Chapter 1: The Missed Blitzball Tournament

A boy squeezes through the huge crowd storming the Blitzball Stadium in Zanarkand. If he didn't hurry up, he'd miss his game. And he didn't want that. So he decides to give his fans a few autographs. Because Tidus is not that unknown here. The star of the Zanarkand Apes is followed over and over again by his fans.

"Please give me an autograph on my Blitzball!"

“Sure little one, no problem!” Tidus grins at the little one and signs on the ball.

“Thank you!” Thanks the boy and bows.

“Me too, please!” Two little boys push the other away. Tidus can only smile and also signs the boys' balls.

His so-called autograph session was over and so he makes his way to the stadium.

Tidus follows a long bridge that leads to the stadium. He looks at the huge buildings that look like skyscrapers.But suddenly he sees a poster of his father on a building.

He looks at it for a while.

// My old man, I'll show you who's the best ... // he thinks and runs off.

Tidus has arrived at the stadium and is waiting for the opening whistle. The huge pool fills with water and the game can begin in a few minutes.

And the time has come. The game begins and Tidus has the ball. The whole stadium cheers Tidus on and after 6 minutes of play Tidus promotes a player outside.

While the Blitzball tournament is taking place in peace, a huge ball of water appears over the sea.

The ball flies out of the field and Tidus swims after it. He wants to start shooting, but then he sees the huge ball of water that is about to throw small water shots. A huge tidal wave flooded Zanarkand completely. Tidus can just hold on to a stone, but it breaks off a little later and Tidus falls down from this tall building.When he wakes up, there is complete chaos. Nothing was whole anymore and people are panicking.

"Ouch ... Vlad? Danny? Iwan? Squall?" Tidus stands up and looks for his team.

Not too long later, Tidus finds Squall.

“Hey, are you okay?” Tidus is glad to see at least one familiar face.

“You ask me that?” Squall looks scornfully at Tidus from top to bottom.

"Come on. Do you know where the others are? Any lead?" Tidus studies Squall's face.

"No. In case you still haven't got it, a tidal wave has hit the stage. Everyone is in a panic and we stand here to chat!" This what Squall is saying comes out more than a scream.

"Hey, that's good. Come on, let's look for the others." Tidus looks at Squall in astonishment.

"You just DON'T understand! Do you mean I will go with YOU? I will go my way ALONE!" Squall's eyes start to twinkle. He looks Tidus up and down again, then he goes on his way.Tidus, on the other hand, sighs deeply in the basement and continues walking until he sees a familiar face.

"Auron? What are you doing here?" Tidus is glad to have seen him.

"Come on Tidus. We'll flatten this monster." Auron glares at the bridge and Tidus agrees.

But before they are on the bridge, this huge ball of water shoots off small scales that hook into the ground and finally show their true colors.

“Take this!” Auron throws a sword at Tidus. He takes it and thinks he should have left it because the sword is incredibly heavy.

But after a few minutes in hand, Tidus has regained his balance and is fighting with Auron against the scales, which have turned out to be very weak in the end.

But the ball of water doesn't want to rest and shoots several scales at once. With every scale that has been dealt with, a new one comes and so Tidus and Auron have no chance and fight their way with a lot of effort.When they have made it, they keep running until Auron pauses in his movement and examines a huge scale.

But even this huge scale was taken care of in a few minutes. And again their way was blocked by many small sheds. And every time it is destroyed, new scales come up.

“What is it, Auron?” Tidus didn't understand anything anymore and now turns to Auron.

“These are scales from[Sin].” Auron studies the water ball. "And that ball of water ... is[Sin]."

Tidus does the same for Auron and also studies the ball of water, but not too long does he devote himself to the shed again.

“Tidus, that doesn't help. Attack the container!” Auron points to the huge container that stands near the shed.

After several blows, the container falls down and the small scales explode into all parts.

Auron and Tidus take their chance and keep running until the bridge broke apart. But Auron jumps over at the last moment. Tidus does the same, but it's too late.At the last moment, Auron takes Tidus's hand. The water ball is getting bigger and bigger and starts to suck everything in. Tidus hovers higher and higher.

"You wanted that,[Sin]..." Auron mumbles and lets go of Tidus.

"AURON !!!!" shouts Tidus and gets caught in a vortex ...
