting like that? If she fell now they would both fall on the hard stones. "Suzumi! We have to carry him in quickly!", Aya called out desperately to Suzumi.
The two of them carried the semi-conscious Toya into the house.They dropped him on his futon. Kyo had put them outside in the garden.
Toya saw everything blurry. A pain spread in his chest. He grimaced in pain. They were so unbearable that he passed out again.
Aya was sitting outside in the garden with Suzumi. Kyo crawled across the lawn trying to catch a butterfly. "What's wrong with him? Is he sick?" Aya muttered absently. She was shocked when Suzumi put her hand on Aya's shoulder and said: "Everything will be fine. Toya-san is tough. He doesn't let himself get down. Everyone catches the flu." San called. He told me that toya had passed out once in the clinic. "" It's probably just the flu. He'll get back on his feet soon. ", Suzumi tried to comfort her.
Aya wiped away the tears that had come to her eyes and nodded with a smile.
In the evening, Aya put Kyo to bed.She carefully lay down next to Toya. He was still passed out. When she heard him gasp in pain, tears ran down her cheeks.
That night too, Kyo kept screaming. Toya twitched in her sleep. Grimaced in pain and gasped incessantly. Aya was terribly worried, but she didn't know how to help him.
The next morning, Aya woke up on her own. Toya was still unconscious. She got up sadly and opened the door to go out, but ...
"A ... Aya ..." Toya had opened her eyes. A fleeting smile also crossed his face when he looked up at her. Overjoyed, Aya fell on her knees next to Toya and hugged him. He slowly put his arms around her. “I was so worried!” Tears ran down her cheeks with happiness. “Wait, I'll get you something to eat. I'm sure you're hungry!” Aya jumped up and ran out of the room. Toya closed her eyes. Even breathing was difficult now.He was in terrible pain.
Aya soon stormed in again. She had a tray with breakfast in her arms. She quickly put it down and sat next to Toya. She looked at him happily. Toya slowly sat up. He looked Aya in the eye and kissed her tenderly. When their lips parted, they looked at each other briefly. Suddenly Kyo started to blab again. Aya sighed and got up. She had just disappeared behind the door when Toya fell back and doubled over in pain. He could barely breathe, the pain in his chest took his breath away. He sat up again in agony and reached for the food. He had just put a spoonful of miso in his mouth when aya came in with Kyo in her arms. Kyo laughed and stretched her little arms towards father. Aya put Kyo on the floor. He crawled purposefully towards his father. Almost at his place, Toya picked up his son. For a moment Toya left any pain he had felt.He smiled gently at Kyo. Also with a smile on her lips, Aya sat down next to them and stroked Kyo over his short, red hair. "We are a real family ...",
she muttered and smiled at Toya. His expression softened. He gave Aya a deep kiss.
"I have to rest.", Toya said when he had finished breakfast. Aya saw that. He looked really exhausted. Toya quickly gave kyo a kiss on the forehead, then Aya took him out of the room. Now Toya knew what was wrong with him ...
