prolog
Nadja was a completely normal girl, but brown eyes and long blonde hair made her a beauty. Many a man would have liked to have her, but she didn't want her to be a minor. To be precise 16.
Their fiery temperament and at the same time friendly nature attracted many demons, vampires, werewolves and so-called angels who wanted them.
These angels looked like the people imagined them to be, beautiful and blessed with wings. But their character was even more insidious than that of the demons, who mostly openly stated what they wanted. The demons had the property of camouflaging themselves as humans, which the angels also had. Hence, some people believed that the two races were related.
The angel-king Gabriel had died and his son Michael came to power. Nadja coveted this and wanted her, whether she wanted it or not, because of her beauty, which only he wanted to own.
The demon king Val, who was still young, wanted her because of her beauty, but he wanted to blind his enemies. The werewolves had no king because they were dying out. These beings had the ability to appear as human as well as wolf or wolf-man. One did not like to have them as an enemy, since they were very savage and clever in battle.
They also had the vampires as friends. These were immortal and powerful. The nonsense that you could defeat them with holy water, a stake with your heart, or whatever, was untrue. You could only kill them if they wanted to because suicide is never forgiven. The Vamire had King Vladt and his son Fren. Fren's best friend was Fel, a young werewolf who was funnier than any creature Fren knew. Even more than humans.
Fren was originally called Vladimir, but no one calls him that anymore. Fel had given him the name from the many legends of the various wolf gods that no one knew better than himself. Vladimir had kept the name Fren because he liked it a lot.
Now there was only one problem: Nadja once swore two things. That she will never marry someone she does not love and 2. that she will never love again because she has been betrayed before.
But that didn't suit her three admirers Michael, Val and Fren, who immediately fell in love with her.
One day people went to war. Not against the demons, VAmpires, angels or werewolves, but against other people like them. The other creatures did not understand this. Not that it was the case that they didn't wage wars, but not among themselves! Maybe an argument and a couple of weeks not together they made among themselves, but not war! Most of them even loved to fight, and they could do that enough at the time.
Because the people paid them to go to war instead of them.
The beings joined each other according to the following motto: "Whoever pays the most, I will help!"
Werewolves were particularly popular during wartime because of their speed and intelligence. But until then there was only one known werewolf: Fel. And he didn't fight because he was more a wolf of words than deeds. No matter how much money he was offered, he couldn't be made to fight. And he did not betray his fellow species, because werewolves like to fight but not on command. He was also reliable because he kept a rule with the werewolves: "Never reveal where others of your kind can be found, otherwise all gods and, worst of all, Wolfbane will attack you!"
The village of Nadja was also threatened, but you never needed help from other creatures because Nadja always knew when, where and how hard a fight would take place. Sometimes they also said the traps that were set. Many people thought that it couldn't be quite normal after all ...
Well, the villagers were right, but not in their own way.
Nadja had two skills that nobody knew about, namely to speak to the spirits of nature and animals and she could see with the eyes of the birds.Mostly she preferred her companion Lav, the Rabin, for this.
Sometime in the middle of the war, Fel met a troop of spies in his wolf form. The troop saw the wolf without knowing that it was a werewolf and wanted to hunt and kill him out of pure lust.
But then they had done their math without Fel, who didn't want to fight but could run fast, but despite everything, Fel was ...
