"Hm .. Finally vacation. Finally sleep in.", Sighed a young girl with long black hair and stretched with relish. She had just finished the last chores and was looking forward to the Christmas break. She was wondering what she could do with her friends when the window slid open and a cold gust of wind swept through the room. With a small cry, she wrapped her arms around her body to protect herself from the cold. "Close the window immediately, it's freezing cold." "Keh! Then put on something warmer. No wonder if you just sit there in the depths of winter with a T-shirt that feels cold to you."", despite his protest, he closed the window and shook the snow from him. Which in turn earned him a scream from her as the cold snow landed on her bare skin." Inuyasha! Do you always have to come in the window? ", Kagome desperately held his hands to his head." In any case, it goes faster than if I have to stand down there for hours at the door. "Resigned, she shook her head and asked," What are you doing here? "" Well, pick you up. We want to arrive in the mountains this evening. But that only works if we leave now. "" Please? Inuyasha, I said I'll be back tomorrow so goodbye. "" I'll stay here until you come with me. "" What? Forget it. "She got up and wanted to go down to the kitchen when she noticed that the Hanyou was actually following her. ° He's really serious?! ° She went down to the kitchen and started to cook miso ramen. Since she wasn't Inuyasha starved, she covered for 2. He watched her every move closely.As she took the hot water from the stove, she came to the hot handle with her hand: "Ouch!" Immediately the Hanyou jumped up and pulled Kagome with him to the sink Perplex Kagome watched as Inuyasha held her hand under the cold water. Immediately afterwards she felt how the pain subsided many times over. "Thank you, Inuyasha," she looked down, embarrassed. This one too had a red sheen on his cheeks and he also avoided looking into her eyes. "You're welcome.", He muttered to himself rather than to Kagome. Silently she handed him a bowl of ramen. Then she went upstairs and put a little ointment on the burn. Of course, when she got back to the kitchen, Inuyasha had already finished his meal. She looked at him smiling. “Want a second helping?” After a nod, he watched as Kagome filled his plate again. While he ate, she still watched him grinning. After the 3rd serving, the half-demon was also full. "How did you actually imagine that?If I go to school tomorrow you will stay here. I hope we got along? "There was a short silence." Shouldn't tomorrow be the weekend? "° Huh? He made a note of that? °" How-how do you know that again? "" You once explained how a week works for you. I just remembered that. Today is Friday, then tomorrow is Saturday. That means you don't have a school. "Smugly, the Hanyou leaned back, folded his arms behind his neck and grinned at Kagome across the table. She looked at her counterpart in complete surprise." I have to admit, I'm impressed. I wouldn't have thought you could do that, Inuyasha. But still, I'm not going back tomorrow. "" Well, then I'll stay on your heels until you give up annoyed. "This time Inuyasha wanted to get his stubborn head straight, no matter what it cost. She was just about to start when he winced." Inuyasha? "When Inuyasha's hair turned black, it dawned on her what had happened.“Is there a new moon today?” A grumble on her part was her answer enough. "So Inuyasha, you go upstairs, I'll follow you. I'm just tidying up.", After a skeptical look from Inuyasha she added. "I promise!" He was satisfied with that and went into Kagome's room. ° She doesn't seem to mind that I want to stay with her. ° He lay down on her bed and folded his arms behind his head. ° Could she like me after all? I hope at least she doesn't hate me. ° That was his last thought before falling asleep on Kagome's soft bed.
Kagome was still standing in the kitchen, thinking about Inuyasha's behavior. He had acted strangely. He wanted to stay with her until she gave up? She wondered if Inuyasha's nerves were really that good. that he could take it. She started cleaning up. Then she went upstairs and changed the bandage on her hand again. When she got into her room, she couldn't believe her eyes.Inuyasha lay asleep in her bed. Involuntarily she had to grin. ° He really looks like a little puppy. She crouched down next to her bed and looked at the sleeper. She gently brushed a strand of hair back from his face. A low murmur was his reaction. Still smiling, Kagome sat down at the desk and began to leaf through her photo album a little. The first picture showed her forging Inuyasha on the floor again. She remembered Shippo taking the picture and then being terribly proud of it. She turned the page. The next picture was Inuyasha's reaction to Shippo's snapshot. The poor fellow had taken a whole bunch of nuts. She had to laugh softly. It looked too cute as Inuyasha chased after the Kitsunen, who was running for his life. One page further, Kagome had inserted her absolute favorite picture. Again, Shippo was the photographer. Inuyasha and she were sitting by the lake on a cold winter evening, talking.° I was damn cold back then. ° She had shivered so much that Inuyasha took her in her arms and warmed her. She had moved even closer to him and she remembered that she felt more comfortable and secure than ever since. Kagome was warm at this idea. She had enjoyed that evening with him so much. But they never talked about it again. A sigh escaped Kagome. Suddenly she felt two arms hug her tightly from behind. “Do you want to go back that evening sometimes?” Kagome didn't know how to react. Inuyasha had woken up unnoticed and stepped behind her. ° Should I tell him the truth? Or should I wait? I tell him! °
"I long for this moment very often.", She confessed to him in a whisper. Her arms embraced her even more. "Me too," he whispered. Kagome's eyes widened in surprise. Inuyasha showed feelings? For a moment she let him hold her in her arms again, then turned to him.She looked him in the eye and noticed that .. Inuyasha smiled. He always had a sullen look on his face. But the smile made his features appear softer. Kagome couldn't help smiling too. Still, she asked, "Really?" "Yes. I wanted to tell you back then that I ... I love you, but I didn't dare." Inuyasha looked deeply into her eyes and then slowly leaned over to her. He held his hand on her cheek, the other on Kagome's shoulder. And before Kagome knew it, Inuyasha kissed her. At first hesitantly, and then when she replied, he became more certain. Her arms were crossed behind his neck, his arms around Kagome's waist. When they parted again, there was a moment of silence. "Aishteru, Inuyasha," breathed Kagome before Inuyasha kissed her again.
