CHAPTER II - TRAITOR?

After a short time, Itachi fell asleep and did not let go of his little brother.
In the morning they were rudely awakened by the nukes who had captured them and locked them in that old chamber. They painfully grabbed the two brothers by the arms and pulled them with them. Itachi didn't find it funny and tried to fight back, but it didn't work. For some reason his strength was failing.
Sasuke just let himself be dragged along and was curious to see where they would now be taken. He looked around and immediately recognized the part of the village where they were going. "Sasuke, this is the place, am I right? I don't remember being here before ..." he said.
Sasuke shrugged and decided to sit down somewhere. He then leaned his head against the wall and waited.

Haku looked at Itachi for a long time, then looked at Sasuke.

Haku smiled and crouched down in front of the young Uchiha.
"Who is he?" he asked, pointing to Itachi. But he looked at Sasuke.

"Sasuke ..." said Haku. He gently stroked his cheek and wiped away a small tear from Sasuke.
"Why are you crying? Because of him?" Haku asked cynically and now also looked out of the corner of his eye at Itachi. He returned the look and turned his head away.
"I just cry because I feel like it. There is no reason. But I ask you to let him go ..." said Itachi's little brother.
The brown-haired grinned.
"I think he should get his just punishment." he just said and got up.
Itachi's eyes widened and so did Sasuke's.
"B- but you can't do that! Haku! Wait!" he called after the Nukenin, but he had already left the tree house.
Itachi was silent and looked into space. His little brother sobbed and buried his face in his hand."I'm sorry, Itachi ... I didn't want to let it get that far. It's all my fault." he said.
The older laughed.
"What's so funny ?!" Sasuke asked completely aghast.
"They want to kill me ?! Ha! Haha! Apparently they don't know who they're messing with ..." he said angrily.
"Itachi Uchiha is not just so easy to kill ..."
"Itachi?" Sasuke asked uncertainly. Then, when he looked into his eyes, Sasuke saw that they weren't the same anymore. No, they looked like the first time they met when Itachi knocked Haku down.
Sasuke backed away from Itachi and sat down against the wall again. And suddenly Itachi just lay down on the floor and put an arm around himself (fully psycho XD).
Sasuke looked at the door where Haku came out earlier. He thought.
> Should I go in? Then what about Itachi? If I go he might flee ... and kill everyone in the village ... Oh, what the heck! I go! "Sasuke ..." Itachi whimpered, barely audible. Sasuke stopped and looked over at his brother. But he tried to ignore it and kept walking.
"Sasuke ...! No, don't leave me alone! He ..." Sasuke stopped.
"It hurts me ..." Itachi said, sobbing. His brother stopped again and turned around.
"Orochimaru?" asked he.
"So are you staying with me then?" Itachi asked and turned his head so that Sasuke could see his face.
This went over to him and sat down next to him. Itachi held her arm even tighter during this time.
"Sasuke ... take me in your arms ..."
Sasuke reluctantly complied with this request, but he did. He gently touched his brother on his shoulder and he grabbed Sasuke's arm.
Later Sasuke sat against the wall and held Itachi in his arms. This lay with his head on Sasuke's chest and between his legs.
That night Haku left his bedroom again. He saw the two sleeping brothers on the wall and glared at Itachi.> Whoever he is, I'll have him killed! ... best if I kill him with my own hands! he thought.
Haku walked slowly up to the two of them and crouched in front of them. He reached out a hand to Itachi. But suddenly his eyes opened and he looked at him with a nasty grin. Then he grabbed Haku's arm and twisted it so that he screamed. This scream made Sasuke wake up.
"What…?!"
Itachi kicked Haku away and the latter fell painfully to the floor.
"Who are you that you think you can kill me ?!" Itachi asked scornfully. Haku tried to get up, but Itachi kicked him again in the side. Then Itachi felt someone hold him from behind.
“Sasuke, let go of me.” The older one said calmly, but Sasuke didn't listen to him.
"What was that supposed to mean ?! Haku didn't hurt you!"
"Let go of me ..." Itachi said a little cynically.
"What kind of game are you playing ?! What do you really want, huh ?! I think you've been kidding me all along!Orochimaru has nothing to do with the matter, am I right ?! "shouted the younger angrily.
"YOU SHOULD LET ME GO!" Itachi shouted now and pushed Sasuke away from him.
Haku had meanwhile got up again and looked vengeful at Itachi.
"You won't touch it again, do you understand ?!" he said cynically.
"I DON'T WANT YOU TOUCH HIM!" Sasuke called suddenly and pointed to his brother.
Haku paused and looked at him.
"Why are you protecting him ?! He tore you out of my arms and wanted to take you away from me! Isn't that reason enough to end his measly life ?!" countered Haku resolutely.
“Sasuke, he's right,” Itachi said. "I tore you out of his arms. And I don't regret it. You belong to me, right? You should serve me, no one else!" Itachi replied cynically as well.
His words made Sasuke shudder.
"I should what ?! Who are you actually ?! You are not my brother! Who were you when I saw you for the first time in 8 years ?!You were cold, but not as you are now! Not so ... "Sasuke said bitterly.
"Listen, Sasuke. Whoever that is, he's not the same brother you once knew. I can feel that. You don't have to help him ..." Haku said calmly.
Itachi held his neck. Then he held onto the wall with his other hand.
"Sa ... suke ... run ..." Itachi only said and then passed out. Sasuke just stopped dead and looked down at his brother.
"What ... what was that now?" he asked confused.
Haku went to Sasuke's brother and gently touched him on his neck with his fingertips.
"He's not himself, that's for sure. And I have a suspicion ..." he said, pulling Itachi's collar down. A strange sign appeared, which Sasuke was very familiar with.
"That's ..." he said and grabbed his own neck.
"Yes, a spell." said the brown-haired and looked down at Itachi. "He was checked."Sasuke knelt next to his brother and stroked the spell mark. But as soon as he touched it, his hands left him and he became dizzy.

"I'll try. I promise." he said firmly.
Haku grabbed Sasuke's wrist when he was about to leave and got up. Then he gave him a tender, but only fleeting, kiss on the cheek. But Sasuke did the same, only with Haku's mouth when he had peeled off his cheek. When this kiss came to an end, Haku smiled relieved, because he knew that Sasuke would keep his promise.
