Chapter 1: The Prehistory
First and foremost, this story is about 14-year-old Kira, who was born in Egypt and who, together with her white she-wolf Rey, is looking for a new beginning in Japan because she was targeted in her home country. It all started at the age of 10 when her mother died and told her about Karim, her brother, on her deathbed. Kira's father wasn't particularly worried about them, on the contrary, Kira had to toil from morning to evening so that they had something to eat. Her father, not important enough to give him a name, had drunk and gambled away her mother's carefully saved money shortly after her death. From then on, Kira's problems began. Every evening she lay in her bed and cried because she could no longer withstand the pressure her father was putting on her.Her greatest wish at the time was that her mother come back, although she knew that this request could never be granted. The only thing Kira still had from her mother was a chain with a silver pendant cut into the shape of a dragon. At the age of 12 she found Rey in the desert, she was already half dead, but Kira nursed her well and from then on she was by her side. On Kira's 14th birthday, her fate took its course. First her father gambled away all his belongings and then he hired a contract killer because he was mentally exhausted. This hit man should sometime, somewhere and somehow see to it that the entire rest of the Cisami family is wiped out. Her father did all of this while drunk and when he was sober again and thinking about what he had done, he sent Kira to Japan to take her to safety. He took her to the airport and waited until she was on the plane.Kira got in and looked out the window, what she saw there shocked her. Her father was standing behind the fence and waving to her when suddenly shots rang out and he fell over. She couldn't see any more as the machine took off. At that point in time she did not know whether her father was still alive or already dead, she did not know what to expect in Japan, she did not know what it would be like there. She was afraid. Afraid of starting a new life without her father. Fear of being excluded because of their origins. All she knew was that she wasn't all alone, because she still had Rey waiting in the hold to get to know a new, better world.
