Chapter 1 Kari's Escape
People: Hikari, Tala, Voltaire, Boris and Beata in short

Kari (actually Hikari) was in this abbey in Russia, the Biovoltcorp, since she was 4 years old. Head of this corp. was none other than the cruel Voltaire, who was also her grandfather. But Voltaire was not only her grandfather, but also that of her twin brother Kai. Just like him, she was in the abbey in Russia, just an abbey for girls. Besides her there were about 11 other girls there. This was the reason why she had almost no memories of her brother, because they had not seen each other since they were around 4 years old. She only had one photo of him, which was taken when she was 3 years old. Kari lay in her bed (in the abbey) and slept soundly but very restlessly, because she dreamed of her past, which was terrible for her.Even if she could only remember incompletely, she didn't know why. She was reluctant to let anyone talk about her past, because 12 years ago Kai was separated from her.

Kari's nightmare:
She was sitting in a car on the left. At the time, she had red hair that was about shoulder-length (at the moment) tied in a ponytail. To her right sat a boy who was apparently asleep. He had silver-gray hair and wore a 1 meter long scarf tied around his neck. Seated in the front were a man and a woman who were probably her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hiwatari. They were driving down a main road and Kari looked up at the stars, they were shining wonderfully and the moon was shining bright that night too. The girl never would have thought that this night would be the worst of her life. The car was cornering when two bright lights appeared ahead of them. She still saw her father trying to evade, but it was too late! The two cars rammed and everything was shrouded in darkness. Kari saw nothing more, but heard terrifying noises like glass and cracked bones. She had been shaken back and forth in the collision and now she was head to head with Kai. They both had numerous cuts on their arms and legs and the redhead had a wound on her head that was bleeding profusely. Then suddenly the door was thrown open and a bright light blinded the two: “Don't worry, you two!” A man whispered quietly but a little hectically, “we'll get you out of it.” He carefully pulled the siblings, trembling with fear, out of the car one by one out. Afterwards he carried her to a stretcher nearby. Then he shone around in the car to see if the parents had survived. And then Kari and Kai saw something that they would never forget: They saw their parents who were still in the car. Her mother's torso was trapped between the seat and the airbag, and blood was pouring heavily from her head. She had spread her arms and hands protectively over her face, as if she wanted to protect herself in the event of a collision. There were sometimes large flesh wounds on her arms from which the blood just oozed out. She stopped moving. And her father was lying with his head on the steering wheel and the blood was just pouring out of his head too. He didn't move either. One of the men felt their pulse: "I'm sorry. You are dead! You probably died immediately after the collision." When Kari heard this, she couldn't believe it. "Your parents ..... dead?" "Nooooo ....." she yelled and woke up drenched in sweat and gasped. Drops of sweat shone on her forehead and her whole body was soaked with sweat. "Why has this nightmare plagued me for one night for 12 years? And why does it always stop at the same point? That means something, but what?" The woman in bed mumbled sleepily: "Have we overslept? Why are you screaming like that?"" No, no, I just had that nightmare again. That's why I screamed. Oh, yes, what's that got to do with you, "she added, growling coldly." Oh, that's all right then. It was just a silly nightmare! Nightmare full of night, "she mocked and went back to sleep. The cold half-Russian snorted with anger, while her insides became sad. Which, of course, she didn't show anyone. Since she was here she was shunned by the other girls and never had friends. Why she did not know. When she started to train in the abbey she was closed (fearful). (The fear had disappeared with time) Even when she was about three years old, she was very taciturn. Only her brother and her best friend knew her insides, her thoughts and feelings, which were based on mutuality. Kari lay down again and tried to stay calm, at the same time she was very angry with her bed neighbor Tanja, for her the most conceited of all girls.Of the 12 girls with her, 7 were friends with her, such as Brigitte, Anja, Karin, Amanda, Klara, Judith and Laurina were all the most vain of all girls and also very disgusting. The other three girls had a circle of friends of their own. Only Kari had no one, which she didn't care. What she didn't understand was that the other girls were allowed to have friendships and cry, just not her, but on the one hand she didn't care either. Which surprised her very much that these girls were here at all, because they were certainly umpteen times worse than her. She suspected that they were simply her principal's favorite students. She was very jealous of Kari because she was so talented at blading. The tactical blader was just trying to fall asleep again, but at that moment the light was switched on in the room and an imperious voice echoed through the room: "Get up, but Dali, it's already 5:00 am. Kari ..... go Kari, now you get up immediately. "She startled and was still very tired, because she had been awake for about 3 1/2 hours now.“Kari, Voltaire wants to speak to you immediately!” With these words, the addressed rushed to her cabin (with wardrobe) and 3 minutes. later she was dressed and combed. When she looked in the mirror, she checked whether everything was correct. Her fiery red hair had been carefully combed and in the glow of the light it shimmered yellow-red. As always (and as it should be) her ice-blue eyes were cold and dismissive. As always, she wore a dark top and dark, about knee-length and tight pants. She always had a chain with a crystal tied around her neck as a pendant. "Yes, I'm coming Beata" (that's the name of the head of Kari's Abbey Part. (I know a shit sentence, but I couldn't think of anything better) she called and went to the door. "Wait a minute, Kari, first our motto. “She droned down the motto:“ Don't show your feelings, don't trust anyone, because you are alone in the world! ”After these words, Kari went out in silence and closed the door behind her.She ran through the various corridors and corridors of the abbey and every now and then her trainer came towards them, but she ignored them. She ran until she stood in front of a door, knocked on it and waited for an answer. "Come in," came the sound of the inside. The 16 year old opened the door and walked in slowly and quietly. (That was the custom: to walk slowly and quietly in the room where the boss worked. If you didn't do it, you were severely punished.) In the room, behind a large desk, sat Voltaire and, as always, looked at her grimly and with his heartless, cold, gray eyes. Then he began to speak: "Hikari, I am disappointed in you. Your performance as a Beyblader has decreased considerably over the last few months and you tell me now why!" At the last few words he was already yelling at her. His granddaughter reluctantly but obediently told him about the dream and asked him if she might see her brother again and talk to him.The old man relentlessly threw these words into her face: "You can forget that, because Kai has disappeared and must have been dead for a long time. And now you will be better, because tomorrow you will be checked whether you are worth training in the abbey . If you can't do it, I'll have to eliminate you (in a cruel way), which I don't hope, because whom from the Hiwatari family should I confide in when you're dead too. Kari stood still, even though she was dead tried to suppress it with all her might, a huge pain came up inside her and her eyes filled with tears from sheer sadness. Immediately after the first tear had left the eye, she was hit in the face, so hard it hit her back fell on the bottom: "Not only that you've gotten worse, now you're crying too. I didn't teach you anything. Crying is and makes you weak. If you cry again, you can get out of here and see how you can cope on your own.Do you understand me hikari? Oh yes, get Tala. He should train with you! You take too much free time, now you exceed your limit and train for 12 hours, understand? "She only nodded her head briefly and then went out quietly. Of course, the closed warrior didn't know that Voltaire had lied to her underhandedly. She still couldn't believe it: After she lost her parents, she should have lost Kai too. And this one Grandfather once liked her very much. She walked slowly through the corridors and corridors back into the girls' abbey. "Well, what did Voltaire tell you? ", Anja asked disdainfully. Kari didn't even look at her, just said briefly:" Kai my brother has disappeared and is probably already dead. "" Is Kai Hiwatari your brother? Stop those stupid jokes! Such a handsome boy cannot be related to such an ugly girl. “Yes,” the irritable girl hissed back, “he can, because my last name is (as you know) Hiwatari too.And if you don't believe me, look it up in my birth book. "Anja looked and it really was: Hikari Hiwatari. Kari just looked coldly at her and the others." You see. And by the way, what about your brother. It looks like a scarecrow. It suits you well because you look the same. "Anja went out and mumbled snootily:" Banause! "To the others, Kari said contrite:" I'm going to train now and don't want to be disturbed for the next 12 hours. I will eat in the training room in between! "With these words she went out and closed the door behind her.
