The prince

When Vegeta woke up in the morning, he immediately pushed the sleeping girl down from him.
"Get me off the skin you burdock !!"
Despite the rough landing, Shadow slept peacefully. With a quick glance Vegeta counted off the dragon balls. They were all still there. Why had he slept so soundly?
"Hey snore cheek!"Only two gentle slaps brought her out of her sleep.
"Hey!" she snorted sleepily, but he had turned away again. He looked spellbound at the sky.
"What's happening?" she asked when she noticed this.
“It must be the two of them!” Two energies. Definitely.
The woman turned in one direction too, but couldn't see anything.
"Who, where?"
"Strange! You're not even flying in my direction ..."
She looked at the man doubtfully. Was he crazy? As much as she tried, she couldn't see anything in the sky. On the other hand, she couldn't fly herself, unlike him.
She watched as he picked up a ball.
"Where are you going?"
She was standing right in front of him and had a reproachful expression on her face.
"Take care of the bullets and maybe I'll let you live, little one."
Then he jumped in the air and whirled away like a whirlwind.
"Small yourself ..."
It was strange. Since she was here he had only treated her with threats and rude.And yet she trusted him.
"Sure, he's the only one I know ..." Sighing, she sat back to the dragon balls.

She hated waiting. And she'd been waiting for a while now. But she couldn't leave. She couldn't fly. Or is it?
Maybe she just forgot how to fly?
Shadow jumped up a little and fell back to the floor.
"Damn it." She tried again and again, but with the same success each time.
Then suddenly in the distance she saw three glowing streaks on the horizon. Was that the black-haired man?
Then she suddenly noticed: she was floating !! Just like that, while she was looking at the sky, she was lifted off the ground. But as soon as she noticed it fell back to the ground and landed on her four letters.
Shortly afterwards, three people landed at tremendous speed. One of theirs was Vegeta.
"We can do it !!" He seemed upset and half a second later Shadow knew why.Five more creatures landed behind her, and they didn't look friendly. In addition, they had such a tremendous power that even Shadow could feel them. Shaking with fear, she stumbled back to Vegeta.
"Damn it ... so close to the goal!" he snorted, ignoring her.
"W-who are they?"
"Oh! Aren't those the Dragon Balls?" The creature who owned the voice was purple and had two horns on its head. She couldn't really remember, but it felt like she was seeing such an alien for the first time. And it wasn't a pretty sight with God.
"And there are five more ..." She noticed how her heart was beating like crazy with excitement and saw the sweat running down Vegeta's face. He was nervous too and that didn't bode well.
“You won't get our balls!” Now she opens it up too. Not only Vegeta still had a ball in his hand, the little bald warrior behind him also had one.
The devices the creatures had on their faces made beeping noises.Apparently they could use it to measure the strength of their opponents.
"Come on Vegeta, give us your balls! You're finished anyway!"
Who were these people? And what did you mean by done?
"You can locate us with the scouters, but not the bullets!"
The prince got far from us and threw the ball away with all his might. But another from the enemy force seemed faster and could fly after her and catch her.
This time it seemed not only to surprise her but also Vegeta.
What crap had she gotten into? Would Vegeta protect her? Probably not.
Suddenly she felt how dizzy she was and everything blurred in front of her. She had to pull herself together so as not to throw up and saw how slowly everything turned black in front of her. Did it fall or had it already fallen? She felt a gentle pain in her shoulder, which eventually grew dull until she disappeared completely into the darkness and silence.
She passed out.Because what she didn't know was that the dimensional journey had not been without consequences.

She woke up with a loud bang. She jumped up, startled. What happened?
As she looked around she noticed the many craters, the landscape around her was completely devastated. Was that the same place she passed out? Her head pounded and she tried to remember. Strangers attacked them. Apparently everyone was after the dragon balls. She looked around anxiously for her only acquaintances.
Vegeta lay in one of the craters and struggled to straighten up. His combat suit looked even more battered than before and he was bleeding from many scratches.
She immediately jumped up and was about to run over to him when she spotted another figure straightening up again. He was a giant and had a dull look.
"Are you still fit? No? Then I'll release you now!" The giant's suit seemed completely destroyed and in some places it had scratches.But in contrast to Vegeta, he still looked very fit. Had the two of them fought and so devastated the landscape?
She looked anxiously at Vegeta and noticed his trembling.
"Now I will ... kill you !!!" the giant shouted and a powerful beam of energy flashed from his mouth straight at the Saiya-jin.
"Vegeta !!" Shadow instinctively threw himself on the floor to get nothing and when she looked back to the place where Vegeta had just been standing there was nothing left, just a deep, burned trail.
But the prince was not death. The two little warriors had saved him and even though she didn't really know Vegeta, she was incredibly grateful to them.
Immediately she ran over to the injured man.
“Are you all right?” He ignored her question and continued to watch the battle that was now being waged between the giants and the two little warriors.
She tried cautiously to support him, but was roughly pushed aside by him. Nevertheless, she climbed up to him again and watched the terrible spectacle next to him.The bald little boy stopped moving and the black-haired child just got a hard kick. He twitched to the ground and Shadow noticed with horror on his face that his neck was broken.
"... little ... bungler." Vegeta mumbled and Shadow looked at him in disbelief.
"Hey do you still have them all? He saved your life!"
But Vegeta didn't react to her words and so she pulled his arm to get his attention.
“What happens to us now?” But his only reaction was a whiff towards heaven. A spaceship landed in front of them with the big words 'Capsule Corp.' written on it.
Weakened, the prince sank to his knees and allowed Shadow to continue to press towards him.
A new warrior, whom Vegeta called Kakarott, flew to them like lightning. He flew to the boy and the bald head and as if by a miracle both stood up alive at once.
“How's that going?” Shadow watched intently as Kakarott tossed the man next to her a bean as well.The prince gave a short twitch and couldn't believe it! His body was completely healed again!
"Does he want to fight all alone now?"
Vegeta nodded and Shadow shook his head.
"But then he'll die too! Shouldn't we run away if he distracts the guys?"
The prince suddenly winced and looked over at the two fighters in fear.
"No ... Kakarott ... he ..." He began to tremble, partly in anger, partly in awe.
"He can't possibly be the Supersaiya-jin that tradition speaks of !!"
What was the guy talking about? What the hell was a supersaiya-jin? She pulled his arm again until he pushed her away, annoyed. Still, he explained what was going on.
"Every thousand years a Supersaiya-jin appears ... a warrior with fantastic powers ... but ... that's just a stupid lore ..."
Confused, she saw his anger.
"B-but that's good, isn't it? I mean then he can defeat the others and we'll survive the whole thing!"
The Saiya-jin shook his head."If it were true, only I would have what it takes to be a Supersaiya-jin!"
She looked at him questioningly. He was strong, that was clear, but what was so special about him that only he could have what it takes?
"I am the prince of all Saiya-jin. The strongest warrior."
Puzzled blinked up at him.
"You ... are a prince?"
