Curiosity, fear and other feelings

It was late at night when she first sneaked into the gravity room. Vegeta had gone to bed earlier today and so she finally had time to try higher gravity.
Carefully she closed the heavy iron door behind her and walked spellbound towards the control panel. Gravity was still set at earth level, but she was already pressing the buttons and her body weight was steadily increasing.
She felt it, but it didn't bother her too much: 2 times the force of gravity. Vegeta seemed right, she was stronger than human. It only became exhausting when the force of gravity was 5 times greater. With heavy steps she made a few laps in the non-functioning spaceship to get used to her new weight. Every step was a challenge, every time she put one leg back on the ground she threatened to collapse under her own weight. She didn't know how long she'd been doing this, minutes or hours, but her training gown was soaked through and the steps didn't get any easier. Panting, she went to the control panel. 10 times the gravity. Let's see if her body could take that too.
Gravity slowly increased and Shadow felt her being pressed to the ground and finally losing her balance. She slammed hard on the flat stomach and groaned in pain. Maybe she should wait until tomorrow to raise it? With difficulty and slowly, she straightened up and felt for the switch. The centimeters that separated her from the redeeming emergency switch seemed like kilometers to her. Shivering she reached him and the GR switched itself off and she felt as light as a feather.
"I'll show you, Vegeta!" Grinning happily, she staggered towards her room and fell exhausted into her bed.

“I think it's great that you go shopping with me!” Bulma was in a good mood, as is usually the case when shopping and Shadow shook his head with a grin. She was clearly the daughter of rich people. But at least the black-haired woman didn't have to pay anything for maintenance or clothing. Bulma's parents seemed to like her very much, and Bulma herself seemed to have accepted her as something of a younger heavier.
The blue-haired woman tore her from her thoughts when she suddenly grabbed her arm and dragged her in front of a window.
"You can find the best clothes here! That's where I buy most of my things."
Shadow was dragged into the store and pushed into a locker room with a mirror.
"Wait here, I'll pick a few things for you." She chose the things? That could be cheerful ...
Shadow was just taking off her sweater when Bulma reached into the cabin and gave her a few things.
She examined the pieces skeptically and slipped inside.
The first was a bib dress the length of a mini skirt and a colorful short-sleeved shirt. Bulma was thrilled and immediately gave her the second one.A red mini skirt with a matching top and headband.
"Uh ... Bulma isn't that a bit too ..."
"Oh what that is perfect!" Before Shadow could argue any more, a mountain of robes pelted down on her.
"WHAT? Should I try EVERYTHING?"
Bulma poked her head in and winked.
"Vegeta will like it trust me ..."
"What ?! I don't want to please Vegeta at all!" Indignantly, she dropped the things and hid her face behind a hat. How did she come up with such an idea?
"Why so red? He's an idiot sometimes, but I think you get along really well with him." Shadow looked at her skeptically.
"Say, are you blind and deaf? We're just arguing!"
The older one grinned again.
"What loves teasing himself…"
"Oh yeah? What about you and him?"
But Bulma was on again, looking for new things.

"Wow! That was fun !! We have to do that more often, right?"
Very nervous and tired, Shadow nodded. This woman was just amazing!Where did she get this energy from? She had to be an alien !!
Suddenly the black-haired girl crashed into her friend and looked up confused. Bulma had stopped in front of a men's fashion store and looked thoughtfully into the window.
"That Vegeta always has to be so stubborn! Does he want to keep walking around in his training gear for the next few months?"
Shadow scratched his head, grinning.
"I guess so…"
"What do you think if we just take a few things from him?"
Shadow looked at the display doubtfully until her gaze fell on a rather colorful piece in the corner.
"Okay, but I can choose ..."

When they returned from shopping, the Namek people were sitting in the garden drinking water while the younger Namek children played in the meadow.
She watched spellbound as one of them over the Capsule Corp. floated.
"Hey!" Shadow waved the little one who called himself Dende down.
“Can't you teach me that too?” The little one looked shyly at her and nodded."Forget it. It's a waste of time, it never brings them together."
Vegeta leaned against the wall in the shade and crossed her arms over her chest. Angry, Shadow turned to him.
"Nobody asked for your opinion, monkey ass!"
That was enough and Vegeta had grabbed her from behind again and hissed dangerously.
"You better not mess with me !!"
Shadow tried to tear himself away.
"Let go, you monkey!" Fidgeting, she noticed his grin.
"You wouldn't like me as a monkey ..."
She didn't understand what he meant by that, but she stuck her tongue out at him anyway.
"I don't like you like that either! Bääää."
Finally he let go of her and Shadow turned around questioningly.
"All the better."
Then he disappeared back into his GR Shadow, crossed his arms a little offended and looked after him.
"Baka."
Shaking her head, she turned back to the little Namek.
"Don't worry, I can do it every now and then. Just not when I want to."She laughed and followed Dende into the meadow where they sat on the grass.
"You have to get your strength under control." He explained and Shadow watched him intently.

In the evening, Shadow hiked in the C.C. around looking for Vegeta. She did it! She could fly! It had been hard work and she could only wobble and slow, but it worked!
Vegeta hadn't shown up at dinner and that was probably more than just strange and so Bulma had sent her to find him.
Quiet as a shadow, she crept to the space capsule in which the light was still burning.
She glanced at the outer display. 100 times gravity. So Vegeta was still in there.
She knocked timidly on the door, but no one answered. She hovered near a window. Vegeta trained like a madman, spinning in the air, doing push-ups, and punching or kicking into space. With bated breath, she admired his skill.Shit glittered in drops on his bare torso and she felt herself getting hot.
He was just launching an attack on one of the probes when he saw her face against the window pane. Surprised, he turned to her and forgot to leave his cover up. His own attack, reflected by the probe, hit him in the back and threw him forward on the floor.
Startled, Shadow fell on the outside and immediately ran into the capsule to Vegeta, of course not without turning down the gravity beforehand.
"Vegeta! Are you okay?" she cried worriedly as he struggled to sit up again.
"You ... annoy ... !!" He tried to push her away, but the wound was bleeding and he winced in pain.
"Wait here, I'll get bandages!"
Vegeta growled at the wound as Shadow ran out.
"Damn people ... and ... uh ... their primitive ... medicine!"

When Shadow came back Vegeta was leaning against the wall and had closed his eyes.“Here, that should help!” She sat in front of him, armed with an emergency medical kit, but he didn't move.
“Vegeta?” He seemed to be asleep and she waved a hand in front of his eyes.
“Can you hear me?” She approached him carefully and leaned down to him.
He had that stern look even in his sleep, but he looked a lot more peaceful. And she had already noticed on Namek that he could be gentle when he bandaged her hand. If she thought about it, that was when she had seen more than just a rascal in him for the first time. What happened to her? He was absolutely not likable, arrogant, inconsiderate and rude.
And still ... in spite of all that ...
"How I would like to know how you really are. Behind this cold facade I mean ..."
She gently stroked his cheek with one finger. She was amazingly gentle, although she had never seen him shave before.
When did she start watching him?She traced the contours of his face and stopped at his lips.
What would a killer's lips taste like? Would it be the same feeling?
Slowly she approached them. But when she felt the warmth of his face on hers she paused.
Were his lips as cold as he was, or as warm and inviting as they looked?
She wanted to know. Carefully she put her hand in his.
And then inch by inch she approached his mouth. The tips of their noses touched and Shadow was petrified when she looked into his face. He hadn't closed his eyes anymore and looked at her confused. She jerked back a little, startled.
But what difference did it make if she kissed him or not, as close as she was already? He'd probably kill her for it one way or another.
They looked into each other's eyes for a few moments and Vegeta seemed to know what she was up to, although his eyes still widened in surprise and didn't move.Shadow closed his eyes. Now or never…
Her lips touched warmly and the woman enjoyed a brief moment of security when she noticed that Vegeta didn't push her back.
Vegeta, however, just couldn't believe what he was experiencing here. Did this woman have a crack in the bowl? He was cruel and cold-blooded, a Saiya-jin who fought to the life and death and not a cuddly toy!
She shyly kissed the prince and felt his hand run up her arm.
Finally she stepped away from him breathlessly and Vegeta's hand immediately squeezed hers painfully.
"I think you have one on the waffle !! ... do you actually know ... who you
